I've already confessed to being a wimp on the Dec thread(and I'm posting this in AN cos it's further up the list than pg or ,gulp, childbirth!)

I have being experiencing BH(i think!) since Thursday due to tiredness, mild late pg panic over house/birth/money/sanity/etc.
This is pg 2 and I'm 35 weeks. I don't remember having BHs like this last time.Just the occasional "Oh,bumps gone hard-How refreshing"

This time They are really uncomfortable. I have to stop what I'm doing.Nothing relieves them ie sitting down or moving. They're just in my lower bump(don't really notice a hardening of bump, but I have being trying to check that when I've got one) They're irregular but becoming more frequent. I've had them everyday since Thursday and today feel the're stopping me from doing much.(A sign I should sit on sofa all day?)

I don't think I'm going into labour, but want to know if anyone has actually experienced painful BHs?

Mine we painful enough to make me stop. In fact was very similar to first contractions.

yes, and do sit on the sofa all day and enjoy it!

Mien were exactly liek early labour and very annoying. Sit down with a nice hot water bottle or take a bath.

meeeeeeeeeeee! i used to have to stop what i was doing as the pain was so bad, i couldn;t walk !

i walk through a park to take DS part of the way to school , on a couple of occasions, i was walked back to the car as i looked like i was about to have the baby!! from about 35 weeks onwards!!

nothing like it in my first pregnancy!

i had them daily and had 3 false alarms before baby arrived !
don't panic and do what you feel comfortable doing..

thanks! you should have seen me in supermarket yesterday. Kept stopping to "recover" and as I do have the hughest bump I'm not sure what the other shoppers thought Not that I have any shame anyway.Especially as DH kept his normal pace on our quick shop! And I just caught up with him between BHs!DS(3yo) was just nonplussed about whole thing. Comedy family.

have vey casually told work(off on a duvet day today) that i'm having practice contractions but it's not the real thing.

But then I started to wonder!

Are BH supposed to be low down in bump too and no noticeable hardening of bump?
