Hello All! I'm not on fb, so this is my only way to keep in touch. Can't believe i will be 24wks on Weds :) things are finally starting to feel real now and i am already getting really big! God knows what i will be like full term! Little one kicking loads and they are getting stronger every day, i find it reassuring. Counting down the days until maternity leave starts, 93 to go! Lol
Not feeling too tired, just struggling with spd, so night time is an uncomfortable event!
Glad everyones doing ok Flowers

CheckTheGreen · 28/02/2017 10:14

Hi all new peeps,
I'm 27.3 now - feel and look huge! Twins are kicking up a storm!!
I've added a bump pic 😊

phoebe2016 · 02/03/2017 07:09

Thanks Check, i am considering booking tomorrow off work, had such a bad night last night. SPD pain was terrible. Feeling shattered :(

Mum - great bump pic! Glad things are going well for you. My bumps big too now and i only have a singleton in there! Lol

MissisBee · 02/03/2017 22:22

That's a fab bump! 25 weeks today, 11 weeks and a day left at work.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/03/2017 08:10

I've not been on the thread for a while but just popping in to update - I'm currently 25+3 and bloody huge already. I'm going to pick up the double pram this morning, not sure where we are going to keep not for he next 3 months. I better get listing the single pushchair for sale to free up some space.

phoebe2016 · 07/03/2017 12:18

Glad all is going well for you Six. Do you know the babys sex? I am 24 + 6 today and have a sizeable bump now. I am struggling with the old SPD and awful indigestion, makes me feel so sick. I have pulled my ML start date forward, so i finish work on 19th May now and I can't bloody wait!! Been busy making sure we have everything we need for the baby, picked up a cot from Ebay yesterday and have ordered a new mattress. Feels good to be getting organised. Whooping cough jab tomorrow, don't like needles but it's for the greater good! Lol

Sixisthemagicnumber · 07/03/2017 12:21

Were having a boy phoebe so we will have a house full of boys Smile. I'd forgotten all about the whooping cough jab - another thing to add to my list.

phoebe2016 · 07/03/2017 14:56

We will have 3 boys and 3 girls once lo arrives (a mix of my biological & step kids). Yeah, id forgotten about whooping cough jab too, the mw reminded me when i went last week 🙄.

Sixisthemagicnumber · 08/03/2017 08:27

We will be 4 boys phoebe, 2 of them are teenagers and one is a toddler. I'm really enjoying having a little one in the house again but I feel it is going to be incredibly hard with a newborn added into the mix.

PoochiePie · 08/03/2017 17:58

26+2/40 today! Had my 25 week midwife appointment, took her a solid 10 minutes to find a heartbeat - everytime she did he kicked her and rolled away! Can see I'm going to have a stubborn baby - honestly don't know where he gets that from 😇
Can't believe how close it's getting now!

Walkerbean16 · 09/03/2017 18:09

Third trimester today! 28 weeks, on the home stretch now! I went and bought my pram yesterday and was very cheeky saying I wasn't buying without a discount and they gave me a.voucher for 10% off everything in mothercare. It's only available until this Sunday the 12th so if anybody needs it it's worth an ask!

Hope you are all well xx

MumofthreeandBean · 10/03/2017 03:55

I had my28 week scan yesterday, all good, girl head down measuring 2.6lbs, boy breech measuring 2.15lbs.
Started my injections for blood clots, one a day until babies are 6 weeks old.

Told consultant I'm anxious as my twin was stillborn, he reassured me that the twins are looking excellent and he has no worries.

My gtt was normal 😀 But my platelets are low (28weeks bloods) he's going to recheck at 32 weeks.

28.4

phoebe2016 · 10/03/2017 08:46

Glad all is well Mum. It's a struggle carrying one baby, it must be much harder with two! I don't envy you having to do the injections, but I suppose you will get used to it over time. I am 25+2 now and have decided to start my maternity leave a few weeks earlier than originally planned, will now be at 35wks. SPD is being a Bitch and causes me many painful, sleepless nights. It will be so nice to not have to drag myself in to work, i will be able to drop kids off at school and go home to rest instead. I am getting excited about the prospect of meeting our lo, wondering what she will look like etc. DH is even more protective than usual, which is nice Smile

phoebe2016 · 10/03/2017 08:47

Thanks Walker, which pram did you go for?

MumofthreeandBean · 10/03/2017 14:53

I am winding down my work, I will be completely finished on march 30th - thank goodness! My job is hard work sometimes and I am struggling and have been for a while now.

ymmv · 10/03/2017 16:55

I'm assembling and installing cupboard inserts for Kallax. Is this nesting?

phoebe2016 · 10/03/2017 20:02

I don't blame you Mum, it's hard enough lugging yourself about, without work too! I am literally counting down the days now, until i finish. Sat on sofa with my feet raised atm to try and get the swelling in my feet down, they feel so tight :(

WellieWanger · 11/03/2017 06:57

Oh Hello!
I haven't looked at a baby board since I had a bleed early on but 24+5 now and he is still there. Congratulations to you all.
I am empathising with those who also have pgp-not fun I know as I have had it both times. I am also suffering with suspected low blood sugar so every day will have weird episodes of being in some parallel universe which is very unsettling so hopefully can get fixed up this week. Can't wait to meet baby. Although, he is currently nameless!

MumofthreeandBean · 11/03/2017 07:26

Yes we have 2 nameless babies to welcome to the world! We have a couple of ideas but nothing we can commit to, it's very hard naming twins!!!

WellieWanger · 11/03/2017 11:25

I bet it is mumofthreeandbean. Our DC1 has a very unusual name so we are finding it hard. I suppose with twins you want names that suit but nothing too matchy matchy.
