september twenty-something. right before my cousin's wedding. i am a hairy beast at the moment.

new kids on the block. don't laugh.

whatever is in season. right now i am loving pears and winter citrus. yum.

both. i only have a dog right now but i grew up with both.

not really. it hasn't happened to me.
what is the stupidest thing you ever stood in line for?
probably tickets to a garth brooks concert. i was never planning to go to the show. i knew it would sell out and i wanted to sell the tickets for a profit. not very nice of me, but it worked.
what is your favorite thing about snow?
everything. i love snow. the sound it makes when you step on it is magical.
are your toenails painted?
no. they have been recently, but not right now.
what is your favorite thing about being pregnant?
feeling little one move around.
what is your least favorite thing about being pregnant?
throwing up with very little notice. also, peeing a little when i sneeze or cough. just a little, but enough to have to change my panties.
what is your idea of the perfect day?
spending the morning with dh and munch, taking a good nap midday, eating a big plate of thai food for lunch and then working in my sewing room all afternoon. heaven.
what is keeping your perfect day from happening?
dh has to work. boo.

A lie in, breakfast in bed, nice warm bath, shopping - with someone carrying my bags, nice italian lunch (like i had today crepolini porcini yummmy) then go and get hair done, and lie on the beach all afternoon then out to dinner in the evening with my lovely family
what is keeping your perfect day from happening? came pretty close today, but was too rushed and no hot beach, also coildnt afford to get hair done, altho it did get once over with the ghd's lol

The worry that I will most def for sure have a little stretch marked pouch thing on my belly afterwards and wont feel attractive.

My love, sunshine, a big pool, lots of rose wine and lots of laughing and sex!

OMG - RRBK I was that close to having the Time Travellers Wife. It's the book that sticks in my mind most from recent reading, although it's about a year since I read it!

Me too! I almost wrote that, but decided I'd rather have something new. I recommend TTW to everyone.

ah its amazing isnt it? I read it this summer in on holiday in malawi, where i conceived, and thinking about it just makes the hairs on my arms and neck all stand up.. the most beautiful love story ever ever.
straight after that I read 'we need to talk about harry' (sic), by lionel shriver, letters from a mother to a father about their child who had slaughtered loads of kids at his school. talk about head melt.

Long lie in during a morning rainstorm, awake in posh hotel room with sun shining and DH and breakfast waiting (DH waiting for me, IYKWIM ), long walks and talks about where we should go for next holiday before a hideously long & wine-filled lunch, siesta, long massage, manicure/pedicure, sauna, steam...DS appears magically from somewhere in wonderful mood and giggles all afternoon while we get ready for another fabulously long meal, all of us falling asleep together in a cushy bed with very expensive sheets under the stars with smiles on our faces...
