Hi
I am almost six weeks pregnant. I am due 07/01/2008 with my second child. Have a DD who was 3 in April. So excited! Travelling around Australia at the moment so hopefully I don't get too sick!

Hi everyone - congrats to you all. Hope you're all well. (we've already spoken Scotgirlinoz!)

Just to let you know, there is another Jan 2008 thread entitled 'Due at New Year....anyone else?!' where there is a whole load of us chatting about nausea, eating too much chocolate etc.

Good luck!

gingeme · 14/05/2007 16:53

Shall we post over there ScotGirlInOz? From previous experience its good to share. See you over there. x

Hello,

Not sure where to join in. I'm expecting Jan. 15th. Conceived just before 42nd birthday, co-incidentally between the time that my father died and his funeral. I have been feeling a little nauseous but otherwise very well. Now beginning to worry about nuchal fold tests and CVS. But I guess it's just time to relax and enjoy. I don't know anything about netspeak, but I'll probably pick it up! Any advice or similar experiences?

Byee,

Molly65

hi molly, i have just joined the 'due in the new year' thread, that's seems to be the jan thread, so come on over.
i'm due end of jan so just behind you, no nausea...yet!

see you on the other thread, kt

Housemum · 20/05/2007 19:52

Molly - here's a link to the New Year thread - Due At New Year

I'm 40 next year, so am thinking about nuchal fold etc - my view is that I'll get to the nuchal fold scan then worry after that - the idea of invasive tests does scare me a bit with the 1% mc chance. Apparently after the nuchal fold test they give you a probability of high/medium/low risk based on combination of your age and scan results (possibly also blood test results though that is later than 12 weeks) - unless I score a high risk I won't even consider any further testing.

Do you have any other children? Or is this all as new to you as message boards?!

Hi!

Thanks for the replies/advice. Yes I'm new to all of it. Just bought a book on pregnancy which my puppy chewed the corner of. Puppy is called Merlin and has seemed to have had a little magic! I was trying some fertility treatment, and when I gave up, (typically) I conceived. I've also been having reflexology which I think is great. I'm terribly nervous about things -- the obvious things that everyone worries about when they think about bringing someone into the world. Will s/he be healthy? etc. I can smell supper burning so I'd better go. ciaou. xx
