My 1st baby had IUGR and was born weighing 4lb 12oz at 38 weeks. I had all the testing done afterwards and they couldn't find any clotting disorders etc. My placenta had starting packing in by around 29 weeks I think and my DS struggled to grow after that. Anyway, I am now about 5 wks pg again and I wondered what people's experiences were with subsequent pregnancies. I have an apt. with my consultant at 6w6d- I hope I make it that far.

Hi

My ds was stillborn at 28 wks due to placenta packing up, they think it may not have been working oroperly for few weeks, 2nd pg i was very closely monitored and my dd was born at 35 wks, weighing 4lb 15, which is good weight apparantly even tho she still looked tiny but had no health problems was tube fed for 4 days, also i was on baby asprin which may help againt clotting problems, hope you have a happy healthy pg this time round

hi, my sister had her first baby who had IUGR in 1996, he was born weighing in at 4lb13...she then fell pregnant with her daughter who also had IUGR, but she was bigger weighing in at 5lb5.
both were born at 37 weeks gestation and are now almost 11 and almost 9 and very healthy

sending hugs your way and hoping for a healthy pregnancy for you
