New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

@MrsY87 that is amazing news! Massive congratulations to you! I’m actually ever so slightly jealous. I’d love twins. 💖 X

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 27/06/2018 18:57

Congrats @MrsY87 !!!

I’m a bit jealous too 😂

Skydiving · 27/06/2018 19:00

Mrsy oh my goodness congratulations! Twins how exciting for you!

Jeanzbeanz I know I have actually cried because I’m so fed up of the nausea, it’s unbelievably draining isn’t it. I think if you haven’t experienced it you don’t understand how debilitating it is. I’ve had stomach cramps too. I’m constipated. Trapped wind.

ClaireLouise82 · 27/06/2018 19:10

@MrsY87 - congratulations on your scan - wow twins how exciting 😀xx

seafoodeatit · 27/06/2018 20:41

MRSY87 - Wow 3 under 2! You'll be great don't worry about it for now. Congratulations!

Bluelagoon25 · 27/06/2018 20:44

@jeanzbeanz I felt exactly like you the past week, i wasn't able to keep much food down and retching all the time. I found what helped was I took a day off work and just let my body rest, slept loads. I do find it's easier this week and I am managing to keep some food down. I am 7+3 now. X

Skydiving · 27/06/2018 20:46

Bluelagoon do you think six weeks could be the worst for nausea?

jeanzbeanz · 27/06/2018 20:54

I'm definitely feeling at my worst now. (7+4)
Better start improving soon 😭 lost all enthusiasm I ever had for pregnancy.

Notquiteagandt · 27/06/2018 21:09

@MrsY87 how lovely! Congratulations.

Today brought a new low for me. Throwing up in a restaurant and spending about 2 hours picking at food trying to force something down me.

Safe to say the morning sickness has well and truely kicked in now.

Only thing seem to be able to stomach is watery food like watermelon and cucumber.

After a scare earlier in the week, it is weridly reassuring though. My hormones are obviously doing something.

hayleyfx · 27/06/2018 21:11

@MrsY87 massive congrats! How amazing, twins. You must be so excited 😀

To everyone feeling rubbish - I’m right there with you. I panicked yesterday as my sickness seemed so much better and I managed to eat but today I’m back to feeling awful. I’m 8+1 so hopefully it’s reaching it’s peak now and then will get better (we’ll see 🙈) was pretty thankful today to feel sick again though haha. Nausea bands are helping me at times, just to take the edge off!

AliceRR · 27/06/2018 21:30

Is anyone else feeling “hormonal” / emotional?? I feel super down tonight, crying my eyes out as I don’t feel loved enough or something and just feeling like I have PMT.

DH is not very helpful and doesn’t handley hormones very well...

Notquiteagandt · 27/06/2018 21:51

@alicerr

Yep 🙋🏼‍♀️ I think poor DP is sick of me asking if he is ok every 5 mins. As I am convinced he is looking at me funny/not paying me enough attention/in a mood etc.

That as me raging at him for breathing to loud/touching me/being near me in general.

I am a moody cow and suffer with severe PMT at the best of times but this is something else.

I cried before because DP had been the shop and bought me lots of things I wanted to encorage me to eat....give me strength!!

jeanzbeanz · 27/06/2018 22:11

So glad it's not just me, I also can't bear DH breathing on me or touching most of me!! He asks every few minutes if I'm alright and if I still love him and it only makes me feel more irritable

FrowningFlamingo · 27/06/2018 22:12

Haha - my DH has been in a right mood for the last two days, maybe he's coming out in sympathy Hmm

craftymum01 · 27/06/2018 22:16

My DH is definitely losing sympathy. Not only am I a crabby hormonal cow, I’m ow off nicotine so I’m a huge barrel of laughs to live with!
Funny I am getting mild nausea but can still eat anything. What I can’t do is drink anything but water, the thought makes me gag and sends my nausea from mild to violent!

Babybeany · 27/06/2018 22:28

@AliceRR I was just like this the other day. Crying in the middle of the supermarket because the cashier had short changed me by £2! I went to bed before my boyfriend last night and cried as he didn’t come to bed with me... it’s all part of it, Pmt/hormones are a real thing. Vent on here if you need to. Big squishes! Xx

MrsY87 · 27/06/2018 22:37

Thanks all! Nervously excited as it's obviously still early days so it might not end up being twins plus we will be going from 2 to 4 kids if all goes well...we'll have 4 under 4.5yrs! Crazy! Think it might take a while to sink in. Going to call the mw tomorrow to find out if there is any extra monitoring I'm supposed to have in the first trimester.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 27/06/2018 22:39

My other half’s gone to bed in a mild grump because I wouldn’t let him put his smelly feet on my lap.

To be fair.. they are only ‘a bit’ pongy, but everything smells so much stronger 🤢

Getting the bus into town and then walking through the town is nearly finishing me off. People really do generally smell bad 😩😩

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 27/06/2018 22:41

If there were two heart beats surely that’s a positive?

I had vanishing twin syndrome in my first successful pregnancy, but there was never a heart beat in the other sac at the 6 week scan.

somethingfromnothing · 27/06/2018 22:50

Im 6+5 today and really struggling with nausea, to the point I couldn’t actually function. Not been sick too much yet but I had hyperemisis in my previous successful pregnancy. Gp has prescribed me cyclizine and I have started taking it today. I’m hoping it might nip things in the bud and it won’t progress into the severe sickness I had the last time.

MrsY87 · 28/06/2018 05:44

Yes think the presence of two heartbeats is a good sign but still can't help but feel nervous about whether it will all go well.

Think it might just be that it's quite a shock too! Woke up this morning & thought I'd dreamt it! I joked with my DH in the car on the way to the scan that it would be twins! Funny how you just know!

MrsY87 · 28/06/2018 05:45

Sorry to hear your suffering @somethingfromnothing glad the GP has given you something to help.

kahstorm · 28/06/2018 06:45

Morning everyone. How are you all? Sorry to hear you ate all suffering from nausea! I feel pretty much fine which is a tad concerning. The bleeding has stopped and I have my scan this afternoon. I'm an emotional wreck at the moment and being a teacher is not a good mix! Today is going to drag a lot! X

maxiflump1 · 28/06/2018 07:17

Good luck with you scan @kahstorm. What time is it?
