Hi Am 32 wks pregnant & baby is laying across - has never been head down. My book says if they haven't turned by this point then they won't! Am getting worried my baby won't turn now & I may end up with a c-section. Itnis my 2nd child. . . . .
Any ideas / thoughts!!!

Try lying on the diagonal.... head on the floor, feet up against the couch (use an ironing board). Also try getting down on all fours.

Katpoo, just to reassure you a bit. My ds kept turning into a transverse position from about 35 weeks onwards!
I certainly knew about it when he did because my whole bump would disappear from belly button down and I'd be left with a lump lying across my belly!
Anyway, when I went into labour he was head down and when I was fully dialated he changed his mind lol, went back up and turned transverse again!
But with a little positional changes he turned around again and came out with the help of forceps. He was a healthy 8lb 7oz too!

"My book says if they haven't turned by this point then they won't!"

That's not true - they can turn right up to birth, although it's more likely they will turn before 36 weeks.
