Welcome tiggery and congratulations on the pregnancy Smile. As magpie said, if you havent already, ask your midwife for a physio referral. If you get help early on then hopefully it wont get worse as your pregnancy progresses.

. I hope your dh is looking after you. I think its fair wnough for you to be a bit annoyed. 2 nights ago I woke up my dh to spend an hour crying on his shoulder about nothing in particular - now that was some hormones!

magpiedreams · 11/10/2015 07:36

Ah sorry to hear you've been afflicted too suz but thanks for sharing, makes me feel better! Glad yours are better and hopeful mine won't just keep getting worse for the next 24 weeks!

I am sooooo tired today after a late night. Up with DC and CBeebies now while DH sleeps, I had a lie in yesterday so kinda felt he should get one even though the late night was entertaining his colleagues, and I did all the cooking/planning etc. Hmm. He is usually brilliant in general though so I shouldn't moan.

Happy Sunday everyone, enjoy! x

IndomitabIe · 11/10/2015 08:15

Morning.

Sorry to hear about all the colds. The best thing you can do is sleep - take tomorrow off work, don't be a hero.

I had it about a fortnight ago, at its worst over the weekend. DH looked after DS while I rested. Was much better by Monday but was left with a cough for about a week (that made me start the pelvic floor exercises with earnest!).

Anyone else had suddenly ginormous-feeling boobs? I noticed yesterday that standing up from vegging on the sofa was sore. Just sat up in bed to find the same thing. I'm not sure if they are bigger, but they suddenly seem to have...appeared. (They're usually a tiny 28D (thanks to the bra interventionists for the impressive-looking size), so not used to Norks!)

MyNameIsSuz · 11/10/2015 08:44

Mine feel huge indomitable, but they're not, my bra still fits the same!

Sorry you've had to get up magpie, same thing always happens here too, either he doesn't hear him or he gets up, puts the tv on and comes back to bed leaving me fuming as I don't think he's old enough to be in there by himself. Sunday morning is rugby tots though so they've just gone out and I'm sitting in bed with peanut butter on toast :-)

Hello Triggery I totally sympathise with the sciatica. I've had it twice now and it is quite literally a pain in the arse!!

The evil bloody Cold still lingers here too but it's the cough which is driving me mad. I keep throwing up because I just can't stop coughing.

19 weeks today Grin which means I'm halfway as they are still inducing me at 38 weeks. Exciting stuff.

Hope you are all putting your feet up today ladies! Happy Sunday x

paper! Halfway?! I hadn't quite thought of it like that... blimey.

Pannacott · 11/10/2015 09:46

Welcome Tiggery! And Hello again! I posted on the first few threads but not since - I lost my password and mostly use MN on my phone, and couldn't reset it on my phone. Anyway, I'm 15+4 today, I've got quite a bump (2nd child), I'll post a pic later. Mostly not feeling very pregnant apart from insomnia and very annoying pain in my right hip (PGP? Sciatica?) I'm very much looking forward to early maternity leave around 8 January, I'm going to try and KonMarie my flat - declutter loads of crap and get it sorted before the baby arrives. Very exciting some of you are beginning to find out the sex of the baby Smile

Paperblank · 11/10/2015 14:39

suz if I think about the fact I'm at the halfway point I start to get a bit freaked out...there's quite a lot to do!

Hello ladies! Busy weekend for me, had in-laws round on Saturday to help with DIY (just had a new kitchen diner done) and then when to the baby and toddler show yesterday in Manchester, it was great! Got to fiddle with loads of prams, and eventually plumped for an iCandy peach (I'd discounted it as didn't think DH would go for it because of the price, but we got £250 off!). So excited now, the pregnancy feels much more real now I've bought something!

Missdee2014 · 12/10/2015 07:35

Hello folks, I haven't posted in a while. Been so busy moving house this weekend, as if I didn't have enough stresses going on in life as it was lol Anyway, last night I slept with a sheet on my bed and clean bedding which was a change from the previous night when I couldn't even find bed sheets! My other half is away back to work today and is now working for 12 days solid Sad thankfully though, my parents are coming over today to help me try and get a bit more organised and make the place a bit more like home.

20 week scan appt date finally in (I called them as was moving and no letter yet). It's on 27/10 and isn't coming fast enough! I've got the midwife tomorrow, extra appointment due to my high blood pressure which I can guarantee it won't be down any tomorrow due to moving house. Just hope she understands and doesn't just sign me off work sick like she threatened to do if it wasn't down!!

Missdee2014 · 12/10/2015 07:37

Loving all the bump pics too. This was me about a week ago now (I think) will try and get my partner to take a decent one tonight if we have time. I'm 18+2 today, pregnancy is flying in and I'm nowhere near organised. Will go pram shopping once we've had 20 week scan and start to get organised properly then hopefully.

March 2016 Babies! Here's thread #5!!
Trinpy · 12/10/2015 09:46

Here's my bump pic from a week ago.

