Thanks @ladydolly that's reassuring xx

LimpLettice · 01/02/2018 10:43

Hi Ladydolly. 38 isn't geriatric I'm sure Grin

CRZ1988 · 01/02/2018 11:46

I did a CB digital this morning just to make sure (it was negative on Sunday) and positive today although it said 1-2 weeks so I may have ovulated late like I thought.

I'm still knicker checking, and trying not o get weepy but the girl gave me a filthy look in Tesco last night when I had a pregnancy test on the conveyor along with a pack of liners. I held it together just as I got in the car and the had a blub. Doesn't help being ridiculously tired too.....

bearhuggy · 01/02/2018 12:10

That's great the test came up positive today CRZ, try not to worry and just take each day as it comes. For me the first bit with my son was the looooongest 12 weeks ever! It does all get so much easier and less worrisome.

Also so tired today, didn't help that we went to the cinema last night and didn't get home until gone midnight then was up at 6am this morning for the first day of a new freelance project. The next couple of weeks is going to be full on but am hoping it takes my mind off you know what !

How's everyone else today? Hope this sun is shining like it is here in London for you all :)

CRZ1988 · 01/02/2018 13:27

@bearhuggy, the weather is gloomy and windy up here in Yorkshire. It looks like its going to rain and its baltic outside!

Thank you for the reassurance :) Its so difficult to stop worrying!

A bit about my situation - These are my tests from Tuesday at 20 DPO (4 weeks). I'm feeling a bit anxious as we had our first IVF in June 2017 which resulted in a MMC in September. This was our last try before paying for IVF and a miracle has happened and we've conceived naturally. Smile

I'm testing every day and creating a progression line. I'm now 22 DPO and the tests look the same as they did on Tues. I was hoping that the test line would be stronger than the control line by now. Am I just being silly? Also with my last pregnancy it was like symptom central (probably because of the progesterone) but this time I feel great.

I have a few symptoms such as period-like pains/cramps, acid reflux, feeling very thirsty, struggling to sleep, pinching and stretching on both sides of my womb and needing to pee all the time. But no nausea and only the tiniest bit of breast pain. I'm trying to be positive and rational but it's so hard!

xx

Jessicajones that test looks amazing. I llwas looking for the test line because I thought it was actually the control line I could see. My tests were barely squints on those ics.

I had a bit of nausea last night thought I was going to be sick but didn't.. Today I'm just lazy and thirsty for fizzy drinks Sad

JessicaJones1 · 01/02/2018 17:26

Thank you twobambinos. I really need to try and switch my anxious mind off and enjoy this!

I'm glad you weren't actually sick. Still, feeling like you're going to be isn't nice either. I really feel for you as I felt terribly sick during my last pregnancy and had full on hyperemesis gravidarum with one many years ago! xx

cervelopedlar · 01/02/2018 17:26

Jessicajones I don't think the colour will get darker than the control line. With my first baby I had no symptoms at all throughout my pregnancy but everything was fine, please try not to worry

JessicaJones1 · 01/02/2018 17:32

Thank you cervelopedlar. Your kind words are very reassuring. Smile

Ubercornsdiscoball · 01/02/2018 17:52

Hi! Tentatively jumping on too! This would be DC3. I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old. I’m nearly 36 so that’s why we are trying to crack on!

No idea of my EDD as I didn’t get a BFP until my period was a week late (happened with my daughter too but not my son) so i’m just guessing early Oct at the moment!

Would love to hop over to Facebook if I know who to look for?

SingaVera · 01/02/2018 18:01

@limp and @Ladydolly
I hardly have any symptoms other than bloating, tiredness, thirst and the odd pulling in the lower region.
I had Nausea early last week but it's completely gone as has the breast pain and swelling.

I need to chose a hospital and no idea where to start. argh!

Ubercornsdiscoball · 01/02/2018 18:35

@DwangelaForever just sent you a friend request. Initials AS

SingaVera · 01/02/2018 18:58

DogMumOfOne · 01/02/2018 21:53

Hi all. New to Mumsnet, this is my very first post. I don't know what lots of these abbreviations are yet!
I am 5 weeks pregnant, going to see GP on Monday to confirm.
First pregnancy. We have a 15 month old dog but no human babies!
Very limited symptoms with me which I need to be thankful for!
Haven't told anyone yet, and wanting to keep a very low profile online so I'm not looking to join facebook groups at this stage.
But just reaching out and saying hello! :)

kirstie1982 · 02/02/2018 00:52

Hey would love to Join facebook group but am keeping my pregnancy a secret at the moment will everyone on my facebook be able to see my posts or that i have joined? xx

Jenijena · 02/02/2018 03:53

The Facebook groups won’t come up, no one can see you’re in it, and your posts are definitely invisible...

kirstie1982 · 02/02/2018 07:05

HoneyCake86 · 02/02/2018 08:23
