less contraversial one!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Eddas · 30/03/2007 21:12

Oh no not that friend, she doesn't drink so no hangovers there, plus she's likely to realise the date and know what i'm up to. And i may well try and get her to the hospital to help dh out if the labour is long!

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:16

not that bad an idea Eddas, I found it was sooooooooo much better having a female friend there with me too

bumble75 · 30/03/2007 21:16

Maveta - fab clip! Very funny, dh just yelled up the stairs to ask what I was cackling about

Hi LuceWheel, am pretty new myself, is lovely (and never dull!) thread!

Am liking the new dates proposed - if I catch the second round of 'B', that would make me a week early which - judging by a couple of people's recent comments about the size of my bump and the likelihood that lo will have giant head - may be a good thing!

Emmymummy · 30/03/2007 21:20

Am off to bed so night all.

PA don't stay up too late!

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:21

yada yada yada

tho i guess it might mean i didn't then sleep all morning

Eddas · 30/03/2007 21:24

Well it's either EAH or my sister. Now my sister would be hilarious to have there, but only for my amusement. I can see fainting, arguing with dh, panicking, and sooo much more.

She missed dd's birth by going off round the world for 6 months and has promised that she will be here as soon as i need her We'll see. She had originally said that she'd come for two weeks, but considering her 'weekend' visits start 6pm sat and end 1pm sun I always doubted that. Mind you that was after a very very teary outburst by me after a conversation with my dad when i told her that no one in my family was around for me when having dd. Well they weren't so it was true!! DH was not impressed by my family. His were sat there for hours just waiting in the waiting room, bless em

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:28

Just posting a quick hello, as I haven't been on in a while (well, been reading most days but no time to post). Congratulations to our six ladies with their eight babies!!!!!!!!! Fab. Keen to know the name of Bubblez's babe, though. And PA - doing a stirling job, as ever.

What else? Oh yeah, welcome Lucewheel - we have had a rash of newbies lately, I suppose due to ML. Talking of which, I FINALLY go properly on ML on Sunday. Whoo-hoo! I only work p/t, and I've not had to do any out-of-the-house parts since 16th, but have still had a lot of REAAAAAAAAALY annoying jobs, quite stressful as it turned out.

MW today. Head 3/5 engaged, apparently. SPD bad. Everyone still happy for me to try for a VBAC. But I don't want the baby to come before the end of next week (am due 22nd), as I am living in a dusty, box-laden hovel at the moment.

DS has decided the loo (any loo, in fact) is the best toy in the world. Sigh.

I missed the controversial thread . You only have to switch your PC on and there's 17 new threads from you gobby lot

All the right vibes to the right people (as in, come out and stay in to the babes),
xx

i'm having 'issues' with mine at the mo.

my bro had said he was around incase i need to leave matthew with him.

my sister (3 hours away) planned her dd's baptism for the weekend i'm due. i kicked up cos that would mean all my family leaving to go there.

it's been changed, but my bros are still going down there.

and the family crib, that has been used for every baby since me, is still there cos my mum kept saying there was no rush.

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:30

i have a copy if you want to read it bugmum

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:31

PA Ordinarily, I'd say ooh, yes please! But if I keep reading old threads, I'll never post on our current ones! Am too old to keep up with you young'uns

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:32

you can't get it on here, i'll email it, it's very short!

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:33

Great, in that case, thank you

GirtWaspbElly · 30/03/2007 21:35

Hmm puts me as 4 days early - but I don't want to have a foolish baby!!

Scarily close though!

Hiya LuceWheel - frindly but definately mad here I think you'll find!

Nellyhel Tesco ice lollies are good, but our local has stoppped selling them SO I've discovered that the Sainsburys ones are even yummier! (BIG, important discovery that!)

Sigh - I didn't buy any today though and so have just eaten my last one

Eddas · 30/03/2007 21:35

Families can be really shite. Mine were great til mum died. Sigh. I speak to my sister more now though but my dad is a totally different person for various reasons but i'm not totally convinced of his new choice of wife. And my brother well he's nearly 21 now and at uni. Feel very bad that he has to live with the step mother though, could not be doing with that we would have a bust up Good job he's so laid back!

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:36

girt

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:37

my bro's live with my dad, they're 16 and 18 tomorrow!

but i'm only 5 mins away so my house is their escape

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:37

I'm very lucky with my family. Every time I see some of the stories on here, I resolve to be nicer to my mum - who is absolutely great, just gets on my nerves through no fault of her own Am horrid person

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:39

it's what mums are for bugmum, it'll be our curse one day

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:39

PA - oh, good point! Hadn't thought of that

Eddas · 30/03/2007 21:41

Do they both have the same bday or did my pg brain read that wrong

Bet they're round your's all the time. Hopefully keeping ds amused for you

thePA · 30/03/2007 21:42

no, the youngest is a christmas day baby

he's rouund here alot, mainly to help me out, he's a very good lad, the older one just comes round when he wants to wash his car or look thro my food cupboards

Eddas · 30/03/2007 21:43

Bugmum, people take their frustrations out on the people they're closest too so your mum should be pleased. That's what i always tell dh anyway

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:45

PA thanks for sending that. Blimey, it all goes on when you're not looking, doesn't it?

bumble75 · 30/03/2007 21:45

Ditto for me Bugmum - my Mum is lovely, just drives me mad sometimes. Think because we don't see each other that often (her and my Dad live in Aus), that when we are in the same hemisphere, she gets a bit over-excited - can imagine she'll be in overdrive when they arrive in 18 days... but also know that'll they'll spoil me and be my slaves... and that I'm super lucky to have parents who will fly across the world to meet their newest grandchild... she still drives me mad though!

Bugmum · 30/03/2007 21:46

Eddas - I'll tell my mum that, then
