Anyone else just got their BFP?

Hi all,
So I can hardly believe it but this morning I got my bfp. I'm very early at 14dpo and it's still quite faint so I don't feel ready just yet to go onto one of the due date boards. Just wondering if anyone else is in my position?

Okay let me download my phone pics to my laptop so I can send it later! Smile xxx

Thanks! How's the sickness for you these days? Mines been pretty bad today, ideal when I have a 9 hour flight on Monday!

Here we go! Eeeek! Saw the little heart going too, absolutely magical! Nausea is easing off ever so slightly, find it helps slightly if I have rice crackers asap after getting up to just have something in my tummy. Struggling to get up much appetite much unlike me and lots of food makes me gag. Most days there's just one specific thing I might be able to manage for tea and the meal plan goes out the window! On Tuesday I came home from a long stressful day at work and just cried because I desperately wanted a pesto pizza. I don't even really like pesto that much! Only managing small portions of everything bit hopefully it's getting better! Good luck with your trip hope all okay. Xxx

Aw so cute! Amazing the size difference in just a week! I'm the same, all I've managed today is a chocolate milkshake and prawn crackers, the most random flavour combinations ever!!

How are you getting on Red and KatieK? X

KatieK79 · 12/06/2017 17:39

Hi,
Nice seeing your photos kittykat and lamchanging :-) they look bigger that I would've expected!

Kittykat, I'm feeling 'reasonable' thanks! I've had a really bad pain in my coccyx since Friday evening. I googled it when I got pins and needles in my butt on Friday which then turned into bruising like pain. Apparently it's hormones relaxing my pelvic floor muscles (which is effectively a big sling holding your insides up!) to make room for the baby. The muscles also support your coccyx so it means it can get out of place and cause pain. I was a bit surprised to get this at just 6 weeks!! Surely I don't need extra space yet?! It's been horrrible over the weekend but it's a lot better today - phew!!

How are you all? x

I've got exactly the same re lower back pain. Been sat on a 9 hour flight which combined with the morning sickness made it horrendous!!

Wow lamchanging that must've been horrendous! I did some stretches (cat and child pose from yoga, and ankle on one knee and lean forward in a chair) which seemed to help. I can't imagine sitting on a plane for 9 hours... even today and it's lots better! At least with being sick would've made you get up and walk about... silver lining?! (Maybe not!)

Iamchanging · 12/06/2017 21:13

Haha unfortunately I was trapped in a window seat so no such luck. Now got a 7 hour wait in the airport before my next flight. Land at 5.00am uk time. In a very grumpy mood!!!!

Wow! I'm not surprised you're grumpy! I would be too! Good luck with that, and good luck with recovery this week too 😬 Happy travels x night night x

How were your travels? I had my booking in on Tuesday, soooooo much information to take in but a really useful appointment. Took about an hour. I've been able to choose the hospital I want and the midwife was brilliant. Need to have blood tests straight away this week or next at hospital and then scan at 13 weeks for me as I'm away at 12 weeks. Lots to think about with screening and everything! How's everyone's symptoms? I think my sickness is starting to lessen slightly which would be great!

Iamchanging · 16/06/2017 15:21

To be honest the travels have half killed me! Had to come home from work with a fever, pounding headache and horrendous throat so going to have a nice relaxing weekend before I fly to China on Monday. I also had my booking in appointment on Thursday, actually made it all feel a bit more real!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their journey, through the worst of the sickness and enjoyed their 12 week scans! Not long till 2nd midwife appointments and then 20 week scans! Xxx
