Hello to all the new joiners!

Quick Question - anyone elses’ Husbands / partners driving them up the wall? I literally laid in bed and cried myself to sleep as he just seemed to pick on me all day yesterday. (I work for him too)

He is so insensitive. 😑😑😑😑

lolli18 · 18/04/2018 06:15

My cramping had gone but breast still a bit sore getting worried actually Confused feel a bit normal now Sad

December2018 · 18/04/2018 07:21

Feeling normal is... normal I Googled the same thing yesterday my symptoms come & go
... yeah my OH is a pain in the arse... considering this little bean I'm carrying round is extra special to me because we tried to so long.... he sat there yesterday on the sofa and watched me scrubbing the house.. steaming the floors and everything... and he didn't even offer to help.. I pulled him up over it last night and he just said well I've been working all day..... ppppffffttt!!
Don't know weather I'm just being sensitive xxx

MamaBerg · 18/04/2018 08:04

Wow Mibby that seems far too late!
I was concerned that the first GP appointment I could get (at a sensible time that's when I'm not at work) is Friday 27th when I'll be 7+2. Then to get a midwife appointment, then a scan. It just seems all very tight time wise. I was really annoyed actually because I found a leaflet from my first pregnancy that says you can skip the GP and self refer to the community midwives. I called the midwives, the hospital and the GP and all were adamant that I must see the GP first. I can't understand it when the GPs are so busy so I thought I would be saving them an "unnecessary" appointment. Confused All they're going to do is refer me to the midwives. Not like they actually 'confirm' the pregnancy with a test or anything.

liane15 · 18/04/2018 08:16

@MamaBerg I didn't see my gp first, I called and booked straight in with the community midwife and had my first app yesterday. All though I still don't have an appointment to fill in my notes or for my bloods she said she will call me in a few weeks before my first scan. I'm an organised freak so stressing already 🤦‍♀️

Mamababynumber2 · 18/04/2018 08:38

Anyone else constipated? I am very bloated and it's giving me a stomach ache. On my commute to work and feeling quite unwell

Stephisaur · 18/04/2018 08:39

The fear is real!

My boobs hurt on and off, I’m either nauseous or ravenous. I’m getting pretty tired and I’m bloated and eurgh.

It’s a wonderful time 😂

@December2018 I literally had a nap, the same time he did and he got funny with me about it?

I am unbelievably exhausted and my boobs hurt each time I turn in bed. He has no clue.

It makes me wonder what he is going to be like further down the line. Been together for 11.5 years (i’m 26)

I feel completely unexcited today, hoping this is hormones making me more sensitive.

Have a great day all!

Oh - whoever was constipated, try some peppermint tea, it helps with the belly ache and will help you go too.

Tori3535 · 18/04/2018 10:32

@Snowflake9 my poor husband got the brunt of me this morning but I can’t cope with his laziness about the house! I keep telling him when this baby comes along he’s going to have to help more, I don’t think he even knows were the mop/ hoover stays. I called my mum for a rant and she told me off, that he works hard and to leave him alone!

MamaBerg · 18/04/2018 10:59

Oh my god I'm so tired. Nearly falling asleep at my desk. I keep having to go to the loo just to wake myself up!!

Facepainter26 · 18/04/2018 12:01

Does anyone else keep taking pregnancy tests just to be sure?? Or am I just crazy ha!! I’m just convinced that I’m going to take one and get a negative! My AF is due today but I took a test and it’s still a BFP, it’s a darker line then yesterday so that’s good. Not sure when to ring the doctor though...

Stephisaur · 18/04/2018 12:19

Facepainter worth calling them if you’ve gotten another positive today :) can take a few weeks to get your MW appointment :)

I POAS yesterday 😂 just to check 😂 test line was darker than the control line so I’m taking that as a good sign!

MagicalCreatures · 18/04/2018 12:33

@Stephisaur
Can you post a pick of your most recent FRER for me. I’m panicking. I did another this morning, 2 days since the last one, and it’s a tad darker but not a lot.
With my last pregnancy that ended in miscarriage, my HCG levels didn’t rise properly and were still only 1000 at 7+ weeks. So I’m an anxious petal today. Here’s mine

Ladies. Question.... I have a scan at Epu at 6+4. So I wait to double check all is ok before referring to the midwife for a booking app? Or do I refer now? Or will Epu refer me for booking? Last time I just self referred and when I lost the baby Epu cancelled the appointment

Stephisaur · 18/04/2018 12:41

@magicalcreatures sorry lovely I binned it so that DH didn’t have me committed :(

I can see your line getting darker which is a good sign :) how far do you think you are?

I can POAS again for you later if you like, I have a few left
X

December2018 · 18/04/2018 12:49

I keep doing them.... mine aren't that dark tho to be honest but I am drinking lots & lots of water so maybe diluting a bit xx
It's a bit concerning tho because I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and my tests are quite light still... they are the cheapo eBay ones like 😂😂 xxx

Mummydizzy · 18/04/2018 12:59

Here is mine....

MagicalCreatures · 18/04/2018 13:04

@Stephisaur
That’s so sweet of you to offer but they cost a lot of money. So don’t worry hun.
I know it is getting darker. I just expected it to be super dark now or atleast darker then the control line. I’m 4 weeks tomorrow but I got my first BFP on the 14th at 9dpo.
Im only nervous because with my last, my HCG raised quickly to 175 after 5 days of implantation but then slowed and then it took another 3 weeks for it to get to 1000. I’m worried it’s doing the same again.

@Cakelaur I think you should refer yourself now. Don’t wait for your 6 week Scan.

@December2018
I’m sure we are just over worrying for nothing but those cheap ones from eBay are no where near as good as the FRER etc

I’ve been trying to look it up and some people say that some of the tests have more dye then others so as long as there is a line then it’s fine. I don’t know whether to believe that or not

Stephisaur · 18/04/2018 13:09

@magicalcreatures well I was 5 weeks yesterday so that probably explains it xx

Stephisaur · 18/04/2018 13:18

Sorry lovely I meant to add more to that.

I can understand your concerns completely with what has happened before. If it helps, your later test looks pretty much bang on how mine looked Sunday, when I would have been 4+3 at least. I think they look like good healthy lines 💕

Gemsie1984 · 18/04/2018 13:37

Thinking ladies.. because there's so many of us on this thread.. why don't be formulate a list of all our names and due dates? The list can be edited at a later date if we find we're carrying more than one (eek) or if/when we find out the gender :)
