Well apologies if this posts twice, already done this once but can't appear to see where it is?!?

I started moaning about weight gain, I've already put on a stone...had no idea how this compared to kg and just realised it's over 6kg so compared to you guys I'm positively what like!! I'll attach a bump pic too now is bump like rather than just porky!!

Beautiful your post a few days ago about dreams actually made me lol...hope they've calmed down...if not please continue sharing and cheering us up!!

So exciting to start finding out genders, congratulations ginger!! I'm still completely undecided about what to do?! Would allow us to get a lot more organised if we found out but not sure I'm ready to know yet?! Confused Oh well I have until the 23rd to decide...or change my mind another umpteen times!! Gah!!

March 2016 Babies! Here's thread #5!!
BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 09:43

Hahaha Poppins was that the Anal Aldi Checkout Girl Dream? Don't you worry, I'm sure I'll have plenty more instalments! I've put on about 5kg I think... just bought shit loads of chocolate products from M&S as well!

Re sex - are you an organised person? Bit of a control freak? Or more laid back and go with the flow type? I think that will answer whether you should find out or not!

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 09:44

That's a lovely bump - love the child on the floor in the background Grin

flowersbythesea · 13/10/2015 10:10

Hello, hope I can join in - it's been lovely reading how everyone is getting along. I'm due 8 March, and my 20w scan is next Tuesday! Feeling nervous as this is DC2 after 2 MCs so hoping the scan will reassure me and will be so good to see baby again.

Also, wanted to share did everyone know that Pregnacare has a new liquid vitamin out? I really struggled with the tablets so this has been brilliant.

maybebabybee · 13/10/2015 10:20

poppins you're not alone, I also have put on a stone Blush

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 10:50

Poppins I love your bump and I love before and after shots too :) I just had a look at mine and was quite shocked at the difference Shock

4 days until my 20 weeks scan so excited and nervous, can't believe in 4 days I will stop calling my baby 'it' Blush

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 11:01

Rosie I'm jealous of that bit - we're not telling anyone the sex so still have to say "it" all the time despite knowing she's a girl!

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 11:07

Beautiful how come? are you planning to keep it to yourselves until baby's born? I'm rubbish at keeping secrets haha

Have you decided which buggy you're getting I remember you saying that you were looking at cosatto too?

maybebabybee · 13/10/2015 11:12

beautiful we're also not telling anyone else the gender even though we're finding out :) I want everyone else to have a surprise!

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 11:16

Ahhh maybe so glad I'm not the only one! Yes Rosie I wanted the best of both worlds - I can get everything organised, but still be able to announce the surprise in March. It helps that it's my third girl - although I'm very excited it's nothing like the excitement of having my first son/daughter!

Definitely getting the Cosatto giggle 2, just wasn't sure when. But we've decided end of January... when are you getting it Rosie? I think I'm going to go for Moonwood!! If I've got that right.

Actually I'm a bit worried it won't fit in the car boot - apparently it folds quite big. Is there any way I can find this out before buying?!

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 11:17

Also Rosie I've started saying to people "I'm convinced it's a girl" and "I'd love another girl" so they're all gonna think I'm amazing at knowing what I was having Wink haha!

maybebabybee · 13/10/2015 11:19

RE: prams, I'm getting the babyzen yoyo 0+ - doesn't seem to be widely used on MN but it's got rave reviews online and seems perfect for me as it's so lightweight and easy to transport...I'm a weakling so can't be dealing with lugging heavy prams about...

Beautiful if you look at online reviews of the cosatto giggle it should tell you somewhere if it fits into most car boots...try madeformums.com, that has good reviews which cover most things.

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 11:22

Beautiful sounds like a good idea, I'll speak to dp about it might just tell the in laws and my mum and stepdad but no one else, so like you said it's still a surprise :)

I'm waiting for an offer on the car seat because from time to time they have brilliant offers like if you buy the travel system you get the car seat for free so it's definitely a bargain, I'm always keeping an eye out so I'll keep you updated!

I went to mothercare a few weekends ago and it is quiet bulky when it folds but It fits in my car, it's an estate so that's probably why! Why don't you pop in store and try it out and try putting in the boot of your car?

