New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Interesting, my mum suggested I try going for a short walk. I've tried going to the end of the garden and back 😂 but didn't get any benefits from it! Perhaps I need to try a bit harder.

My very kind mum has ordered me some kind of homeopathic remedy too. She's a great believer in homeopathy. We shall see whether it has any effect!

Oops how did that happen Hmm

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 28/06/2018 16:27

@hayleyfx bananas are your friend.

Not only are they a soft food (so don’t hurt your throat) they also don’t turn acidic so they don’t burn..

Wames90 · 28/06/2018 16:33

@NotAsGreenAsCabbage - that will be why it was so much more pleasant to vomit a couple of hours after eating a banana than anything else!

maxiflump1 · 28/06/2018 16:40

Sorry some of your are really struggling. I seem to be ok for 3 or 4 days and can function (and eat!) pretty well but I then crash and burn for about 2 days where I can barely lift my head of the sofa and can only eat ginger biscuits and toast. Today unfortunately is a crash and burn day and it's hard work trying to entertain a hot bored 3 year old.....

@twiglet thanks I should try a walk. It’s just a bit too warm for it at the moment but I generally exercise a few times a week and it does help my mood so not being active probably isn’t very good for my mental health! Now I don’t even walk into town on a lunchtime... 😬

kahstorm · 28/06/2018 16:47

Just finished the scan. I'm measuring 6.2 and it's in the right place however they couldn't see a heartbeat. Completely fed up now and loosing hope. I have to go back in a week to see if they can see it then. I just don't feel very optimistic if everyone has heard theirs and they are the same as me. Sorry for the rainy ladies, I don't feel in a very good place right now! X

@kahstorm I'm sorry to hear they weren't able to find the heartbeat, it's still quite early so I would try to keep positive for now, big hugs in the meantime.

Babybeany · 28/06/2018 17:07

@kahstorm I’m keeping everything crossed for you. Xxx

maxiflump1 · 28/06/2018 17:30

I'm sorry to hear this @kahstorm. I know it's hard but try to stay positive. You generally won't see a heartbeat before 6 weeks so it's possible you ovulated a little later than you thought and you are a day or two behind. Fingers crossed for you scan next week Flowers

Oh @kahstorm I am sorry. But until next week I would still have hope. If in right place etc.

I didnt even get told a date by my measurements as they said before 8 weeks such small differances its hard to measure.

I by last period am 7 weeks but dating from scan about a week behind. I didnt see a heart beat either. Just got a cheery nope everythings in right place see you at 12 week scan when I prompted for a follow up to find it.

They said before about 7 weeks its quite hard sometimes too see hb as all start diff times. No clear cut day it should start.

ClaireLouise82 · 28/06/2018 18:08

@kahstorm - so sorry to hear this. I've been reading that the earliest they can usually detect a heartbeat is around 6 weeks but more likely to be around 7-8 weeks so it's still very early for you. Fingers crossed for you 🤞lots of love xx

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 28/06/2018 18:43

@wames90 it sounds so wrong to ‘pleasantly throw up’ but that’s exactly what bananas do in comparison to other foods!

@kahstorm fingers crossed for you 🤞

Celebelly · 28/06/2018 18:49

I didn't take DP to my Midwife booking in appointment. He was happy to come but honestly it was fairly dull so I was glad I had told him not to bother. It was mainly just an hour of asking questions and recording answers on the computer. There were only a handful of questions about him and his family history and I could easily answer those without him. I don't think he really would have got anything from it. But no harm in a partner going if they are keen to or if you think you need the support!

MrsY87 · 28/06/2018 19:03

Sorry the scan was inconclusive @kahstorm try to stay positive however hard that is, it might still be too early to find a heartbeat, they are so so tiny at this stage and your dates might be out slightly. My scan yesterday put me at 9 days earlier than my LMP. Hope you have someone you can talk to in RL too x

Littleonek · 28/06/2018 19:06

Does anyone else get dizzy? Eg in the evenings for the last few days ive been feeling dizzy, 7 weeks tomorrow and dr google says this is normal. It makes my sickness worse though.

Alicejj8x · 28/06/2018 19:16

@kahstorm
Just keep positive hun i have everything crossed for you

You could of ovulated later and that's why ..

When I went for my scan yday they told me I was about 5ish weeks from the look of the yolk sac they never measured however as they said they like to take measurements near 2 12 weeks and at this stage they like to just check everything looks normal and is in the right place etc.
I did see a heart beat yday I had an internal scan and they said I was 5ish weeks howeve I think I'm more near to 6 if not 6 weeks personally but not 100% but just keep thinking positive as it's still so so early days

hayleyfx · 28/06/2018 19:25

@kahstorm I’m sorry, try to stay positive though it can be hard to detect the heartbeat at 6 weeks. 7-8 weeks is more reliable for it. Got my fingers crossed for you 🤞

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking thanks for the advice! Stocking up on bananas now haha. Trying to just eat food now that isn’t too gross or sore coming back up 🙈

seafoodeatit · 28/06/2018 20:16

Even at 8 weeks it can be hard to date, I had an internal scan at my fertility clinic with DC2 and they were almost a week out with the dating.

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 28/06/2018 21:20

@Littleonek my balance has been a little off. I think that's from my varying levels of nausea!

jeanzbeanz · 28/06/2018 21:57

@Littleonek yes I've been dizzy for the last couple of weeks. I'm learning to stand up slowly, otherwise I black out every time! I've just got in bed and I feel like the bed is swaying from side to side which is a new development 🤔 and definitely doesn't help the nausea 😭
