Jules, you can have gas and air at home btw.

Lovely bumps ladies! Totally not trying to hide mine and wearing as many things that make it look like I'm pregnant and not just fat, but unfortunately it's nowhere as neat as yours.

I've started feeling anxious again, scan is on 21st and really hope I start feeling sine thing by then. I keep giving my belly a little jiggle then lie really still but nothing.

RhubarbAndMustard · 07/10/2015 07:08

I looked at my bump in the mirror this morning after all your lovely bump pics, but mine looks odd. Sideways on it goes out, in at the belly button and then out again. Does that mean I've got that stomach muscle separation thing?

I also look huge. The midwife at my 16 week appt said she could feel my uterus above my belly button. Have since looked this up and that's high for this early on. Confused

Very jealous of your neat, gorgeous bumps.

Great news on your scan Jules and good luck for today's.

Missikat · 07/10/2015 07:09

Has anyone heard from Ginger? I'm sure she hadn't posted on this thread yet? Hope she's ok.

Paperblank · 07/10/2015 07:46

Morning!

Q and Pug you'be got such lovely bumps (that sounds wrong but you know what I mean! Grin) Mine just looks fat.

Still got this blinking cold and cough - it's not fun.

Hope you are all okay and starting to feel the little wrigglers

missikat funny you should mention the ina may book I've just started reading it at the weekend! Itts quite good but then I'm a convert to active/natural births already haha.

Just weighed myself and my weight is holding steady the same its been for last 6 weeks or so, which is good.

And here's my bump picture! Apologies about the underwear, messy room, bad lighting and multitude of sins... 18+1 today

Another 3.30 am wake up today and couldn't sleep for ages, then DD woke at 6am.. I tried cutting down my caffeine yesterday and only having one cup of tea, didn't seem to make and difference except I crashed our at 8.30, so I'm letting myself have my lunchtime tea today!

This is my bump on Sunday at the rugby at the Olympic Stadium at 16 weeks - I feel huge, particularly because my bump is now sticking out further than my rather large boobs...

I am so jealous of these lovely bumps! I want one Hmm fed up of just looking fat!

maybebabybee · 07/10/2015 08:56

I do have a bump but won't share a photo as at the moment it just looks like a wobbly spare tyre - I'm desperate for it to get hard!!

I had my 16 week midwife appt on Monday at 17+6. Was fairly uneventful. Didn't listen to the baby's heartbeat which was a shame but I do gather not all hospitals do that.

Rosieblossom123 · 07/10/2015 09:04

Me same here left dp watching tv on his own at 8 bless him felt really bad! Sickness was awful last night so had to sleep it off!

That's my bump at 18 weeks exactly, just notice my cat sleeping under the duvet haha Excuse my messy room! Blush

ThePug · 07/10/2015 09:33

Yay for all the beautiful bumps! marmite your's is particularly impressive!

jules You're so patient! This is also our first but I can't wait to find out. Much to my dad's disappointment. He keeps saying he doesn't want to know and we should be waiting (he's suddenly come over all traditional). My mum says as soon as we know we have to tell her though!

JoannaZZ · 07/10/2015 09:46

Amazing bumps girls! I'll take a picture of mine in the evening when it looks bigger Grin

I must be starting to look pregnant rather than fat because yesterday was the first time someone looked at my bump and said "oh, you're pregnant". So glad he was right so I didn't have to reply "no I'm just chubby" Smile

vroc81 · 07/10/2015 10:12

Lovely bumps ladies! I'm still just looking fat! I suppose I had a bit of that to start with Blush but never was someone who had much in round the middle I just look fat!! My OH says that there is a bump appearing but I'm not convinced..

Would quite like it to miraculously pop out in next week or so as got a big presentation at a conference next week then an awards evening after and not looking forward to just looking a chubb in a slightly tight dress?! Shock

Glad the scan went well jules hope the rest of the info is got ok today!

hayleycookie · 07/10/2015 10:38

Adding my bump here! 17+6 today. Loving the bump pictures and seeing my own grow. Eagerly waiting regular movement now! Has anyone started getting unwanted bump touching yet?

