Miami81 · 12/11/2016 07:18

Lucibee my booking in is also the 2nd Dec. The midwife does a clinic at my GP that day so i assume that is why that day. I will be 8w + 3 on that day.

LuciBee231015 · 12/11/2016 08:30

Yeah mines at my surgery too. I'll be 10 weeks by then! I'm 7 weeks today!

Sasspop · 12/11/2016 09:57

Oh it would kill me waiting until 10 weeks I feel like being booked might make it feel more real for ma haha.. Mine is at my home and I'll be 7+2 x

Seahawk80 · 12/11/2016 10:00

How's everyone doing? I'm feeling a bit low today, boobs feel less sore and so far don't feel that sick. Spotting has stopped though and I do generally feel worse later in the day. I also did a test this morning and didn't get as strong a line as last time. Although a quick Google did seem to say that this is normal as you get further along. I'm just feeling a bit sorry for myself and really want to know if things are ok or not. Tuesday is feeling a long way away atm.

Need to find a rainy day activity to keep me away from Google!

Sasspop · 12/11/2016 10:31

Seahawk.. Sorry to hear your feeling low. I think it's normal for symptoms to come and go, my boobs are feeling less sore the last couple of days aswell and I don't really have any other symptoms the cramping has stopped. Hopefully Tuesday will come around fast for you but until then enjoy being pregnant, that positive line was still there! Flowers

Miami81 · 12/11/2016 10:34

Seahawk. Poor you, i think symptoms definitely go up and down by the day! Try not to dwell on it too much. I had a Mmc in April and this time round I am trying to just relax and not worry too much. Absolutely nothing we can do to affect the outcome unfortunately. I must say that is the most frustrating thing about it all. Be kind to yourself and listen to your body.
To distract myself today I am hanging pictures, sorting out curtains and going shopping for a washer/dryer. Also need to frame some pictures! We are thinking cinema later on.

Seahawk80 · 12/11/2016 10:46

Thanks guys, we're going to head out so that I'm not tempted to wallow and google! Also arranged to see one of my best friends while DH is working tomorrow. I won't tell her yet so I won't be able to talk about it!

Hopefully later on I'll be laid on the sofa struggling to keep my dinner down Grin

Seahawk80 · 12/11/2016 10:51

And Sasspop you're right about enjoying it - I was so tempted to book a private scan for today but decided not to as apart from being a waste of money although good news would be amazing bad news would ruin my weekend and then I'd have to wait until at least mon to go to the epu and find out what to do next as the private acans can't give you treatment. Apart from the spotting, which has stopped there is no reason for anything to be wrong. It's so hard!!!

glasshalfsomething · 12/11/2016 11:03

Did anyone clarify on eggs? Apparently from Jan this year, it's fine to eat them runny as long as they res tractor branded and in date (obvs).

Is anyone else's cramping quite uncomfortable? I'm 5d+3 and they settle in around 8 every night! I wasn't sure at the start if it was an ET side effect, or from my post transfer meds?

Miami81 · 12/11/2016 11:09

Glass I do have pretty bad cramping. And sore boobs. So far that is all the symptoms I have.
The cramping is normal apparently. My sister who has 4 dc reckons she had really bad cramping with each one all the way through the full first trimester.

Miami81 · 12/11/2016 11:14

On eggs. Nhs guidance seems like it is unchanged i.e. No runny.
But lots and lots of articles from independent, guardian etc saying that the risk of salmonella is now so low that they are even safe for pregnant women.
Maybe a judgement call for you. Don't think I will be eating raw eggs anytime soon, but will maybe leave my fried egg slightly less firm in future!!
I am already tired of the list of banned food. Although the NHS cheese guidance is better now.

Sasspop · 12/11/2016 11:25

Yeah I agree the nhs guidance is not too bad now there's only a few things to avoid, they defo still recommend well cooked eggs tho. My cramps were quite bad when I was getting them and they were usually morning and night not throughout the day.. They seem to have stopped today tho x

kimmy878 · 12/11/2016 12:57

Hey ladies I haven't been on for a while is anyone else extremely tired? I'm 7 weeks today and all I wanna do is sleep x

Popularcontrarian · 12/11/2016 13:27

Hello everyone, congrats on the BFPs.
I'm totally jealous of the symptoms some of you are having. The only thing I have is a bit of reflux, but I'm starting to think it's getting better and maybe I'm having another MC! I still have my referral letter for the EPU but not going to make the appointment until I'm 6 weeks as I want to make sure they'll be able to see a heartbeat. No point in getting one earlier really.

I'm 4+5 today so I know it's early days and I should just lighten up but arghhhhh, it's so hard not to analyse every little thing. I'm the same as you MrsBobDylan I'm generally like 'lalala everything is wonderful' and then randomly out of nowhere it's 'fuuuuuuckkkk, I'm so worried, help!'

As for food I'm avoiding, I was quite relaxed on it the last time and I'm going to continue the same this time round apart from no more than 1 cup of coffee a day.

OohNoDooEy · 12/11/2016 14:10

kimmy yes!! Just had a nap in fact

glasshalfsomething · 12/11/2016 15:53

miami that's reassuring to know about cramps, so thank you.

I'm generally like 'lalala everything is wonderful' and then randomly out of nowhere it's 'fuuuuuuckkkk, I'm so worried, help!'

^^this is so true

purplebella · 12/11/2016 16:01

I nearly fell asleep this afternoon! I'm feeling very lazy, very grumpy and breasticles are getting sore! Very twingy uterus tooHmm

LuciBee231015 · 12/11/2016 16:20

I'm 7 weeks today too. And soooo tired today. I have had sickness every morning and kind of throughout the day since Wednesday. Hopefully it doesn't last too long!

Sasspop · 12/11/2016 16:45

I'm feeling really short of breath really easily, like if I'm talking to much or walk too quick, I'm pretty fit I go gym 2-3 times a week so I'm thinking maybe my iron is low.. Anyone else have this?

LuciBee231015 · 12/11/2016 17:55

Sass I have that too!!!

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 12/11/2016 17:56

Evening ladies. Hope we are all well.
seahawk I hope you managed to distract yourself.
I'm on my way to work (I work night shifts) and before pregnancy would drink about 7-8 coffees through the night, obviously I'm now on the decaf. But I left my jar in the kitchen at home, I'm not happy! 😢 So I can't even have my crappy fake coffee to get me through a night at the job I hate!

Sasspop · 12/11/2016 18:03

Do you luci, I reckon it's low iron.. I've started pragnacare instead of just the folic acid and vit d I was taking.. The pregnacare has some iron in so hoping it'll start to improve x

LuciBee231015 · 12/11/2016 19:11

I did a bit of googling and it says it's normal. Something to do with increased blood flow and heart working harder etc.

Oh damson!

Seahawk80 · 12/11/2016 19:22

Thanks damson oh no that sounds like it will be a long night!

I'm feeling okish. I don't feel as sick as usual but then I've had a really lazy day. As usual in the evening I don't feel like I want any food and feel a bit meh so hopefully that's a good sign. Two days to go now!
