I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Hi kaydee welcome. Its nice to while away the early weeks on here before you can tell lots of people in RL.

Sorry dog hope you are being looked after. It may not be what you want to hear now but that happened to me in feb and i fell pregnant about 2 weeks after i stopped bleeding. I didn't mean to as such, but felt ready emotionally to try again and it just happened. Like mrsGB says they do say you are really fertile afterwards, and certainly the next 6 months, so hope you are back here soon.

dogdinner · 20/03/2017 12:47

Thanks guys, once the bleeding stops I better get to it!

Im being looked after my dh is being a star I wasn't sure I wanted a 3rd but this has really set in my mind that I do so fingers crossed for next month.
All the best to you all. X

theotherendofthesockportal · 20/03/2017 13:14

I have spots, many spots! I look like a teenager! Is anyone else suffering? Thought we were supposed to glow and be radiant in pregnancy

NoCatsHere · 20/03/2017 13:19

dog this was me last month. this is also (hopefully my 3rd dc) and although i was sure before i became pregnant that i wanted it when i found out i had a wobble. Then when i lost it i was surprised at how upset i was so now it is set in my mind that i definitely want dc3. So hopefully this one will stay put! Love and luck to you. X

stuckinny · 20/03/2017 13:19

I'm so sorry dog. FlowersFlowers I really hope next month is good to you.

Feeling much better today after an exhausting weekend and feeling queasy on top.
First OB appointment is tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping they do a scan just for confirmation as I really don't feel pregnant at all.

NoCatsHere · 20/03/2017 13:20

sock I'm afraid i think the glowing happens later on. I am full of snot and bloated. definitely not glowing. and i think the headaches have set in too....

Foggymist · 20/03/2017 14:03

I never got the glow last time unfortunately! I think that was tied to never really having a bump though, I just looked puffy and tired rather than glowing and pregnant!

@stuckinny it's perfectly normal to not "feel" pregnant, there isn't actually anything to really feel different early on. I'm surprised at my very early round ligament pain but other than that I feel no different. I'm not tired, I look the same, not nauseous, working and exercising as normal. My friend is 6 months pregnant on her second and has had so little symptoms she says that if it wasn't for the bump she'd forget she was pregnant.

Mummyagainmaybe · 20/03/2017 14:31

Really sorry dog. Big hug x

stuckinny · 20/03/2017 14:34

Foggy for DS I had no symptoms. Even at the end when I was the size of a house I still didn't feel any different.
I'm definitely tired this time but I think it may be more to do with having a lot going on than actually being pregnant.
Exercising is taking more out of me and I definitely feel like I've worked harder than I have. I have a few races coming up next month so I'm trying to get to the gym more rather than do my usual winging it.

Foggymist · 20/03/2017 15:03

I have been dossing a bit ok a lot on fitness recently, due to being busy, lazy, a hip injury, and a million other excuses. I'm going to use these first few weeks to get fitter and not put on any excess/needless weight.

Mummyagainmaybe · 20/03/2017 15:24

Been a bit worried about being out of shape myself for the start of a pregnancy. Hope to tune my muscles up a bit. Had terrible PGP at the end last time. Was on crutches.

HopingForALittleOne · 20/03/2017 16:47

Dog big hug sorry to hear this I've been there and it's horrible. Fingers crossed you will be back to join us soon xx

noelle85 · 20/03/2017 19:30

Went to the doctors today, feels strange that they don't re-test but I suppose the half dozen tests that I did can't all be wrong 🙈 I'm either 4+3 or 9+3.....still doesn't feel real. Where any of you given the flu vaccine?

Stuckinstressville · 20/03/2017 20:24

Primera I also have hypothyroidism a developed postpartum 8 months ago when my tsh was 103! On meds as well. I had a mmc in December but I had already had extra blood tests by 8 weeks as they keep a careful watch to ensure it is under 1.5 or something - def read the nice guidelines and take with you as
Many gps and midwives don't know the guidelines. My consultant told me to be quite forceful as unmanaged it is a risk factor.

No symtoms here but I didn't get ms until 6/7 weeks with my ds1.

Bluebell101 · 20/03/2017 20:32

Primera and Stuckinstressville I am hypothyroid too and agree about looking at the guidelines yourself as last time my midwives had no idea. I was under consultant care to monitor it and the pregnancy was completely uneventful so hoping for the same again. Worth checking with your doctor about upping your meds as they put mine up 25mg a day immediately when I found out (which I believe is standard) and did bloods every month to monitor.

AGnu · 20/03/2017 22:30

For those looking to do a bit of exercise, Zumba is recommended as safe during pregnancy. I can confirm, though, that if your breasts are sensitive then Zumba can be rather painful & it's apparently easy to overdo it a bit to the point where you feel like you have to tell your friend, just so someone knows in case you faint! Good fun though! Grin

I woke up earlier than usual this morning, even before my kids, because I was just that hungry. The only time I stopped eating today was while Zumba-ing. That was until I fell asleep at 4pm. Thankfully my kids behaved themselves & played in their room most of the time until DH got home. I must've slept on & off for about 3 hours before DH made me eat. Weirdly, I wasn't hungry! Am in bed now & have a little pot of pretzels to get me through the night. I couldn't finish my dinner so I fully expect to wake up at 4am feeling hungry/sick!

Ha yes I recall the tiredness from last pregnancy! I however lose my appetite! Which is helpful as I am seeing a dietician and am on a strict 1500 cal diet to lose weight as my bmi hit 29.7 due to my thyroid issues post pregnancy huge weight gain that was bigger than the weight I put on pregnant!
I did go spinning on holiday last week and felt fab after! I was so active last time and felt it helped me in labour as was fit(ish) despite a lot of back pain and physio!

PrimeraVez · 21/03/2017 09:08

Happy to have some thyroid company stuck and bluebelle

I'm lucky in that I have private healthcare (I'm an expat) and so see a fab endocrinologist every 6-8 weeks for monitoring. I emailed her yesterday to let her know I had got my BFP and she had me in the same day for a blood test, so I'm expecting a call from her to let me know if we need to adjust my dose. I'm on 125mg at the moment and about 4 weeks ago my TSH was 0.97 so it will be interesting to see if it's changed already!

Kaydee2017 · 21/03/2017 12:10

Hi all - hope everyone is ok! Just a quick question, I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday, has everyone booked their doctors / midwife appointment yet??

Kristen83 · 21/03/2017 12:40

Hi Kaydee,
Yes I have, I am seeing the doctor on Friday who should then refer me to my midwife.

theotherendofthesockportal · 21/03/2017 12:45

I'm 5 weeks today according to Ovia, and for the past two days I've been hit with waves of nausea at 11am which lasts around an hour.

How is everyone else keeping the sickness at bay? And if you are sick does it make you feel better after you are physically sick?

Foggymist · 21/03/2017 13:33

Most people don't feel better after vomiting, or if they do it's not for long. Because it's hormones making you feel sick rather than something dodgy you ate your body doesn't feel any better once the foods gone.

Stuckinstressville · 21/03/2017 14:06

Booking is normally about 8-9 weeks where I am - south London/ St. George's .

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 21/03/2017 14:14

I'll be 7+4 at my booking in Cheshire. I think that's normal for around here

HopingForALittleOne · 21/03/2017 14:38

I rang the number for midwives yesterday at 5 weeks and got a booking in app at 9 weeks. Not being sick yet but worried about it as I've got sciatica at the moment and I think the force of being sick will kill my leg with pain... Confused
