I'd love to have a home birth but too much of a scardy cat!
I like to know everything is there just in case!

I'll be off to the lgi....hopefully sooner rather than later as 3 days overdue now

am hoping everything will be ok !!! there seem to have been a few too many horror stories about lgi maternity on look north lately

auntymandy · 10/01/2007 15:58

Auntymandy - hello! Getting back online after birth has taken some effort. LGI was great, staff there were all very nice, I ate well and was really comfortable. Had to stay in 2 nights, the only downside was all the crying babies at night, beng woken up in then night to try to establish BF and me flooding the corridor when I had a shower! We had a lovely student midwife with us for nearly all of the birth, my DH chatted to her while I was zonked out on my pethidine.
