I'm in a bit of pain today too!
Mostly back pain and something that feels similar to a stitch in my side
Ohh! And heartburn!! Omg it's terrible

PandaDec2018 · 11/07/2018 09:04

Hi all

Finally joined after just reading the threads for a while now!

Due 21st December :-)

Hope everyone is happy and well.

Dogmom · 11/07/2018 10:33

How we all doing?
17 weeks now and feeling like I need a wee all the time. I went to the doctors this morning as was convinced I had a UTI (I'm prone to them). Urine clear; temp fine. Only conclusion we can draw is baby is growing and pressing on my bladder causing me to need little wees often!
Anyone else experienced this?!?

Dogmom · 11/07/2018 10:34

@RomPom stressful time for you. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. Sounds like you're doing the right things.
Massive hug.

Dogmom · 11/07/2018 10:35

Hi @PandaDec2018 :-) due date twin yay! Also due 21st Dec.
X

EnglishIrishRose · 11/07/2018 10:36

Thanks @Cakelaur I probably could do some cleaning as I felt way too crap to do much of anything in the first trimester - poor OH needs a bit of a break!

I've had cramps, ligament pains and sometimes just a sore bump too, good to know I'm not the only one. Sneezing can be ruddy painful at the moment!

MagicalCreatures · 11/07/2018 10:36

@Dogmom I have a bladder condition which means I wee all the time anyway and so in pregnancy am prone to bladder infections too. But I think I’m general, in pregnancy you need to wee more.

I’ve got my gender scan today at 4.30pm. I can’t wait x

@Dogmom I have exactly the same... need a wee all the time but only a little comes out. And I've started having (ahem) little accidents! Going to mention it to my midwife at my appointment next week.

EnglishIrishRose · 11/07/2018 10:40

@MagicalCreatures how exciting! Hope it goes well.

PandaDec2018 · 11/07/2018 10:44

@dogmom Yay hello due date twin!

Not sure how to use this properly yet so hopefully I am doing this right.

Pregnancy allergy rash, waaaaah!!

At least DS2 waited until the third trimester to torture me with this.

Have fun @MagicalCreatures which one are you going to?

I went to the one in Hove on Monday, I didn’t want to go to the Brighton one because I have bad associations with that one but they are really nice in there.

Gemsie1984 · 11/07/2018 13:10

Oh no! @JustVent that looks so sore & inflamed :(

December2018 · 11/07/2018 13:17

JustVent that just looks soooo itchy!!
💐

December2018 · 11/07/2018 13:18

Have you got anything for it? X

JustVent · 11/07/2018 13:33

Soooooo itchy!! It doesn’t hurt, it looks like it does but it just itches.

Last time my whole body was covered, particularly my bump and thighs. Weird that is started at my ankles Confused and working it’s way up my calves.

I’m having to put hydrocortisone ointment on which isn’t ideal but my only choice. Cold wet flannels sooth it.

Last time I was allergic to being pregnant I ended up having a child with multiple severe allergies, I’ve always wondered if there was a link and now I’m thinking it again!

MagicalCreatures · 11/07/2018 14:48

@JustVent I’ve been to ultrasound direct in hove for an early 6+4 Scan but since then I’ve been to bubbaview in lancing. It’s really cheap. I got 20% off this Scan because I’d been before at 9 weeks so this gender scan has cost me £36.
That rash does look very uncomfortable. You poor thing. Fingers crossed it doesn’t mean the same as last time x

I was tempted to go to Lancing. But they all seemed to be late afternoon/evening.

Best of luck for this afternoon!

PandaDec2018 · 11/07/2018 16:29

Hows everyone's symptoms?

I had dreadful sickness til about last week (16 weeks) now starting to feel better but still some dreadful headaches..
I cannot tell my work yet which is SO hard.

Also SO hormonal, constantly upset and stressed that my longest best friend does not care one single bit about one bit about me being pregnant (I know no everyone cares but still!), she shows no interest at all and will talk about anything possible apart from me and how I am! Feel like she is very selfish at the moment.

Eagerly awaiting 8th August for 20 week scan and to find out sex, I want to know now I am so impatient. Has anyone had private scans and found out early? What are you girls having?

Sorry for the long post Smile

PandaDec2018 · 11/07/2018 16:31

Also to add to my above rant about friend not caring, I am being sensitive, she is not TTC or anything, shes a very much single air hostess 'living the dream'. Would be nice is she actually shown some interest on a pretty HUGE event in my life!
