Hi everyone. Have been reading about tax credit changes for 3rd children that will be implemented from 6th April:
"The Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016 restricts the number of children or qualifying young persons in respect of whom the Child Element in Universal Credit and the Individual Child Element in Child Tax Credit is payable to a maximum of two".
I haven't heard many people talking about it but it must be a worry for anyone expecting their third child around this time. There are some exemptions, details are here;
