Any joiners?

This will be dc2. Edd of July 2nd.

Not one symptom yet. Going to enjoy that and hope it lasts!

2.4mm! Not 2.4m! I promise we are not giants

Hi can I join please? I got a bfp this morning so due date about 14th July. I've not had a great year ttc, started in January, got pregnant in March but had a mmc in June. Had surgical management and turned out it was partial molar pregnancy. Had to have monitoring for three months and got the all clear at the end of September, so have now got pregnant in the first cycle after that.

I'm a bit worried it will be another molar pregnancy as chances are 10 times higher for me now (1 in 100 vs 1 in 1000). And timing is terrible, no drinking to celebrate my birthday, Christmas and new year, and if this one makes it to term it will be born in the last week of the summer term before the holidays. As I'm a teacher that means I pretty much lose 6 weeks of full pay maternity leave, as I would have 6 weeks off anyway! I was aiming for a September baby, but as it turns out you can't really plan for these things!

But as frustrating as all seems right now I'm really excited that finally we might be on track for our first baby, and have got everything crossed that this one is a healthy one Smile

LuciBee231015 · 07/11/2016 18:59

Congrats Katonic and sorry about the mmc, fingers crossed for you this time 😊

I'm so shit scared about my 12 week scan, worrying that everything is ok... Tempted to book a private one before that but think DH will think I'm being crazy

wildone81 · 07/11/2016 19:12

Well I've just booked a private scan, if it's any help to anyone thinking of doing the same. Booked it for when I'll be 9 weeks, so far enough on for us to see something. Just wanted a bit of reassurance and so we can tell people over Christmas if they start to question the avoidance of alcohol!

Have to wonder if it was easier for women back in the day when they would be 8, maybe even 12, weeks gone before they found out?

Penny85 · 07/11/2016 19:53

I still need to hear from the midwife for booking in/scan dates but if my scan isnt before xmas I will book a private one- I checked on groupon and there is one near me for £39 which is good so I recommend you guys check there.

LuciBee231015 · 07/11/2016 20:08

Funny enough I ran and booked one after my last post 🙈

I've booked it for 2 weeks time when I should be 8 weeks.

wildone81 · 07/11/2016 20:21

Glad I'm not the only one! Husband not fussed about it either way but waiting 4 weeks seams so much easier than 7 and I'll hopefully be able to relax more over Christmas once I've seen evidence that spud actually exists! Although the nausea + torpedo boobs + fowl taste in my mouth is reassuring me at the moment...

LuciBee231015 · 07/11/2016 20:42

I feel fine today, think that's what's worrying me

wildone81 · 07/11/2016 21:38

GP did say to me that most women have days when they have no symptoms and start to think they're imagining being pregnant...I'm trying very hard to remember that......

Kitsandkids · 07/11/2016 22:03

I'm starting to think I'm imagining it. I have been very tired but then I'm quite a tired person anyway. My boobs are a bit sore but not too bad. I've got no nausea, no cravings, my sense of smell seems normal. I was so surprised to be pregnant after years of nothing that I'm starting to think it's more likely that I'm not.

Subshine120530 · 08/11/2016 04:18

Me👋🏻 Due 17th July got a Dd who will be nearly 5 when dc arrives.. for my bfp last night and been awake all night worrying! Silly really as I've done it before Grin hope u are all well? I'm ok apart from really really sore boobs and feeling a bit sick

Krissy81 · 08/11/2016 06:55

Hi everyone
Can I join please? Got my bfp 10 days ago, but didn't dare believe it. Due date would be 8 July (ish) as I can't quite remember my dates. Have had lots of REALLY faint lines and bleeding and some negative tests since then. It's been an emotional roller coaster. Last few have been positive though and now I'm hoping it's true. Dd1 is 15 months.

crombanna · 08/11/2016 07:16

Official rule please: no panicking about lack of symptoms. They do come and go anyway, but also some people are lucky and just never feel that bad, especially first pregnancies!! Just have a look for some threads on here. Some people get to 40 weeks and the only thing giving the game away is bump + no period!

justamummy27 · 08/11/2016 07:35

Hi guys, is there room for another?
I'm due 17th July (tho will prob be early due to needing a c-section) already have a gorgeous boy who is 2 next month so this is really exciting but terrifying at the same time!!
Is the fb page private? Don't want anyone else knowing at this early stage Smile

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 08/11/2016 07:39

Hi all, just caught up on the thread. Welcome to all! Thansk LuciBee and crombanna for the suggestions, sat down this weekend and created a meal plan for the week and did a full shop including plenty of snacks to keep with me. I'm going to start eating dinner at work (I work long days) rather than wait til I get home which will hopefully help and keep my energy levels up. So here's hoping for a better week!

