I thought I’d start this thread now as I can’t see one yet! I got my bfp this weekend on a digital and estimate my due date to be 1st of July, but I have long cycles so I’m anticipating it changing at a dating scan. Anyone else with me for end of June or beginning of July 2018?

I was so worried about the IC being pretty much a BFN with such a tiny squinty line I just POAnotherS! 🙈

Luckily this one was BFP!

Hi Everyone!

I got a BFP on Sunday and then again this morning. It's only just starting to sink in that there is actually going to be a baby on the way!

Due 19th July, already have a DD who is 4. I can't wait to tell her, she is going to be so excited!

@blue this is basically going to be me until at least the first scan!

Congrats Penny I’m the same as you - think the due date would be 18th July! So exciting!!

Have you guys registered with a midwife yet? I want to but wonder if it’s too early as I haven’t even technically missed my period yet (due tomorrow / Wed). Might call on a Friday if all is still well!

I’m thinking the same as you @Lovenluck - will wait until period is definitely missed (weds/thurs) then book in with the midwife. I really want it all to be official

I'm super paranoid but i'm going to try and enjoy every moment. I had seriously faced the fact I might never get pregnant, we were only given 20% odds with IVF so to have managed it naturally feels like we've won the lottery. At least I have am excuse now for my afternoon naps!

What has been everyone's main symptoms? Mine have been sore booblets, ridiculously keen sense of smell and also my moggy not leaving my side which happened when I was pregnant last time

I am currently 5 + 3 feel like I’ve been pregnant for ages as I found out a week before AF! So excited to tell DD (who 4) thinking we may tell her in around 2 weeks!

My main symptoms are the sore, tender boobs! They are so sore! I am quite flat chested but they have grown and are more than a handful now! So tired come 8/9 o’clock! Tired like uncontrollably tired! I think I’ve started going off food now and feeling a little bit off, but I am not hugging the toilet yet!

Wow that's early to find out lgh05. Ive known deep down since a couple of days after ovulation but put off doing a test as I couldn't bear the disappointment, so at 5 +5 I'm quite late finding out compared to you! How do we join the fb group?

@lgh05 my boobs are quite sore and tender too. Finally filling my cups again after dieting for the wedding 🙈

I had terrible cramps during the night on Friday to Saturday. Now they’ve calmed right down, which makes me wonder if everything is ok. I’m doing my own head in with this whole worrying about symptoms being there and then disappearing again!
4 more sleeps until my scan!!

Little worried about morning sickness, which hasn’t really started yet. I’m on a work trip abroad for 4 days at the end of November. There will be many hours on the plane and in cars with colleagues and my manager. I really hope I can avoid telling them. If they ask.... would you lie? I’m such a bad liar. I’m better at keeping things a secret but if someone asks me directly, I don’t think I can say no.

I don’t feel sickly that bad yet! I think if I really didn’t want them to know I’d just say that I was on done medication that doesn’t seem to be having great effects, say you have a kidney infection or something. But if the lying is going to stress you out more than them actually knowing it may be worth just telling them! How many weeks will you be at you scan @Peanutty86 I am hoping to get one done next week at some point when I am 6 +

I think I’ll just see how it goes. It’s also a Christmas party at our HQ and people will be wondering why I don’t drink and smoke (what I do when I drink!)
I’ll be 6+2 if we’re going Friday night straights from the airport, my sister is just checking to see who’s on shift so I wouldn’t mind if it was Sunday or so, as much as I want to see it, I’d rather give it the best chance to see a heartbeat. Are you booking one privately @lgh05?

I’ve or doctors appointment on Thursday so going to tell them then and book in with midwife and get a scan done for when I’m 7/8 weeks. I’m 5+4 now

Hi everyone and congrats to newbies. My main symptom has also been sore boobs.Am 6+2 I think today and have also felt a little nauseous/ queasy today for the first time. I also have gone off baked beans and couldn't face them with our tea just now when I have always previously liked them- so that's a new one for me. I also don't seem to fancy sweet stuff which is unheard of for me and want salty savoury snacky foods (my poor waistline!)

I received a letter today from midwife informing me that I have a booking appointment on Saturday which will be the 7 week point. I'm really excited :)

No it doesn’t have a back ground. It’s a secret group so you have to be invited into it. No one else can see.

I’m interested in the group you found though! How odd that people wouldn’t make the group private at this stage?

I'm feeling really nervous today, I've got some horrible viral thing with a chesty cough but I've had a temperature yesterday and today. I know it can be really bad to have a high temperature in these early days (5 weeks today), I have taken Paracetamol both days to bring it down but still stressing out even though I know there's nothing else I can really do about it. I'm going to the drs tomorrow about the pregnancy so will get them to listen my chest, I just wish I could stop worrying! Symptoms-wise I've had bad pains in the side of my left boob today which I'm sure I remember from first time round, so hopefully that's a good sign...
