cause for concern?

I've never had a baby before, and I'm just generally terrified. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and just in the past 2 days had some light brown spotting. I plan on calling my midwife tomorrow, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this as well... All the articles I've read day this is normal, but I'm scared.

I knows it's scary, but stay calm for tonight and call the midwife first thing tomorrow.
It is more than likely nothing to worry about.
I had some brown spotting in my last pregnancy was informed it was normal my baby boy is now 6 months.
