FoxMulder · 02/11/2016 11:58

Oh no I'm so sorry July this is so cruel

Adventuregame · 02/11/2016 12:36

July I'm so so sorry. I went through that last year so know how you feel - gutted for you.

Feels wrong to post this now after July is suffering but had my 12 week scan this morning - all fine. Was so nervous after last year's mmc but sonographer was very quick to reassure me of heartbeat.

Can't remember which one of you it was that said my twinges could be a Corpus Luteum cyst ? - bang on exactly what it was. Said it should just resolve on it's own and they will measure it to make sure it gets smaller. Anyone else had this ?

Adventure I have a big cl cyst. It was 4cm at 6.5 weeks and 3 at 10.5. Hoping it's shrink on my 12 weeks scan at 13.5 on Friday. Still getting twinges so thinking it's still there.

I had one in my first pregnancy I presume it was gone by my 20 week scan as it wasn't mentioned.

Adventuregame · 02/11/2016 12:59

McBaby that's made me feel better. I don't know what mine measured. I'll have a look in my notes !

Congratulations Adventure
Really happy for you. This is my second mc this year, so truly devastated. My GP is in shock. Can't believe my baby has been dead for 3 weeks. GP says that he will do fortnightly scans next time as I'm not likely to be seen by recurrent miscarriage unless it happens 3x.
Still hopeful we'll get to be parents one day. Thank you all, it's been wonderful. I'm so sorry I have to leave now and won't be there on thread 99 when you're all sharing birth stories.
Good luck all! Hopefully I'm the last statistic and it doesn't happen to any of your beans. x

Adventuregame · 02/11/2016 13:13

Thank you July I know what your GP means - I found it incredible last year that my body had held on to something for 3 weeks after it had stopped growing. I decided to take it as a good sign that my body was strong. I hope you go on to your next pregnancy and it's a happy ending for you.

Congrats adventure- due date? My scan today was fine- I'm 12 plus 5 so the due date has changed again to 12th may. Always good to lose a day here and then!

Really sorry july...my body held on to the baby for 7 weeks when I had my mmc. It's horrendous and you feel so let down by yourself. Horrible. I'm sorry this is happening to you.

AnneLovesGilbert · 02/11/2016 15:49

When do you get the results of blood tests done at the booking appointment?

From the letter, my scan is just that, no appointment about anything else. But will they really wait till the 16 week one for the results of tests I had done at 7 weeks? Or would someone phone me if they were worried?

Adventuregame · 02/11/2016 15:50

Due date forward by 3 days so now May 14th
12+3 today (although still convinced my dates were right - haha)
