New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

@FrowningFlamingo How exciting that you got to see and hear the heartbeat though. That's what I'm dreaming of! I'll be around 7+3 for me and it's like my next milestone (the first was today - 6 weeks) so emotions will be running high I think!

clairehr · 23/06/2018 19:14

By the way, who here is planning on finding out the gender? 💙❤

AliceRR · 23/06/2018 19:16

@hayley013 that’s so odd (but nice)!

I spoke to soon about sleeping ok. Last night was in bed by about 9:30 but awake again by about 1:30 am...

I have had watery ears since I found out I was pregnant which seems to be related to pregnancy as I’ve read other people have the same thing. No pain (which is good as I’m obviously avoiding pain killers) but still uncomfortable as they feel sort of blocked.

Has anyone else this?

Still exhausted all the time but have done very little today

Babybeany · 23/06/2018 19:31

@AliceRR I haven’t had watery ears, but my hay fever has been playing up. I don’t normally suffer at all, however I have been sneezing and have itchy ears and eyes. I wondered if that was linked...
@clairehr we will find out the flavour 💖 I think we both want to know what to plan for and a name etc. Not sure if we will tell anyone though. What have you guys decided on? X

bubblybrit · 23/06/2018 19:31

@clairehr. My DH wants to know the gender but I’m not so sure. It’s a constant battle in my household. What are you thinking?

clairehr · 23/06/2018 19:41

@babybeany @bubblybrit We're not going to find out if we can help it, I always thought I'd want to know, but have decided that I want it to be OH's job at birth as well as cutting the cord 😊 he was made to find out by his ex with his two children when he didn't want to, so I don't want to do that to him.

I'm soooo excited to see what everyone here is having though so I can't wait for you to find out and satisfy that part of it for me, haha!

fizzledays · 23/06/2018 19:46

@clairehr My DH had always said he didn't want to find out...now I'm actually pregnant he's like "of course we'll find out!"
I feel like it'd be a nice surprise on the day but also...I'm impatient and want to be able to plan clothes/nursery etc!

clairehr · 23/06/2018 19:55

@fizzledays I totally understand the want to, I genuinely thought that would be me as I'm a bit of a control freak.

However, my brother has just had a baby, they didn't find out, their nursery is beautiful and they've still got so many lovely clothes that it's made me quite confident that it can be done.

fizzledays · 23/06/2018 20:00

@clairehr oh it can for SURE be done! 100%! I just am a control freak tbh, I can't imagine not knowing. We might change our minds, we'll see! Going to get the harmony test done which I think from reading about can tell you?

clairehr · 23/06/2018 20:07

@fizzledays Can you tell I'm trying to convince myself? Haha!

Yes, I've heard that! Expensive though aren't they? When do you get it done?

bubblybrit · 23/06/2018 20:08

@fizzledays. Yes the harmony test will tell you. My DH and I decided not to book an early reassurance scan as we have already booked the harmony test at 10 weeks. Only another 4 weeks to go which will likely drag in!

@clairehr. I have no idea what we are going to do yet. DH really wants to know though! Guess we have a few weeks until we need to decide

hayley013 · 23/06/2018 20:10

I would love the surprise of not finding out but we will be, I wouldn't be able to wait out of sheer impatience, but will wait until 20 week scan. I'm desperate to know already 😂🙈 xx

jeanzbeanz · 23/06/2018 20:40

Don't think we will find out the gender, I like the idea of having a surprise to look forward to during labour! Although another half of me would like to have cute outfits lined up...

Alicejj8x · 23/06/2018 20:47

@MrsY87 ahh I am
Glad to see it's been like
It for you too. Yes defo fx! Xxx

Yakadee · 23/06/2018 21:53

@MrsY87 - crazy isn't it! Would love to do another just to see what it's like now with a few more weeks behind me!

@FrowningFlamingo - that's amazing!

@clairehr - we're going to find out this time. We didn't with my son and was a lovely surprise but fancy finding out this time. Also, we have a ton of boys stuff in the attic which I need to know whether to keep or not! Lol x

fizzledays · 23/06/2018 23:06

Oh fab thanks @bubblybrit! I just booked early scan for next Saturday too! Midwife appointment on Monday, will be 6+6 at early scan appt

bubblybrit · 24/06/2018 06:59

@fizzledays. I have midwife appointment on 6th July when I’ll be 8 weeks then harmony test 2 weeks later. Can only determine sex of baby by blood test at 10 weeks but if you waited until 16 weeks then they can pick it up via the ultrasound that’s part of the package. I can’t wait until 16 weeks so booked it in when I’ll be 10+1!!

Alicejj8x · 24/06/2018 09:43

Morning ladies how everyone feeling today. I feel so normal and fine it's worrying me. Wednesday cannot come
Fast enough for this scan :/

Sugarmonkey · 24/06/2018 11:06

Hi everyone, I'm 7 weeks today. We have been trying for nearly 3 yrs so I'm so excited. This is my first pregnancy and I really im worried. Wks 4-6 I had a lot of discomfort low down (all day every day) but this week the discomfort has almost ceased. I just feel exhausted but I have had spotting on and off for a week. I'm so worried it might not be in the right place. Would I know by now?

byanyothernamerose · 24/06/2018 11:10

Hi again...

I am 8weeks and 3days, so due at the v end of Jan or beginning of Feb.

Had an early scan last week and saw and heard the heartbeat which was amazing.

I was feeling nauseous constantly (without throwing up), but now this seems to be subsiding...has this happened to anyone else? Should I be nervous?

twiglet · 24/06/2018 11:15

I'm feeling rough but I'm now forgetting what it feels like not to be! I'm slightly torn between wanting to go enjoy the sunshine and curling up on the sofa!
@sugarmonkey some people get spotting throughout just monitor 🙂

Camsie30 · 24/06/2018 11:16

@bubblybrit I had the harmony test with my daughter. It was great to know the sex at 12 weeks although I decided to keep it a secret! Very fun! Are you going to the FMC on Harley St?

maxiflump1 · 24/06/2018 11:20

Welcome @byanyothernamerose and @Sugarmonkey. It's so tough isn't it as everybody suffers differently and there no normal. When I had my DS 3 years ago I only had a couple of days of nausea but this time I've been really sick on and off for over a week and feel rotten. Maybe if you've had some spotting @Sugarmonkey you could call your local EPU for advice?

I've reached new levels of glamour today: took dog out for a walk and had to pick up one of his poos. Made me projectile vomit into the hedge. Luckily no one else other than DS and Ddog to see it!

Very Glamourous lol. I have an appointment at epu in the morning. I'm just worried to expect the worse. I'll give updates tomorrow, fingers crossed it's not eptopic

maxiflump1 · 24/06/2018 11:44

Good luck for tomorrow @Sugarmonkey x
