Any joiners?

This will be dc2. Edd of July 2nd.

Not one symptom yet. Going to enjoy that and hope it lasts!

And my nausea is back! Just as I'd told DH I was feeling loads better and he was allowed to cook a curry for dinner. Back to the jacket potatoes tomorrow, sigh

Seahawk80 · 24/11/2016 22:57

In fact just had my first puke. Am reassured now and ready for the nausea to go again!

Glitterbandit · 24/11/2016 23:38

I've just asked to be added to the FB group. I feel SO sick tonight and I have a non-pregnancy related hospital appt tomorrow. I hope I don't have to wait for hours!!!

whycanineverthinkofausername · 25/11/2016 01:01

Luci- I've had painful cramping mostly in my left size almost since I found out. I tried to tell my doctor on Monday but she wasn't interested apparently it's normal. I'm still worried it may be eptopic but I've got my fingers crossed I'm just suffering for the little one.

DrewOB0 · 25/11/2016 06:49

I have bad cramping too. Apparently it's the cyst that the egg came out producing progesterone. It's meant to get better by 12 weeks

whyistherumgone · 25/11/2016 08:34

Morning all how's everyone feeling today?

I had horribly vivid scan dreams last night so not feeling particularly well rested. Not feeling sick tho so maybe yesterday was a blip!

Hope you're all good, I've got my booking appointment today - I mentioned to my doctor who referred me that my cycles are a bit erratic (anything from 28 to 35 days) and she didn't seem bothered but should I mention this to the midwife do you think?

purplebella · 25/11/2016 09:20

whycani I'm glad you mentioned about the left pain, that's what I have most of the time so you've reassured me thanks!

LuciBee231015 · 25/11/2016 09:35

I had left pain for the first part and lasted until about 5 weeks. This pain was low and smack bang in the middle... That's why I was concerned. I've not had it before and made me feel unwell. No sign of it yet today tho so fingers crossed it was my uterus stretching or something

danigrace · 25/11/2016 10:28

Luci I've found my tummy is much more sensitive than usual with foods I'm eating, could it be something you had with lunch that caused it?

[raises hand] another with weird sporadic left pain!
5+3 today and had my first wave of nausea yesterday, walking outside and taking deep breaths of the freezing cold air seemed to help! Boobs getting ridiculous, I'm paranoid they're getting that big they're going to droop, but I guess I need to resign to never having pre-preg boobs again!!

I'm another who quite likes how sex feels now, different but good. DH commented that it feels weird in there, like shorter and harder, and then laughed at me when I was pleased I had another confirmed pregnancy symptom lol

purplebella · 25/11/2016 12:20

What's going on with the left pain?! Why are so many of us getting it?! Mine goes all down my leg sometimes, it's actually what made me think I wouldn't get a bfp cos I used to get it when I was due AF!

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 25/11/2016 12:29

My cramping has been on the right hand side mainly, sonographer said my baby had implanted on the right side of my womb ☺️

purplebella · 25/11/2016 12:36

That sounds reasonable then damson, maybe mine has implanted to the left Hmm

danigrace · 25/11/2016 12:55

That's pretty cool if that is the case, feeling our lefty or righty babies Grin

whyistherumgone · 25/11/2016 13:00

Is anyone 6weeks+ without sickness?

I had the weird left pain for a while at the beginning, seems to have eased off a bit now minus the odd twinge after I've eaten.

em165 · 25/11/2016 13:19

why - im 6 weeks on sunday and (touch wood!) im not really suffering from many symptoms yet. In my last pregnancy I was already feeling super exhausted and nauseous by this time but at the moment I just get the occasional wave of sickness and feel a little more tired.

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 25/11/2016 13:20

I haven't had any sickness at all Rum, lots of other weird symptoms though so I'm not too worried!

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 25/11/2016 13:21

Oh and I'm 8+5 today.

Notyetthere · 25/11/2016 13:39

Danigrace Yes it is nicer! Until the nausea, bloatedness, general sick feeling kicked in and the last thing I want any action. I feel sorry for my DH. I worry that I might be sick on him halfway through Blush

Ctupp · 25/11/2016 15:25

rum I've not yet had any sickness and I'm 6+3. Feeling very sick but not actually been sick yet. Is anyone getting an increase in discharge? (TIM?!) mine has been a very light peachy colour, had it consistently since I had my bfp, not sure whether to right the midwife?

LuciBee231015 · 25/11/2016 15:55

Ctupp, I've had an increase in discharge, mines been the same colour since a few days before I got my bfp too. It's a slight yellowish colour, everything else about it is normal though. As long as you don't have any itching burning or funny smells your good.

whyistherumgone · 25/11/2016 17:48

Thanks for the reassurance.

I had my booking appointment today - was really long but I really like my midwife. She made me feel a lot better about my anxieties and weirdly just having the notes has made me feel more in control.
She wasn't worried about my lack of really obvious symptoms either (ie feeling sick/sickness) and told me if I have any kind of bleeding that lasts more than a day to go to A&E (This is not to panic anyone, she said every region works differently and this is just the quickest way to be referred to the EPU at my maternity hospital if I have a concern).

I hope you're all having a good evening and that, if you're suffering with sickness, it's not too bad.
Sounds vile but she said if I do get sickness, make ginger tea with raw ginger.

crombanna · 25/11/2016 18:10

Another with left sided pain!! I'm sure it's where the egg implanted. I had to take paracetamol a few times from 4-6 weeks, and it woke me up a few times in the early days.

7+1 today. The brownish spotting continued the other night so I went to EPU in the morning (self referral! Unbelievably lucky to be able to access that service). Saw an embryo and a heartbeat. Crazy. The woman kept laughing at me because I said, with tears rolling down my face.."but I don't feel pregnant!!".

Today, I do! Feeling nauseous, hungry yet sick, tired, boobs killing. Lots of heavy sighing.

whyistherumgone · 25/11/2016 18:36

oh crombanna that's great news and I understand how you feel completely about the not feeling pregnant. That must have been amazing, so pleased for you.

Spindelina · 25/11/2016 19:14

Hello. Can I quietly sidle up to this thread? It's the third antenatal thread I've joined this year (Nov 16 and March 16 being the other two), and I'm getting very bored of being in the first trimester.

Given recent history, I've been a bit unwilling to get too excited, but I went for an early scan today and saw a heartbeat Grin so I'm feeling optimistic.

EDD based on LMP is 19th July. This will be DC2; DD will be 5 on 24th July Shock but she was 12 days late so hoping I make it well past her birthday!