Weirdest pregnancy symptom so far has been bleeding gums when I brush my teeth which is a new one on me.

LuciBee231015 · 08/11/2016 08:17

I feel absolutely normal today... My boobs not even hurting that much anymore. I know we're not meant to be panicking, but I kind of am 🙈 Lol

Sasspop · 08/11/2016 08:21

Congratulations all. I got a bfp on Friday (only did a test to see if I could drink on Saturday as was a few days late) have been ttc for 6months so was so suprised! Due date would be July 11th so 5weeks today X

Sasspop · 08/11/2016 08:23

Oh I have had extremely tender and heavy breasts for a whole week before period due, have had some mild stomach cramps and backache at some point every day, feeling light headed when I stand and loss of appetite... Hadn't realised I would get these symptoms so early

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 08/11/2016 08:34

Yeahh the Facebook is secret so no one can see your posts other than the people in the group :)
It's lovely to get to know people a little better and share experiences :)
Xxx

Seahawk80 · 08/11/2016 08:56

Thanks notthereyet it's a pretty rubbish time but just have to wait another week. The danger of going in any earlier is that they may still not be able to see enough to know that things are ok. I could go on Monday but DH can come on Tuesday so I'll wait one more day, at least it's just one week to go now and on the plus side while I still have the spotting it's only light pink and very light, only ever when I wipe (sorry if tmi) also nausea is kicking in and I did a cheaply hpt yesterday and got a good strong line. I'm just struggling with the waiting. If it was bad news I could get on with things and if it's good I can get excited. Being in limbo sucks, this is going to be the longest week of my life. Luckily I have quite a varied week at work so that should help it to go quicker!

I think I'll def have a private scan around 9'weeks if all is ok next week, think I deserve it after all this stress!

sparkle789 · 08/11/2016 08:57

Hi can j join you all? Got my bfp yesterday. I'm not sure of my due date as I haven't had a period since coming off the pill but did a digi today and that has me as 4-5 weeks so I'm going with that for now, so early July. Midwife appt booked for 2nd Dec.

This will be dc3 for us I have a nearly 10yo dd and a 3 yo dd. Not told anyone yet we're still in shock!

Symptoms are nausea, painful boobs and I've gone off food.

With dd1 I had hg and with dd2 I had spd, so I'm hoping for a smoother pregnancy this time!

Sunshineeyes · 08/11/2016 09:26

Morning all.
How is everyone today? I am seeing my midwife today so am looking forward to that. I have noticed that I am already getting splotches of pigmentation on my face and arm! Can someone give me the name of the Facebook group please so I can join? X

Popularcontrarian · 08/11/2016 09:35

Hello to all the newbies! Congrats.
Subshine we have the same due date and I'll also need a section Smile so will also be earlier than 17th, particularly as DS was 39+4.

No real symptoms here but I'm only 4+1. Boobs may be more sensitive and I'm not feeling great after my morning coffee. Can't possibly give caffeine up completely as 12 month old DS had us up half the night. Starting to question whether or not I'll be able to do this!

Heading to the doc tonight and going to ask to be referred to the EPU for an early scan as I haven't had a period since my MC. Then going to get the harmony test done privately at 10 weeks. That's my scan plan man Smile

Xalonera · 08/11/2016 09:43

Another stepping in tentatively... Got my BFP on a cheapy yesterday and Clearblue confirmed it this morning. Due date 17th July (there seems to be a few of us!). Only symptom so far is bloating, I had a teeny bit of pink/brown spotting the day before AF was due so I'm guessing that was implantation. This will be baby no2, I have a 13mo DS. So exciting!

Subshine120530 · 08/11/2016 10:04

Anyone else feel absolutely terrified?! I know I shouldn't be as I already have done this once but can't help feeling scared 😳 also worried about telling my mom as we were having a chat the other day and she said don't have another cus I couldn't love another grandchild as much as I love her.. telling her tonight so wish me luck x
