couldnt find an oct bus so.... here i am. had my bfp today, at 11dpo.

i had a mc last month so im a bag of nerves.

I'm still having pains on my left side. It's been 4-5days. Keeps coming and going. It feels higher now. Just wondering what to do? My instincts telling me something's wrong (ectopic).The lines getting darker- hpts every 2 days. So trying to convince myself it's just ligament pain.
I have a GP appt coming up Monday but seems like a long wait. Going to A&E over the weekend just for reassurance seems a bit much, doesn't it? Ladies any thoughts on what I should do?
Am I overthinking this?

@filzma I had really bad sharp pains for a few weeks at the beginning of my last pregnancy. So bad it would wake me up at night and have me whithering around. I had a scan and nothing was wrong it was just a pregnancy pain. So hopefully yours will be nothing to worry about too. Its just hard when most Meds are now off limits.

Second pregnancy (1st ended in mc in September). I'm only 12dpo but my boobs and areolas are huge already! EDD 15/10/18

Also, has anyone else had mild cramps straight after sex at this early stage...?

Still no morning sickness here and it was in full swing by now with my two dds. Am smothered with a cold at the moment and travelling early next week so hope it buggers off. Appetite is a bit off the last few days too probably from the cold. Hope everyone else is feeling good.

To those still testing im tempted to start up again got my 3+ a week ago today but it over a week of testing to go from 1-2to 2-3and only a few days to go to 3+ so it's all a bit hit and miss

Filzma I don't think there is any harm getting it checked out. Hopefully it is just normally pregnancy pain but you can't be too sure.

@filzma a&e definitely isn’t the place to be going lovely. Unless it’s an accident or emergency they are under enough stress and I don’t want you waiting to be disappointed. You can call Your early pregnancy unit for advice and see what they think ? Or book an early reassurance scan ? Your GP can advise or just ask for a booking appointment with your midwife early ? Xx

@twobambinos and @JLamb89 thank you. You're right, a&e is definitely not a prudent idea. Was in pain and exhausted last night when I wrote this. I think I'll try hold out to Monday if the pain remains the same and hopefully see the GP or ask for a reassurance scan of necessary. Thank you both for the replies 💕💕

Shoulder tip pain is a common sign of an ectopic pregnancy and severe pain.
The pain you have could just be your uterus stretching making room for a little bean :) Try not to worry xx

@Filzma Chances are will be fine! I was convinced during my last pregnancy was ectopic as only had pains on one side and could be quite intense sometimes- was a intrauterine pregnancy on my EPU scan though & the pain was just the cyst of the pregnancy (corpus luteal cyst) on that side. Had similar pains again this time but more on the right.
If your really in pain and it's getting worse though is still worth getting checked out- would have a look to see if your early pregnancy unit do self referrals (some have midwives answer calls and take referrals) as you may be able to just ring them up & explain if not you could go via your GP and ask for referral. If it becomes suddenly severe, you pass out or also get shoulder tip pain though you should go to A&E.

5 plus 5 today but still getting 2-3 on clearblue digital and had a terrible back pain on weds that made me a bit wary. On hols next week so will see how it goes and book a scan when I get back if I don't have any bleeding. I'm 38 in a few weeks so quite high chances of things going wrong and really focussing on that at the moment. Sorry to be ladies that have differed early losses so far. It's a horrible stage to be at!