ThePug · 07/10/2015 11:23

hayley we're exactly the same dates and can't believe how different our bumps look - yours is so much higher than mine! Are you finding out if it's a boy or girl? If the tales are true, yours looks like it'll be a girl and mine a boy. Do you have a scan date yet?

hayleycookie · 07/10/2015 11:31

I've just had a look back Pug and can't believe how much lower yours is! I will be finding out, but STILL haven't got a scan date!! When is your scan? Are you finding out the sex?

ThePug · 07/10/2015 11:48

My pic was almost 3 weeks ago but position hasn't changed. Scan is on Friday 23rd Oct and yes we're definitely finding out! I called up the hospital last week to ask when I'd be getting the date through and they just said they could book it over the phone then - so might be worth a try!

And on that note, having been horrified at my hospital saying the 12 week scan pictures were £10 (but we ended up not being charged as the sonographer said she was sorry the screen was blurry during the scan - it really wasn't!), the 20 week letter says this has now gone up to £15! Shock

marmitemofo · 07/10/2015 11:58

I carried really low with DD and seem to be carrying low with this one too, and DD was a girl. I think carrying low is supposed to be a boy? So I think it's more to do with body shape than sex! I'm short and my stomach muscles are crap so think that's why I tend to carry low...

Rosieblossom123 · 07/10/2015 12:20

Pug how many pictures do you get for £10? Because the hospital I go to they charge £10 for 3 scan pictures! I think that's really expensive considering that I didn't pay for my early scan at 9 week in the EPU!

£15 is way too expensive Shock

dobbythedoggy · 07/10/2015 12:39

Counting down to scan this afternoon, 2, so not long now, but feels like forever. Dd is going out with my sister and her patner and is desprate for them to arrive. Although I'm worrying there may be tears when they/we leave as she keeps asking if I'm comming too.

hayley dd attempts to undress me when ever anyone mentions bump or asks how I am infront of her. I have lots of people in my life who'd love to touch the bump but most know unless your under 5 you're not getting away with it, as I blew up about it when pregnant with dd. Even dh knows to warn me before touching there as it makes me so jumpy and if I'm feeling crappy he'll have his head bitten off. Certain touches just make my stomach turn.

hayleycookie · 07/10/2015 12:40

Pug I tried calling my midwife to book but she just told me that I was ''in the system'' and that letters can be as close as 10 days before the scan. Might try calling the hospital and get in that way! Would be nice to have a date to count down to!
Our pictures were £4.00 each and I thought that was steep! When we had DS1 they were £1.00 each! That was only 3 years ago

Rosieblossom123 · 07/10/2015 12:50

dobby good luck with your scan not long left Flowers

Trinpy · 07/10/2015 13:29

Lovely bump pics everyone. I might wait until the evening to take mine too - I look a lot more bumpy and a lot less fat later on in the day!

Rhubarb - interesting you say that, because I think my uterus must be high for this stage. At my 16 week appointment the mw was looking for a heartbeat really low down for ages and in the end she found it up by my belly button! My uterus has probably been so stretched by jumbo-sized ds I expect this baby is in there swimming lengths Blush.

Indom - no mine doesnt say where the placenta is either. I think they tell you at 20 weeks though?

I'm Shock at £15 for scan pics. Ours used to ask for a donation of £3 a photo but they don't seem to be charging for them anymore.

Has anyone else been feeling lots of pressure and heavy uncomfortableness low down? I had it really badly all of yesterday, it felt like I was 40 weeks rather than 16. Stupidly Googled it and scared myself Confused.

Trinpy · 07/10/2015 13:32

Hope all goes well with the scan dobby.

RhubarbAndMustard · 07/10/2015 13:41

Good luck with your scan today dobby.

Loving all the bump pics. Couldn't resist adding mine.

We weren't charged for pics at the 12 week scan, but we have to pay at the 20 week. Not sure how much though. Got the appointment as soon as the 12 week scan was done, they just printed off the letter there and then.

16+3 today, got my 16 week appointment tomorrow. 10am so looking forward to being able to sleep a little later than usual as a result! :)
