I completely forgot about this thread. I've just been using the fb group.
I've got my repeat scan at the epu tomorrow. Last time they could see the sac but couldn't see a the baby so I'm hoping everything is ok. Although with how bad my sickness is id be amazed if it wasn't!

whyistherumgone · 24/11/2016 15:02

how far are you sparkle

purplebella · 24/11/2016 15:24

Good luck for tomorrow *sparkle

Seahawk80 · 24/11/2016 15:28

Good luck sparkle!!

amorita · 24/11/2016 15:29

Rum Its just doing my head in to be honest. First world problem et al.

Hope all goes well Sparkle but yes the sickness (for once) must be a good thing.

LetMeHaveABloodyName · 24/11/2016 16:07

stress There will be 21-22 months between mine. I wanted a smaller age gap. My friend will have a newborn when her DS is 18 months but I didn't start trying until he turned 1 so I'm quite happy with that gap!
Hope I can cope Blush love DS more than anything though & cant believe I'm going to have another. Keep looking at him thinking "you're going to have a baby brother or sister soon" & tearing up. Hormones!

LetMeHaveABloodyName · 24/11/2016 16:08

GOOd luck sparkle
How do I join the fb group?

whycanineverthinkofausername · 24/11/2016 16:12

Good luck sparkle! I didn't even think about the Facebook groups either! Is it hidden? As not really anyone knows at the mo!

sparkle789 · 24/11/2016 16:14

I messaged someone one here but I can't remember her username. It should be on a post near the start of the thread.

I'm not sure how far along I am. Came of the pill early sept and didn't have a period before getting pregnant. If all is well and it was just to early to see anything I'm prob around 6 or 7 weeks now.

LetMeHaveABloodyName · 24/11/2016 16:32

I've added her as a friend now so hopefully I'll see you on there!
Loved the facebook group with DS, I struggle to keep up with all the posts on mumsnet!

LetMeHaveABloodyName · 24/11/2016 16:35

whycan they are usually secret groups so nobody on your friends list can see them - invite only

Popularcontrarian · 24/11/2016 17:01

stress and LetMeHaveABloodyName sends an unmumsnetty wave! My DS is 13 months so there'll be a 21 month age gap between the two. If i didn't MC in September I would've had an 18 month age gap!

It's what I always wanted. Can't figure out if we're completely mad though, time will soon tell! I'm definitely not going to beat myself up as much this time round. I put so much pressure on myself last time, particularly with exclusive bf. I ebf for 6 months and held off on solids til 21 weeks and in hindsight it nearly killed me! I'll be much more confident in my choices this time I think.

Mouse14 · 24/11/2016 18:06

Good luck Sparkle! So Just told OH about all of your private scans and he agreed it would be a good thing before Christmas and our ski trip. However now I'm worried that it would just fuel my anxiety as I only had an emergency scan last week and all was looking good for 5.5 weeks. So if I go for another to put my mind at rest, where would it end?! Maybe sitting back and enjoying the ride with a positive frame of mind is the key?

Just off for an annual pre-Christmas catch up with my parents (they know) and best friend and her parents. Already played the 'antibiotics' card so hopefully that'll put them off the scent...

How do we get on to the FB group? (Sorry if someone has said!) Grin

LuciBee231015 · 24/11/2016 18:42

So I had some pain this afternoon ladies. Started when I was eating my lunch and then came and went throughout the afternoon. I kept going to the toilet to check for bleeding. Came home from work about 3.30 and went straight to bed. It seems to have died down a bit but still there... I'm scared now. I'm off work tomorrow so going to chill for the day.

Not sure what it could be at 8+5 apart from thinking the worst! 😥

Seahawk80 · 24/11/2016 19:09

Hope you feel better Luci no bleeding must be a good sign. It could just be things stretching down there. I still get the odd cramp but have ignored them as no bleeding. Fx for you x

LetMeHaveABloodyName · 24/11/2016 19:20

For the FB group - I added the name on there & sent her a message to ask to add me to the group x

wildone81 · 24/11/2016 21:02

Question for you ladies...if you don't mind me asking? Anyone DTD since getting BFP? It's not really been on the agenda given the constant nausea but I'm not sure if being a little bit freaked out by the idea is any any way normal......

parsnips82 · 24/11/2016 21:11

Hi ladies!
Just to make me feel better is anyone else totally exhausted? I am 6 weeks and could fall asleep at any point in the day! How on earth do you ladies do it with other children?
Feel like my oh must think I am a total wimp!

And for your lovely table nothereyet I am due on the 23rd, but going for my 6 week scan on Monday so they may change that!

LuciBee231015 · 24/11/2016 21:29

Wildone, I haven't dtd since my bfp. I just can't even think about it at the moment... I feel so rough all the time.

purplebella · 24/11/2016 21:29

Yes parsnips! I've just got into bed!! I have only done 4hr shifts this week and I'm knackered!

Miami81 · 24/11/2016 21:36

Wildone we have dtd. Not as much as normal (because every weeknight I have been in bed 2 hrs before him). A nice couple of weekend mornings though. Think all the extra blood flow has made me a very enthusiastic participant!! I was a bit freaked out at first but we had a chat about it and agreed if I felt weird at all that we would just stop which made me feel much better. But just go with what you feel.

mummycaitlin · 24/11/2016 21:36

I've requested to join the FB group. I LOVE the FB group I'm on for DS1 which started as the thread here too. It's literally been a lifeline for me and I've made so many lifelong friends.

I feel horrendous today, the worst nausea so far, 7+5. I've wanted to cry at everything today and everything seems to be going wrong. The advert with the tiger is enough to send me over edge!

I've been having some stiff pains in the evenings but I think it's just everything moving around and tightening, my tummy does feel a bit different today, slightly harder?

I'm suffering with terrible carpal tunnel syndrome whilst I'm sleeping, it's making for a really restless nights sleep. I didn't have it until the third trimester with DS1 and it's driving me up the wall!

em165 · 24/11/2016 21:47

Stuck, there will be 23 months between my little boy and this one! I returned from maternity leave in September... also not looking forward to telling work i'm off again soon. Oops!

em165 · 24/11/2016 21:48

How do I join the facebook group? I love the other one i'm on :)
