Trainee Maternity Nanny - have a look if your expecting!!

Hi all,

Some of the other ladies on here have recommended Ipost on this bit in case any of you are pregnant and are maybe considering a maternity nurse or nanny but put off by the prices.

Basically I am training to become one myself and as a trainee am charging about half the price of a full-fledged MN.

I am qualified, with about 5+yrs experience in childcare, including infants but am now looking to make my career specifically based around newborns and maternity nannies. I have plenty of knowledge and advice to offer in regaards to feeding, routines etc and can help with household duties and night feeds to generally make the first few weeks easier to manage.

Oh - good point.

Sorry I am based in London but happy to travel if it is live-in (within reason!)
Chichester is another favourite destination and home of my holiday caravan! So Brighton, Portsmouth etc is fine.

I might be interested but am not due until end of August. Am based in London. Will you still be training then?

are you offering temporary post birth help (i.e 2-4 weeks) If so I am due in February 2008 and will certainly be looking fo a nanny to help (with twins). We live in London
