I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

Hello, Can I join? I've just found out I'm PG after having a MC at the beginning of October. No idea when I am due but think it will be mid to late July.

Fingers crossed this one goes through to full term. Been TTC since August and this will be DC#1.

I'm 26 and from Edinburgh btw.

So sorry to hear your news Lily xx

BelOfTheBall79 · 16/11/2015 12:16

Welcome sunnyscot hope this one goes really well for you.

I am counting down to my 7 week scan on Friday now. Feeling extremely nauseous but hoping that's a good sign!

DH is off work sick today, so I am in bed feeling bad and he's on the sofa feeling bad! He did make me scrambled egg on toast this morning though so he's still looking after me Smile

Jem01 · 16/11/2015 12:41

So sorry Lily xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/11/2015 12:48

Bel Nausea has hit me today too. I had it a bit yesterday both times at approximately 11am lasting for about an hour.

Hi all, haven't had much time to post recently. Just to read on my phone to keep up!

But I just wanted to post to say sorry to hear your news lilydaisyrose and that you're in my thoughts. I remember your story and that this was a nice surprise after a gap and your news is very saddening. As others have said, I hope you're getting support IRL and resting now.

EllieJayJay · 16/11/2015 12:57

I really am not getting morning sickness thank god but I do get the odd moment of queazy, I felt a bit more green than normal yesterday even after crackers so shoved on the SeaBands and had a bottle of orange and ginger and felt normal within ten minutes - think it kept it at bay X

fairydust85 · 16/11/2015 13:31

Hey everyone :) thought I would come join you all. I'm 4+6 with my first baba, due 19th July. Even after 3 home tests and a doctor's test, I still can't quite believe I'm pregnant :) I'm a worrier by nature but this is another scale! I'm worried everyone I get a twinge or cramp in my stomach, I'm worried my jeans are too tight, I'm worried I'm not sat correctly, I'm worried about the extra discharge I keep getting, it literally is constant worrying. My heart pounds when I think about anything being wrong. I really need to calm the F down!!
I would say so far I've had sore/zingy/tingly boobs, cramps/twinges in lower tummy and that's about it...The cramps in my tummy have worried me from the minute I found out I was preg because they feel a little like I'm gonna come on my period. I contacted a local out of hours gp over the weekens about this, who didn't do much to reassure me. But, from other posts on here I think what I am experiencing is normal? It feels like such a long time to have to wait before you can see a midwife or even go for a scan. I don't think I will be able to relax until I have been to the first scan and can see and hear from a professional that everything is ok. I prob sound like a moron....I just worry so much lol. Anyway hi everyone haha :)

BelOfTheBall79 · 16/11/2015 13:37

Hi fairydust welcome and congratulations!

It's only natural to worry, for us first timers everything is new and we have no idea what to expect! Even those ladies who already have children have been finding they have different symptom from first time around.

I had cramping that felt lke a period too, from what I read it was from 'implantation' (and apparently you can have some spotting too) so try not to worry, it's probably just your little bean burrowing down! If it gets too painful then do see a doctor but am sure nothing to be concerned about.

Cookiesandcoffee · 16/11/2015 14:05

So sorry to hear your terrible news lily so sad. I really hope you have all the love and support you need. Best of luck for the future and when you next try ttc ThanksBiscuit

beckslovestimmy · 16/11/2015 14:15

Off for my midwife appointment in a mo, DH is taking DD to the park so at least we can talk in peace. Starting to feel real now I'll be getting into the system. Hope to get our scan date soon.

Bluebell20 · 16/11/2015 14:26

Well, I just got back from the GP - he prescribed antibiotics for the cough situation, but suggested that I hang on for a couple of days before starting the prescription, just to see if it starts shifting on its own. I really would rather not take drugs if I can avoid it (I would normally grit my teeth rather than take a paracetamol), but on the other hand I really don't want this to develop into pneumonia!

In other news, my dad spoke to DH on the phone this morning and apparently said he feels sorry for him because he's going to have to put up with me whinging about being pregnant Shock! I really hope this is just DH pulling my leg. Trying to get hold of my dad to find out! If he did say it then I am severely unimpressed!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/11/2015 14:29

Fairydust congratulations. Try not to worry about cramps. I had quite noticeable cramps that weren't painful but sore from just after I got my BFP. I think my worst weeks were week 4 & 5. I'm approaching week 7 now and I haven't had any now for the past few days. They usually stop about week 6/7.

I have just been a bad parent and fell asleep. I'm supposed to be looking after my 2 year old. He came and slapped me in the face so that woke me up haha. My tummy is grumbling and I want sweets. I may have to treat me & the children to some after the school run.

So sorry, LilyFlowers

Gx91 · 16/11/2015 14:41

Hey all X
Beautician - my almost 2 yr old DD is the sm likes to clobber me when I close my eyes or sit on me and call me "horsey" Hmm lol

Welcome fairy dust - I have the occasional cramp here and there too ( don't think it's anything to worry about ) all the muscles are sorting themselves out in ur uterus to make room for the ever growing baby ! X theres a few of us due on the 19th on July so that should b fun nearer the time we are due! Lol Grin X
I haven't been feeling sick at all yet , didn't suffer badly first pregnancy either ( touch wood it's the same )
I just made a big pot of sweet potato and butternut squash soup and it was awsome ! Lol got a food shop earlier with all the things I fancied Grin
Tmi - when coming out of the shops I felt a rush of liquid come out ! Was really frightened it might b blood so had to check in the car !!
Luckily it was just cm which seems to b more abundant lately ! Bit of a scare tho ! Xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/11/2015 14:51

Gx91 We get called Horsey too haha. I've always had lots of cm in pregnancy it's often my first sign. Usually mine is thick & creamy during pregnancy but this time it's creamy but watery so I keep knicker checking too.

Right getting ready to collect Ds 1 & 2 from school. The Haribo is calling me. I can be naughty the once. Are prawns ok to eat? I can't remember. I fancy prawn stir fry for tea

Fairdust I've had cramps too, and at first was worried but research suggests it's everything moving and growing inside - feels like fluttering to me, sometimes worse than others. Also this might be tmi for some but I'm terribly constipated at times and that can also hurt like hell :)

Keeps shocking me how doctors can be quite oblivious to the fact that first time mums are new to all of this and that any mum to be is going to find these first weeks really bloody nerve racking - If it wasn't for this little group is be going mental by now with nerves and worry!

My cat slaps me on the nose on quite a regular basis for food or attention and I have a kitten going nuts ever morning at 2am - I think this might be good practise :)

EllieJayJay · 16/11/2015 15:38

Neither can I Indians xx

Gx91 · 16/11/2015 15:52

Lol Ellie sounds like u have ur hands full already ! Lol my OH says next time I get broody we will get a puppy ! Lol I said two kids would probs b enough aswell but can't rule out a third if I feel the baby urge again X Grin
Any one else going to BF ? I did for the first 5 months with DD , was really hard getting the hang of it and even then my milk supply wasn't great so ended up having to do mixed feeding ( she was very greedy )hoping this time round is easier as I used to cry all the time about it X x

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 16/11/2015 15:56

So sorry to hear your news lily massive hugs look after yourself and hope all goes well when you try again in the future.xx
