I was nauseous with ds1, sick a bit with ds2, and sick all the time with dd - all the way through. Much much hornier with the boys than with dd - esp in 2nd trimester, I put it down to the testosterone - dh was quite put out he didn't get his middle term shagathon . Also, could NOT stop eating with dd - really quite outrageous. Do you think you're having a boy? How far gone are you?

LynetteScavo · 01/06/2007 22:43

With Ds1 I was hungry all the time - and not nauseous at all

With DD I got a craving for sweet things - and was very nauseous

With DS2 got no cravings and was not very nauseous

DD now has a very sweet tooth

How exciting!!! Please let us know when you do. (Although I had a scan saying it was a girl at 20 weeks, the day before she was born same doc said it was a boy, so I went home in a panic and couldn't find anything not pink and flowery in the drawer - thankfully she was pink in flavour!)

mummyto2littleprincess · 03/06/2007 00:12

i will let you know but it wont be until about aug when i find out lol

sickness doesnt work sorry- used to work on a hypermesis helpline so can assure you very much on that one

Apaprently there's some truth in the heart rate thing and thats about it

flibbertyjibbet · 03/06/2007 00:49

I had completely different preg 2nd time and it was another boy.
My yoga teacher told me her mil had 7 pregnancies, all completely different, so after the first, each time she thought, this must be a girl. Nope, 7 boys.

Jossiejump · 09/06/2007 21:42

The heart rate thing was wrong for me-DS1 HB 140 (kept us guessing), DS2 HB160 (girls heartrate)-but he's very in touch with his feminine side!!!

PrettyCandles · 09/06/2007 21:55

The only real difference between my pregnancies was that the morning sickness started at 6-7w with my boys, and at 3-4w with my girl. Yes, with dd I had morning sickness well before I could test. I also had a couple of early miscarriages, and with them also had morning sickness before I could test.

Cravings were also all the same, just more and more intense with each pg.
