Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Elf is awesome! Looking forward to Christmas purely for this fact alone.

I've done bugger all Christmas shopping - think online shopping might be the way forward, can't see myself trudging round the shops on mat leave.... Confused

Thanks for the birth story Furry. Well done - only gas and air is amazing! Grin Did we get Ness's yet?? Wink

Babypopz is super active tonight after Lazy Daisy as usual. Don't know if its all the deep breathing or the instructor's voice or what!!

9pm is the new 11pm La Wink I used to be lucky to make it to 8.30 Shock

RPopz · 25/11/2014 21:28

Any exciting plans for tomorrow La? I love York Smile Sisterpopz is at uni there Grin

RPopz · 25/11/2014 21:30

Also, wil LOL... I was convinced the baby had dropped/ engaged yesterday... had all this heavy bearing down pressure, walking bent over the lot... Turns out I just needed a MASSIVE dump.

ZylaB · 25/11/2014 21:32

Lol rpopz

Leela5 · 25/11/2014 21:42

Looking forward to chilling out! Last time I saw mum I was pregnant the first time. I just want a hug to be honest and a lot of tea drinking and sofa time

wilmabedrock · 25/11/2014 21:46

I think the Christmas Eve box sounds quite fun but will leave it until next year as will only get home half an hour before MiniWil's bedtime this year so no point really. Suppose I could do pyjamas and a book.

Furry apart from the stop/start nature of it, that's not a horrendous birth story. Hurrah! Do you feel ok about it? Will pop to mobile site shortly as presume there is a pic to get emotional over see.

KatoPotato · 25/11/2014 21:49

God, first work related pregnancy fail. Was all set to head to London for a new clinic launch on Thursday with work but I sat down today to piece together my travel arrangements and realised I'd have to leave the house (looking good) at 5am and get back home at 11pm. Planes trains and tube at rush hour for the sake of some canapés and networking.

Nearly started crying but went to my boss instead who's told me to take the day off and screw the lots of them! Said there's no direct positive impact to our site if I go or not and I've to have a lovely day off instead.

On one hand I'm so relived and grateful but no I just feel like a daft pregnant woman who can't do her job anymore.

wilmabedrock · 25/11/2014 21:49

Aw La, that's sad but it'll be lovely catching up.

Haha Popz. Don't they say you're supposed to feel lighter once you've dropped? I should try a day of not eating much. I bet I would feel ten times better.

RPopz · 25/11/2014 21:55

Aw, bless you La - does she know about LaBean yet? Smile

Haha Wil I know right... I'd probably feel amazing if I could ever get my head out of a bloody biscuit tin...

wilmabedrock · 25/11/2014 22:04

It's cakes for me Sad .

That OP on the Christmas thread is ridiculous. Also why would you feel the need to start a thread about that? Do people really give a shit about what other people buy their kids? I can only hope the dvds came in a set. Also loved the 14m old who is getting about 5 different toot toot sets. Hope they have a lot of floor space.

wilmabedrock · 25/11/2014 22:06

She is so little and sweet Furry.

Nessalina · 26/11/2014 01:01

Evening viroids. Drama here! Have been admitted to hospital! Shock
Been bleeding a lot more today, then this evening passed some epic clots... Thought best to call hospital and they got me in to check me over. Examined me and cervix isn't quite closed - likely that I have a big clot in there, or I've retained some placenta... They're going to scan me in the morning to see. They had to put a cannula in so they can easily give fluids etc if it gets worse. It was sooo painful - I cried like a baby Sad Horrible. I don't think the doctor would have believed that I gave birth with just G&A! Grin

Do it Fleur! I love OBEM. Even more now I've done it! It's a really good series on the Sky on Demand at the minute, S3 I think! The pool that I actually gave birth in is in loads of the episodes! Smile I agree with Popz though, far too many of the births are on the back, medical affairs - they could do with showing some more active/natural births.

Promise I'll post my birth story soon! I'm nearly done, I'm incapable of concise, so you're getting an essay Blush

I'm doomed for getting Xmas shopping done Confused Amazon will be my friend!

