You’re an absolute star 🌟 Definitely praying we get to September with healthy pregnancies and healthy babies!

I should probably share my story. Have had 5 miscarriages in the past 4 years. Have one child already. Have had investigations and bloods done including karyotype testing which I'm still waiting for the results on when we found out this Christmas we were expecting. Trying to get in to see my consultant as she said she wants me in by 6 weeks as and when I get pregnant again.

Edd first week of September.

Already being nauseous and sick and had a strong positive so I'm hoping this is the one for us. But I'm also finding I'm checking the paper each time I wipe, scared stiff of the cramping and certain this will go the same way as the others.

Strong symptoms are a great start!

This is DC3 for us and I’m terrified something will go wrong. Due first week of September too so I’m only bang on 4 weeks pregnant today. Counting every day I’m pregnant as a blessing and praying that this little doodle can stick with a nice healthy heartbeat all the way through.

I’m peeing on a stick every other day just to see the line, flinching at every slight cramp, relishing in any new symptoms I come across, checking every time I wipe and counting the days until I can get an early viability scan in at 8 weeks on the 26th January.

Sounds like you're in a similar predicament to me then. It's awful wishing time away but at the same time I want to wish it away!

Hi, jumped over to this thread from the September one, I’m due September 5th. How is everyone doing with the twinges? I’ve had a couple of strong ones on my ride side. Strong enough where I’ve had to stop what I’ve been going. Laid in bed at the min. Other symptoms I’ve had is back ache, metallic taste in mouth and an itchy scalp which is a strange one lol. This is my 4th pregnancy, have 2 children and my last pregnancy was a miscarriage. Trying not to worry but these couple of pains I’ve had are a bit nerve wracking x

MonaTheMoaner · 29/12/2017 15:27

Same twinges bitzy12 but nothing today so far. Nausea this morning but no actual sick, backache, insatiable appetite, knackered (could be lack of caffeine too) and veiny, sensitive boobs. I’m 4+1 so very anxiously waiting until I can get an early reassurance scan in a few weeks.

Namechangedtoscream · 29/12/2017 15:29

Hi welcome aboard. I'm not coping with the twinges. I'm currently laid up on the sofa with heavy cramping and exhaustion. I tested again this morning and it was a stronger result so I'm hoping this is just normal cramping all women get!!

Namechangedtoscream Mine are quite painful and worrying too. I don’t remember them being this painful but it’s been ages since I’ve been pregnant and I’m nearly ten years older this time around. Praying it’s normal.

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 29/12/2017 16:14

@monathemoaner I'm the same been over 10 years for me! I've done some googling and found this. Hope it reassures you

Thank you Bumpowder. Discharge is thick and creamy and there’s no bleeding at all so I’m staying positive but it can be so worrying when it’s so painful you need a lie down. A hot bath is out of the question too which is my go to for any slightly more than mild cramping.
