hi liath!
See other thread for detail but I'm not going anywhere

geordiemacminx · 27/04/2007 08:23

Morning katy - sorry you had such a crap night

heidle · 27/04/2007 08:29

wow, another exciting night girls!!!!
I was reading this dreading hearing you'd ALL passed the finish post by this morning, and I'd be left here talking to myself.
Due date (by dates) today, have appointment with midwife later this morning, which will no doubt be boring and uneventful as usual (she says trying to tempt fate into breaking waters in waiting room.........)

hope you're not all too tired today - stay in those pj's in bed!!

nearly the weekend now, that means (to me anyway) dh at home, takeaways, and very little else!

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 08:32

Morning!

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 08:41

Hi Heidle - I'm still hanging on too (now 2 days over). I have a feeling I'm gonna be here for a while yet as absolutley nothing happening.

heidle · 27/04/2007 09:17

hi EM - nice to hear from someone else who's had no niggles. have just taken kids up to school, and I have to say, people say the stupidest things: 'have you not had that baby yet?' There's no answer to that really. 'yes I have, I left it at home' I mean honestly!
that and 'any sign?' Do you think I would be here if had been up all night contracting?
sorry about that, I feel much better now!!

oooh, there's the kettle............

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 09:36

what the blardy hell are you doing still here

OP posts:
heidle · 27/04/2007 09:38

quite! hey, don't you worry, if we had the necessary qualifications to be allowed on the PN thread we'd be there like a shot!!!!

send us all labour vibes.........PLEASE!!!!

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 09:47

Morning Ellie
Well at the moment I'm looking forward to going for a wee (yes, really)!
Thanks for keeping me company last night, you kept me sane with your milky exploits

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 09:47

I'm still waiting after 3 days, no sign of anything happening yet. At least I was able to get back to sleep without huge acid attacks, managed to stick to one icepop before bed and one this morning, and my throat isn't as sore as it was.

Awake since 7, 168 pages of my book whipped through already, I think I'll have to try something more challenging after this one! Or find the boxes of trashy novels and see how many more I can get through - I keep most fiction and crime novels but chicklit tends to go in the charity shop pile once I'm done.

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 09:56

Oh as far as I know she's just on this one!
Sorry for the confusion!

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 09:58

What are you reading elkiedee? I love cheap crime, mystery and thriller (the kind you get from the supermarket) and pride myself on finding bargains! I quite like some chicklit, but I swapped with someone a book called "Easy" by Emma Gold, thinking that was the kind of level I could concentrate on in labour, it's absolutely awful I couldn't read more than the 1st few pages!