Leela5 · 26/11/2014 01:34

Ness I hope you're ok? You poor thing. I had a canular put in each time I was sent to hospital during mc :( they are awful. When I went to A&E they put one in and I had to walk to epu with it in my arm. So sore! So I really know how you feel! Not nice. How long you got to stay in for?

Is mini ness with you?

Popz yes she knows but we are not being excited until after scans

I've woken up feeling like af is coming. Been to loo and all ok but I'm a bit uncomfortable. This type if pg pain is normal right? I'm scared coz I've got to lump suitcase to York on trains tomorro and I'm scared it'll trigger something

FurryScoob · 26/11/2014 02:06

Flowers la it's crap how AF & early pregnancy symptoms are so similar, hopefully it's just the bean getting comfy.

ness are you feeling ill too? Hope they get you sorted quickly. Cannulas are shit, I cried & nearly passed out having one put in last week, you have my sympathy.

Nessalina · 26/11/2014 04:42

Glad I'm not the only one traumatised by it! The doctor was so blasé about it Hmm oh we'll 'just' pop a cannula in...

I feel ok in myself, which is good. J is with me - just having his early morning snack Smile

La - I thought we banned you from thinking after midnight? Wink It is frustrating that early pg and AF feel virtually the same! How's a viroid to relax??

wilmabedrock · 26/11/2014 06:33

Oh God Ness, this is not what you need. Hope all is ok. When I was in labour they had to try 5 times to get the blooming cannula in. My arm was purple for weeks. Then once in, I ripped it out during a contraction (accidentally). They were unamused.

La, cramps are normal. Repeat until daylight. Does your suitcase have wheels? If it makes you worry less, I lift a toddler every day which may be comparable to a suitcase (depending on how many pairs of shoes you have Grin ).

I wish I started work at ten or something.

Leela5 · 26/11/2014 06:47

Aaaah it's early and dark!

Yes I know. Bad me.

ZylaB · 26/11/2014 06:51

ness hope you're ok!

I want to go back to sleep but the cats keep insisting on cuddles! It's nice, but still....

Leela5 · 26/11/2014 06:54

Ness how long are you there for?

TheBooMonster · 26/11/2014 06:55

Oh gods Nes that's the last thing you need, hope they can get you sorted so you and J can get back home soon. Canula's are awful, doctors gave me a local cos I made such a fuss last time they gave me one!

teejayem · 26/11/2014 07:02

Also have needy kitties here zyla had one kneading and nudging me since about 5.... Hmm it's sweet but not when you've had broken sleep!
Ness! You poor sausage, hope you don't feel too bad and they are making you comfortable xx

ChatEnOeuf · 26/11/2014 07:06

Ness I hope you're ok and you have J with you. Cannulas are such part and parcel of life in hospital that almost everyone gets one on arrival (paeds aside, where we actually think about what the patient needs). Sounds reasonable if you're passing clots though.

La, yes can be v normal. Maddening isn't it. Be gentle with yourself, use the lifts and ask for help from strong-looking gentlemen if you like Grin I watched Frozen on an aeroplane. It was ok, but I wasn't amazed by it. Lego movie was better on the return journey.

Furry lovely hearing about how S arrived :) Well done!

Kato your boss sounds great - that would be an epic day for anyone. Enjoy the day off!

laurenamium · 26/11/2014 07:07

Wow I got an early night and you lot have chatted lots! Grin

I hope you get home soon ness!

I need my bed, I'm so so tired Sad I had the worst nights sleep ever, between DD waking and me not sleeping because of my cough I think I got about an hour in!

Leela5 · 26/11/2014 07:16

My kitties are scratching door downstairs wanting me to release them!

Pisghetti · 26/11/2014 07:26

Hope you get sorted quickly Ness! My mum thinks her fear of needles put her into labour when she went in to be induced with me. But she had a PPH a few days later so probably ended up with one then...

Kato your boss sounds great! I've become much fussier about my away days and times.

La make use of a rucksack if you have one to keep your suitcase weight down. Hope you have a lovely time away.

I haven't seen Frozen. Went to hunger games last night. Our local cinema is unbelievably crap! The heating was broken so we kept our coats and gloves on. At least they've dropped the ticket prices a bit - less than a tenner for me and DS. Win!
