I hope everything is ok tomorrow damson

Knittinggurl · 08/11/2016 18:56

Hi everyone, my EDD is July 6th. I am 38 and this is my first pregnancy so not really sure how to feel at the moment....just hoping desperately that my bean stays in there......!

GreenRedBlue · 08/11/2016 19:18

Hi everyone can I join in too? My EDD is 9th July and this will be DC2 . I have a gorgeous 17mo Ds from our first go at ivf two years so we went back for another go and amazingly got another bfp!

It's strange reading about your symptoms though as I really don't feel I have any yet other than odd crampy feelings every now and then. That and my cat has started snuggling up to my belly everytime I sit down - she did this last time too I think she was first to know!

I haven't been to see my GP yet as I haven't been discharged from my clinic yet but do you think it helps to get on the midwife list early as I really want our 12week scan pre-xmas so we can tell everyone on Xmas day? Does anyone know if it works like that or is it just based on due dates?

wildone81 · 08/11/2016 21:18

I think it works on due dates greenredblue. My EDD's also the 9th and they won't do my scan till I'm into week 12 on 28th December :(

GreenRedBlue · 08/11/2016 21:40

Thanks wildone. Ah I thought that might be the case. Hmm maybe we'll be close enough and I'll tell everyone anyway before the scan

Popularcontrarian · 08/11/2016 22:12

Best of luck tomorrow Damson, hopefully they can put your mind at ease.

I was at the doctor this evening and I got a letter of referral for the EPU. I want them to check my dates as I hadn't a period since my mc in September. Reckon I'll hold off another two weeks before making the appointment as I think I'll be 6 weeks then. I'm pretty sure I'm about 4 weeks as I was using opks but this way I get an early scan! Bit cheeky but yay!

MrsBobDylan · 08/11/2016 22:48

How are you doing Damson?Thinking of you and hoping all is well at tomorrow's scan.

Hello to new bfps!

I'm still worrying about risks due to my age and the fact that this will be my 4th section. I panicked all bloody day today, before getting a grip this eveningGrin.

Like others my symptoms come and go - I have a scan on Friday which is good.

I think I'll do the harmony test too - have never do that in previous pregnancies but it would be nice to have that knowledge.

crombanna · 09/11/2016 06:44

Thinking of you today Damson. Glad your partner will be with you. It's shit not knowing or being able to control what's going on at this stage.

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 09/11/2016 06:50

Thanks. Been up since 4:30. But that's been my usual wake up time these last few weeks. Having a good drink of juice to fill my veins up so it'll be easier to get my bloods, I've terrible veins. Waterproof mascara applied. Tissues in pocket. I may as well be practical. Will update later. Hope you ladies have a good day.

Seahawk80 · 09/11/2016 07:00

Good luck Damson, thinking of you

LuciBee231015 · 09/11/2016 07:06

Good luck Damson 😘

GreenRedBlue · 09/11/2016 07:09

Oh good luck Damson, thinking of you this morning

Sasspop · 09/11/2016 07:44

Good luck damson X

Does anyone else have trouble sleeping already? Breasts are so tender I'm awake every time I change position as it hurts. Also getting a lot of stomach ache every day, I'd describe it as more like bad belly stomach ache rather than period like cramps?

fluffandsnuff · 09/11/2016 08:09

Nooo! Forgot about week 0. That makes my scan after Christmas too!

The sausage cravings are still going- only now I can't fit into my work trousers 😂

Sasspop- I've had a bit of stomachache too x

Damson- Flowers xx

Dottyb21 · 09/11/2016 09:16

Sasspop - yeah I have had stomach ache symptoms too - although I am thinking (without providing too much info) it is more like trapped wind!! xx

Popularcontrarian · 09/11/2016 09:54

Zero symptoms here and slightly concerned as my last pregnancy ended in MC.

Still very early days though.

LuciBee231015 · 09/11/2016 10:02

6+4 today...I've had a bit of a funny belly the last 2 days too. Feel like I have an upset stomach.

Sass, I bought a sports bra to sleep it and it's worked a treat. I had the same thing with boobs hurting every time I moved.
My boobs are still tender but it seems to have eased off quite a bit now.

Woke up fine this morning but about 9am started to feel really sick. Managed about 4 spoons on cereal and had to stop. Just deep breathing and trying to ride it out. First time feeling sick for me.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 09/11/2016 10:03

How far gone are you?! I'm 5+5 and I only have tender boobs xx

Popularcontrarian · 09/11/2016 10:12

I'm only 4+3 (I think). I can't really remember from my DS but I think I only started to feel pregnant about 7/8 weeks

Sasspop · 09/11/2016 10:15

Dotty I'm also starting to think it might be trapped wind, I have had more wins than usual!

Luci I have had to buy some comfy sports bras to wear in the day so I will defo try having one on for bed tonight, thank you!

Littlemisssugarplum I am only 5 +1 but the tender breasts started a week before AF was due (haven't got better or worse) I seem to have loads of symptoms for this early in starting to wonder if my last AF which was pretty light was actually AF Hmm

Pop321 · 09/11/2016 10:17

Pupularcontrarian, not everyone has symptoms and it's still early days.. I understand how your feeling tho, I keep questioning whether this is real and whether it's going to last because I've never been pregnant before

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 09/11/2016 10:21

So many of my friends started with sickness before their AF was actually due so I started worrying that there is something wrong but I haven't had any bleeding so I'm just going to enjoy feeling great for the time being xx

Sasspop · 09/11/2016 10:25

Definitely enjoy feeling great, hopefully u will be one of these women who feels great thoughout! I'll certainly be jealous haha!

Popularcontrarian · 09/11/2016 10:55

Assuming everything is going well and the little bean is growing away, I highly doubt I'll be one of those women that has an easy pregnancy as I had an awful time with DS. Had such bad reflux and SPD.

The only thing I think that might suggest I'm pregnant (other than a positive test) is that I think the reflux is starting already! Dreading what SPD might be like now that I have a toddler that needs to be picked up all the time.

Ah the joys! worth it though :)

MrsBobDylan · 09/11/2016 11:12

For those feeling uncomfortable when they sleep, those really long pillows are good and a bit like having someone to cuddle who doesn't sweat or snore...win win!

Have just ordered mine off TK Maxx online to not too expensive either.
