couldnt find an oct bus so.... here i am. had my bfp today, at 11dpo.

i had a mc last month so im a bag of nerves.

Hmmm, I’ve been feeling sick all day but all of a sudden I feel totally fine, no sickness, not tired. Yesterday I was in bed at this time!

Was complaining of feeling so ill but now I Can’t help worrying when I’ve got no symptoms.

A bit of nausea has kicked in for me, finding I need to eat pretty regularly to stave it off. Like previous pregnancy apples seem to be my go to snack for that!

We mc in Oct at 5w and currently at 5w3d.
I have an early scan on the 22nd for reassurance.

Really not sure when to tell our parents. My mum and DHs mum knew about our mc as I just needed a mummy hug to make everything feel better.

We have our booking in app on my husbands birthday and 12 weeks scan 3 weeks later. Not sure if we should wait until then . It’s 8 weeks away, feels like a long time. They will also start to notice that I’m not drinking when we go round every week for dinner 🙈

When are you telling family?

@squiglyline I don't want to tell anyone until 12 weeks...it's going to be really hard though!

What's a reassurance scan? My booking in appt not for another 3 weeks then I guess they will schedule first scan...seems ages away!

The reassurance scan is a scan around 6-8 weeks that they can confirm that everything is okay. The nhs usually only offer this if you have a) had complications/ mc in previous pregnancies b) have complications such as bleeding or intense pain in current pregnancy. You can get referred by your gp or you can self refer.
I self referred as I was told when I went in for my mc the midwife told me to book in for one.
You can pay private companies to do an early reassurance scan. I know in Glasgow it’s about £50/£60 for this scan privately x

Can I join? Got my BFP this morning, much to my surprise as we said we were going to start trying next cycle! Think my fertility is still raised from my little boy who will be just shy of 23 months when this baby arrives

I was on MN and then latterly FB with my last group and have made some amazing friends through it. Have read a bit about one of the groups available, what's the other like in terms of amount of members?

Feeling a bit off today, symptoms have disappeared apart from the aching boobs

Never thought I would actually want symptoms! Driving my self mad by doing another test yesterday obviously said I was pregnant no reason to think otherwise just hate the waiting round only 7 weeks tomorrow so a while to wait still

I'm exactly the same @betsy2018! 6+3 today and after a few days of nausea and dizziness nothing... is freaking me out! Had a mc recently which had stopped at 6 weeks so cant help torturing myself by thinking the worst though know fluctuating symptoms is perfectly normal!
Have booked myself a private reassurance scan on Sat so just counting down the days till that now! Xx

Sorry I don't know how to tag to reply... I'm considering the same for this week/weekend which is worrying in it self! Completely crazy I know!

@betsy2018 same here - apart from really sore boobs everything else has calmed down. Got some brown discharge tonight...not sure what to do about if even anything - I am 5+3 so not sure if I can see anyone?

Any advice? This is my first pregnancy so I don't know anything and google doesn't really answer...

It's my first time too so unfortunately no advice but just from reading on here seems it's not unheard off to get spotting. I just think any little change we automatically think it's a sign somethings up

@betsy2018 - you're not wrong there!! I think I'll ring the Dr if there is more discharge or if it carries on. I don't think I can be referred to the Early Pregnancy Unit until 6 weeks - which is Friday...

@betsy2018 I'm only 5+1 and the slight nausea has edged off today (until just now) to be replaced with a really sore throat! I remember in my last pregnancy symptoms came and went loads, but I worried too.

Had my BFP yesterday. Still in shock and disbelief. We'd been trying for 6 months. I'm feeling really scared about the whole thing if I'm honest, as I suffer from bad anxiety and depression. I just keep thinking something will go wrong. Also we're in the process of finding a house to buy too.
