Woodsy lovely news, congratulations!

Cookies, I'm sure no news is good news. You hear very quickly if the result is high risk I believe. I think there's a general July 2016 FB group but I don't believe there's one for this mumsnet group as yet...who's going to do the honours?

Scase DC stands for dear child/children I believe, so in the stats I've put DC3 meaning this baby will be my third. I could try adding a link to an editable spreadsheet that anyone could add their stats to?...I will probably cock it up but happy to try. Smile

Cheery1 · 04/01/2016 21:37

woodsy that's lovely news! Congratulations x

Cookies - Facebook thread is new to me too so I'm missing that one too. Quite happy here tbh, not sure about FB.

I had NHS scan on 29th and no blood test results yet. I'm hoping no news is good news!

Cheery1 · 04/01/2016 21:38

Vicky - so sorry about your Grandma. I lost mine 6 years ago and I miss her every day. Sending hugs Flowers

Scase1firsttimemum · 04/01/2016 21:53

I can have a look at trying to create a group! And thank you for letting me in on the lingo haha! I will start creating it now Smile

indians that's fantastic you are receiving such brilliant treatment. Can I move to where you are? So glad you're feeling better and I really hope you level out with everything. I only ask because I was treated for depression during my second pregnancy and took fluxodine from 20ish weeks and right through. DD2 was born late at night and home the next day. Kept on them throughout 4 months of breast feeding was never an issue. I just thought I would let you know, as it's not overly common to hear of other similar stories and it was always a v secret thing with me as i felt other people might judge me and barely told a sole. And you can always send me a message about it if you want to talk or anything (but does sound like you be great support in RL)
I was home the next day after having DD2 and so weird it was never mentioned. I never openly spoke about it though. I braved bringing it up in my booking app this time though.

I came off them over two years ago now (of my own accord, just swapped them for exercise one day) and it is a worry to me now it might creep back. Hense dragging my bum to the gym! So totally get where you're coming from. And great that you were brave to bring it up, and so quickly, as its really hard.

Congratulations Woodsy, what lovely, lovely news :)

Indians, I'm really glad you're getting such good help. It must make you feel a lot better and reassured just to know that people are caring for you properly.

Cookies, one of the main reasons I exercise is to keep my anxiety down! Hooray for the gym and its healing powers...

Cheery I'll stay here with you; I really can't be doing with Facebook! As a teacher in particular it's an absolute minefield... Much easier not to be on it!

Good luck today Scase and Feline!

Congrats Woodsy, that's wonderful news. Delighted you finally found out.

And Ellizardo, Jem and Photographer, glad scans went well. We are just on the bus to the hospital for ours now.

Culture, the results from our private nuchal scan came back a week later, would probably have been even quicker but it was just before Christmas. Don't know about the nhs ones, will ask today. Generally they say you will hear more quickly if there are any problems, so no news is good news.

Cookies and Indians, I agree about exercise - it really helps me to keep negative thoughts at bay. I've been feeling very restless being so inactive for the past two months, couldn't do my normal exercise as so anaemic. Iron tabs kicking in now so look forward to doing a bit more from next week.

Lucy90 · 05/01/2016 09:06

Finding it hard to keep up with everything!
Good luck today gnat!
I haven't felt sick this morning which is a nice bonus!

Great news Ellizardo, Jem, Woodsy and Photographer! Good luck Scase and Gnat!

Ah my scan is a week today! Getting increasingly nervous now and want it to hurry up round. Just woke up majorly dehydrated again Shock

mascaraisamust · 05/01/2016 09:21

P.s bluebell, I can't believe you are 15 weeks! I'm lapsing behind here at 11+3, interesting to hear what's to come though!

Cheery1 · 05/01/2016 09:27

Good luck mascara!

bluebell - hooray that you'll be here too if other lovely ladies go to FB!

In other news, felt great yesterday, got lots of work done, did a great swim. Think I might have overdone it, feel like I've been hit by a train today! Soooooo tired! Plenty of work to do but no energy. Was really hoping to get back into an exercise routine, have so missed running (midwife told me not too at booking in apt). Really hope doing a swim/gym session doesn't keep on wiping me out following day!

mascaraisamust · 05/01/2016 09:47

Cheery thanks for the good luck, but it's next week Wink I'll also be here, don't do Facebook either!

Cheery1 · 05/01/2016 10:16

Oh sorry mascara! See told you I was tired today! Hooray to you sticking around here too Smile

Jem01 · 05/01/2016 10:57

Good luck Scase and Gnat and anyone else who is having a scan?

Agree on relooking at the stats again as there are lots of people on there but only a handful of us actually post on here..

Vickie360 · 05/01/2016 11:03

Good luck to everyone having scans today can't wait for mine on Friday but so nervous I dont remember feeling this worried with dd but I'm sure I did!

Bluebell20 · 05/01/2016 11:22

mascara I know, I can't believe it either! I did get jumped on four days at my scan, though, so that has sped the weeks along somewhat!

Okay, I've had a quick look at the stats. Lots of our regular posters aren't even on there to be fair! From what I can work out, these are all the people who've been posting recently (although I think Jemimahpuddleduck might still be around too? And HamSolo? And Fourormore?) I do deeply apologise if I've missed anyone.