Welcome back Pannacott! Nice to see you on the thread again.

hayleycookie · 12/10/2015 10:26

Have had a sudden growth spurt! Woke up yesterday with a much bigger bump and boobs! Was away for the weekend for my birthday and when I came back DH said I was noticeably bigger. Has anyone else just had a growth spurt?

18+4 today and STILL no scan date (which I was told should be at 19 weeks). No-one is worried yet. Midwives and hospital keep saying I'm ''in the system''. Wish I had a date to count down to :(

MyNameIsSuz · 12/10/2015 10:36

Me too Hayley! Last night I was huge and had a proper round bump, it's got more solid too. That sucks about your scan date, can you call and tell them you need to book the time off work and can they just tell you the date? I can't see why they won't, how frustrating!

Gingerlady123 · 12/10/2015 10:38

Sorry I havnt been on this thread a lot. I will start joining back in again.
Had private gender scan on Saturday at exactly 17 weeks and baby is a girl.
But why at 17 weeks am I still sick at least once a day, if not two or three times and why do I have a constant feeling of nausea all day everyday. It's really starting to upset me, I had morning sickness in the 1st trimester but in the second it's getting worse and worse and I'm worried about the effect it could have on the baby :(. Am I going to be that unlucky person who gets it all the way through. I'm so upset about it and just wishing March to come round quick.

sherazade · 12/10/2015 11:28

congrats ginger, girls are lovely!
If it's any consolation I still throw up at 19 weeks :((
scan this week anyone?

Me624 · 12/10/2015 11:52

Congrats on your little girl ginger!

Doc I'm going for the iCandy peach too. What colour did you go for? We are going to find out the sex but I think I'll still go for something neutral, probably the black or the red.

I've got my 20 scan this Friday! So excited.

Rosieblossom123 · 12/10/2015 12:25

sheraz same here my 20 week scan is this Friday!! Me we're nearly there Grin

Ginger Congrats :)

Has anyone else been very feeling lots of aches and muscle pain? I feel like a ran a marathon, the last few nights I've been getting really bad leg cramps at night and they're that bad that they wake me up :( and today I'm struggling to even walk feels like I've been at the gym all day. Anyone else feeling the same?

BeautifulLiar · 12/10/2015 12:40

Congrats again Ginger!

Hayley, I wrote on here a few days ago about how my uterus area had hurt all day, but it wasn't Braxton hicks so I assumed it was growing /stretching pains. Well I think I was right as my bump seemed to grow overnight! So glad it's turned into a football rather than just a questionable lump, ha. Boobs also seem bigger Confused

BeautifulLiar · 12/10/2015 12:46

Can't believe I forgot to say - I definitely felt baby move last night!! I could also see the tiny ripples under my skin and feel her movements on my hand if I put it on my stomach. So wish DH was here :( we had pretty heated words (by text!) yesterday and I haven't heard from him since last night, then had a nightmare where he cheated on me a few times, nice. So feeling pretty crap today!! Hoping to wake baby up soon with my daily can of Pepsi and see if she moves again! :)

RhubarbAndMustard · 12/10/2015 13:16

Congrats Ginger and wonderful news Beautiful. I'm still waiting for movement at 18+4.

Rosie I'm definitely feeling lots of aches, especially in my lower back and bottom, like a trapped nerve type pain. Its a struggle to move out of bed in the morning because I'm so stiff!

docmcstuffins1 · 12/10/2015 13:31

Me we went with truffle (it's just grey really). I liked the red but DH is much more fussy than me so he won!

Miss I think you win on the busy weekend stakes!

Ginger congratulations! I'm not so secretly hoping for a girl, DH wants a boy!

Still no movements here (since felt flutters at 17 weeks which may just have been wind) but bum has definitely got bigger over the weekend, loads of people have commented on it today at work!

Gingerlady123 · 12/10/2015 13:48

Thanks everyone.
I just hope they have it right. Would hate to be told a boy at 20 week scan and then not know either way for a few more months. She did seem pretty sure and said she could see 3 white lines.
Sher- sickness is horrible isn't it. I can't believe it's got worse for me in the 2nd tri, it's the constant nausea that does me in. Hope you feel better soon.
Beautiful- how exciting feeling baby move. Do you have an anterior placenta as I thought I read you did? I do and it's my first so I'm not expecting movements for ages.
Doc- I was wanting a girl although normally you get slated on here for admitting that. Oh says he wasn't fussed either way.

BeautifulLiar · 12/10/2015 14:00

Ginger - I'm definitely going to ask for a confirmation of the sex at my scan next week! Luckily i haven't bought much pink as I have plenty from the other girls and I've kept receipts too. I know it's a girl though due to the sickness and my craving for Braeburn apples again!

Yes i have an anterior placenta. I actually cried with relief when I realised she was moving Blush I've had nothing up to now though - 18+6 today. I was laid in bed reading and as soon as I felt it I remembered how it felt with the others. So it might seem like longer for first time mums as you're not sure what to look out for?

docmcstuffins1 · 12/10/2015 14:23

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind a boy, but DH has 2 boys from a previous relationship (this is first baby for me), so a girl would be a new experience for both of us!