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 11:25

Haha Beautiful people are going to think that you've got super powers haha Wink

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 11:31

Thanks Rosie and maybe! I really ought to ask at Mothercare... I'm just so shite at the awkward small talk! Oh well. I wish it was on ebay, but I think it's too new. Will keep looking though as we don't really need a car seat.

Haha yeh it really seems to annoy some people that you "haven't found out the sex" so that's always fun :)

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 11:42

Beautiful I'm sure the only deals they do are on car seats? we'll have to keep an eye out :)

Have you seen the new Cosatto Woop they're really cute and cheaper than the giggle 2, I don't know which one to get because the woop doesn't come with a carrycot but the seat goes flat but dp wants giggle 2, he keeps saying it'll be warmer for baby?

www.cosatto.com/explore-our-range/products/travel-systems/travel-systems/woop

BeautifulLiar · 13/10/2015 11:49

Ooh I haven't seen it no, will look now. I've never had a carrycot for any of my babies Blush one was born in May with terrible weather, one in August with terrible weather and one at the end of November... they all survived :) my DH is clueless with baby stuff so just leaves it all to me!

Rosieblossom123 · 13/10/2015 11:56

Beautiful if you don't need a carrycot then 100% look at the woop much cheaper too :)

QforCucumber · 13/10/2015 12:01

It's so exciting looking at all the prams and things, we chose ours at the weekend but are waiting until after Xmas to get it - going with the Venicci Travel system in Silver and Black (dp loves the idea of the chrome effect wheels haha) went and played with it and love it.
Scan a week tomorrow, counting down the days!
beautiful saw your other thread about your DP, hope you've managed to sort things out. Though we don't have any kids yet I know how stressful it is when they are trying to qualify, do you know how long he has until he will qualify? What level is he working towards?
DP is now working as an electrician for a local council, not the highest of wages but the benefits and hours are great so can't complain at all.

Poppins27 · 13/10/2015 12:06

Beautiful you may well have a great idea there!! In finding out but not saying anything!! I'm by no way a control freak, slightly organised but only in the sense that I like a vague idea what I'm doing and when, and the house appears 'tidy' until you open cupboards/drawers etc!! Haha

I'd like to know just because I can get rid of Dds things to make space to clear for new stuff, or so I can wash prepare Dds things (there's no way I'm washing and ironing unnecessarily!!) haha!!

But I don't actually want to know, or want others to know and refer to 'it' as a he/she or start nagging re names etc?!

Gah...I'm useless and DP is equally as rubbish!!

MyNameIsSuz · 13/10/2015 13:19

I desperately want to know so we know which names to argue about!

A friend of mine kept the sex a secret, but it didn't really work - she'd started thinking of him as a boy and slipped up with a 'he' a few times in front of various different people, so none of us were surprised when he was a boy! That alone would put me off, I know I'd never manage not to let slip! Very impressed with anyone who can successfully keep it a secret.

Very jealous of everyone looking at prams, I can't really justify buying a new one even though I'd love one with a bigger basket. I saw a second hand icandy Apple which I was tempted by, I could probably buy it and sell my quinny for the same, but I'm wary of swapping my reliable and quite nice one for something unknown.

vroc81 · 13/10/2015 14:09

My sister kept it a secret although she told me and I accidentally let slip to mum who then admitted she knew.. I can't be bothered with all that so will just say if we are asked...

I got on the scales with some trepidation this morning after reading your posts and was pleased to find I'm still lighter than at booking in... This is probably as I was fat enough to start with. Because of my raised BMI they offered me a chat with the dietician clinic at booking in, finally got an appointment for about 3 weeks time

vroc81 · 13/10/2015 14:11

Oops pressed send too early... The leaflet that came through with the appointment letter is so rude, with the major implication that as I am already fat if I don't see them I will be huge by the time I give birth!

vroc81 · 13/10/2015 14:14

We went in to mothercare to give the prams a spin while passing a big one at the weekend.. Now waiting for the one (or two) we decided on to either appear at a good price on eBay or on offer!
