Mc x 2 both at 5 weeks
4weeks and 2 days pregnant and praying its sticky!

Hello All, I'm 4w 1D due 31st December. I got my BFP last Wednesday and ever since then I've been getting on and off really sharp, almost like period pains/cramps. They come over quickly and pass within a couple of minutes but I have to crouch in a ball to help me deal with them. Tends to happen around 3 ish in the afternoon and sometimes before bed. Have sore breasts here and there and waves of nausea but I'm a bit worried about the cramps. Has anyone heard of this? I'm guessing it's growing pains but happens almost daily at the moment

@SunshineSparklesSmiles firstly, welcome :) secondly yes I've experienced these, especially in the earlier stages.. they were painful sometimes, like period pains. When I coughed or sneezed I'd get pains too.. they've calmed in the last week or so now.. think it's all the ligaments stretching..

hello, lovely to see all these early scans. :)
This is my first pregnancy & it wasn't planned so feel completely clueless about all of this.
I keep doing tests as I think I'm still shocked, I did another digital today & it's still saying 1-2 weeks but I should be seeing 3+ or at least 2-3. has anyone else had this?
Due date looks like 23rd Dec xx

@dreaminofholidays clearblue digital date from conception, which should be around 2 weeks later than your LMP which everything else dates from.

Does that make more sense with your dates? :)

Maggi I have a scan tomorrow too, how many weeks are you? Hope all goes well x

@stephisaur I think it should be showing 2-3 or 3+ as I think I am about 5+2 now going from DOC. LMP puts me at 6+4 but never been regular or tracked periods before.
It's so confusing to me. I am just worried that it not moving on in weeks means it's stopped x

@dreaminofholidays I'm also a 23rd Dec my digital test this week said 2-3..

I'm not sure what to think. I think I had another hormone surge today. This sounds mental but I could smell it as I went to the loo...

@Kit17 hi 😊 that makes me feel a little better. I think it's partially down to us deciding not to tell anyone yet so I still feel like it's not actually happening. Also when I spoke to the nurse, all I really got was the midwife will be in touch, so I feel like nothing is really progressing. I think that's my impatient side!!
When are you due?

Hi please add me to the FB group. Not been on here for a week or so, had a bleed a week ago, had scan which was fine and moved my date on, saw heartbeat which put me at 6 weeks. Now 7+2. Lovely to hear everyone's good news. Starting to feel more sick and being sick. Had HG with DS that kicked in around 8 weeks. Hope not in for a repeat.

Also, anyone who is planning a home birth had any issues registering with midwives. I have 3 hospitals in a 5 mile radius and it was such a faff. Nearest said no as over the border. Second nearest have said yes but have to have all mw appts at hospital as GP "out of area". Furthest hospital linked to GP area would only take me for a hospital birth at the hospital. Wish I could afford private mw. The hospital that have said yes don't have a great rep and wouldn't want to have to go in if I needed to.

Mincepies my MW encouraged me to have a home birth when I met her last week but I politely declined. Not sure why but I just don’t see myself giving birth at home. I was able to choose from two local hospitals so I chose the one where I was born 😁

Hello, may I join please? I’m 5 weeks today with our first baby. Due date either December 26th or 28th depending on which due date calculator I use. Have sore boobs, but it was the increased CM and saliva that made me think I might be pregnant. Feeling pretty wary about it all at the moment. Keep looking at miscarriage stats.

I’ve got some friends visiting at the weekend. Don’t want to tell them yet, but they will be very suspicious if I’m not drinking! Any suggestions?
