Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Bless you fresh I know that feeling and I've had lots of extra scans so I have no idea at all how people who have 12 week and 20 week scans only cope! 3 weeks today until my next!

RPopz · 26/11/2014 20:20

Yay, glad you're home and well Ness Smile Bloody annoying about the cannula!

RPopz · 26/11/2014 20:22

VIROIDS! I need some non- lame baby shower game ideas... Apparently people are actually expecting a properly organised baby shower next weekend... Shock

ChatEnOeuf · 26/11/2014 20:44

Lovely to have you here, Before. I haven't got my mat wear out the loft yet - using a hair bobble to extend my jeans and some gadget to extend my trousers. Definitely much more comfy - and slightly less nauseous - since then! I like Red Herring at Debenhams for clothes last time, as well as H&M. New Look surprised me (they were quite nice), as did Next (they were very poor).

Lovely to hear you're being spoiled by your LaMa Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 26/11/2014 20:46

Popz, we filled a bottle with Jelly babies - how many babies in the bottle? There was also the inevitable guess the date/sex/weight sweepstakes and my sister made pin the sperm on the egg. Good food and some delicious cupcakes topped it off :)

DulcetMoans · 26/11/2014 20:48

Evening all! I am here, sorry. Just stupid work and not felt I had much positive to say (bad head space!) Then spent the last hour catching up!

So sorry about your dad min, hopefully you are on your way or there now (not sure how long the journey is!) and with your family.

Great news on the hungry little one cookie! I'm with him on the tummy sleep too...

Glad you have an answer and some drugs nessa! Piss poor form on the cannula though - I've not had one either and hope I never have to listening to you lot. Yuck!

Pleased to announce, kind of, that I have a chocolate aversion this time. Can't even think about having diary milk at the moment but am beginning to consider if I might like some white chocolate.

DulcetMoans · 26/11/2014 20:50

Oh and baby shower... Only things I have done at baby shower are:

Sweepstake
Melted choc on nappies
Guess the flavour of the baby food
Write a message on a baby grow

Not sure they are what you want popz really... Try Pinterest!

Leela5 · 26/11/2014 20:54

Hooray! Before and Dulcet nice to see you again!

Glad you're home ness and that Eli is ok cookie. Ness that sounds sore :(

I can't put my finger in food aversions but there's lots I'd normally be keen to eat and now don't fancy so much.

Just went for Chinese and now have massive food baby bump

wilmabedrock · 26/11/2014 21:18

Before I'm a short-arse and I wear h&m trousers and jeans. The jeans are far too long but if you get skinny jeans and wear boots then noone can tell. New look jeans come in shorter lengths and are ok but not as comfy. I wear leggings and dresses/tunics too. Most of my tops are non-maternity as I had some unfitted ones anyway. Best maternity tops are h&m for casual stuff I think. Red Herring have some nice jumpers and are quite good in general. Debenhams quite good for jackets too. I found ASOS stuff to be massive and swamped me, all far too long. Seraphine can be ok if you get the smallest size. I have a couple of ASDA things which again were too big but ok by third trimester.

Ness, infection sounds rubbish. Hope you're not feeling too awful. Great that you're home.

Popz it is not your job to organise your own baby shower. You are supposed to nominate a friend or two. The ones I have been to we haven't really played any games, mostly ate and chatted. We did do a thing where everyone brought a photo of them as a baby or toddler and everyone had to guess who was who. That was quite painless. I say serve cake and noone will give a shit about games.

RPopz · 26/11/2014 21:18

I can't inflict the nappy one on people... it makes me want to vom! Grin I think original/ non-lame baby shower activities just don't exist... I've only ever been to two, and between them I think we did every baby shower game in existence Hmm

I seem to have come full circle on food. Feeling sicky a lot again and don't really fancy any foods. I make all these grand culinary plans when I'm sat at work and then end up getting home and having half a packet of chocolate raisins and some cheese on toast for tea... Hmm Feel a bit guilty for not feeding minipopz very well.

freshstart4us · 26/11/2014 22:03

Popz I agree your maid of honour or similar should be organising the games! I was so lucky, my girls are creative and came up with some really fun things. We had a mummy handbag check, points for hair brush and ties, tissues, painkillers, pics of family, etc. Also a quiz about baby stuff, the ubiquitous sweep on date/weight/name and one or two others plus drinks and yummy food kept us entertained for the afternoon. It was just lovely, I felt so spoilt!

Leela5 · 27/11/2014 03:51

Woke up having weird dreams about turtles. Now can hear mum snoring from other room...

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 06:12

Normal ones La or the teenage mutant ninja variety?

No weird dreams here, but been awake ages. No snoring either but MrWil has left the heat up so I'm too warm.

ZylaB · 27/11/2014 06:46

I had a weird dream about going to some barren, hot, burny land on some sort of research expedition and it turning into a survival type film, people dying in lava, animals eating them....I need to write a film! :)

TheBooMonster · 27/11/2014 07:09

Gosh zyla did you wake up more tired than you were when you went to bed? I'm ready to go back to bed just thinking about it!

Got a grand total of 6 hours sleep last night instead of my normal 9 because I was still up doing party prep till 12:30 >.< sure it will be totally worth it... DH's lack of communication skills have made up look super unorganised though. he's been talking to some of the parents for weeks and only last night gave the address for the place, the time to turn up, and a suggestion that people might like to bring their favourite party dish (at 10pm!!) but no indication of what we're providing other than the rainbow cake I've been plastering all over Facebook bloody men this is information I've had and been trying to convey to him since the beginning dramatic sigh he really thought we'd be there at noon despite the scan being at 9:50, us also needing to see the consultant and it taking us about half an hour to get from the hospital back home and then another half hour once all loaded up to get to the venue!

TheBooMonster · 27/11/2014 07:11

Bah part of that wall of text vanished. Too tired to fix. Should say "DH had been talking to the other parents for weeks..." Going to get coffee

laurenamium · 27/11/2014 07:40

Popz what about pin the sperm on the egg? If its your baby shower though someone else should definitely be sorting the games out! DD woke up at 5 so I moved the blanket and pillow to the sofa and got another 2 hours sleep in while she watched tv...I love that she's a little more independent, going back to the baby stage is going to be a shock! Grin

DulcetMoans · 27/11/2014 07:53

Joining the weird dream brigade. Last night I was in a war but we were on some sort of intelligence station on a boat. We couldn't see out the window so opened the door which went straight to the sea and I didn't think that was safe... Better than the MC dream the night before... Hmm

Can we see a picture of the cake boo?!

FurryScoob · 27/11/2014 08:20

I don't get to sleep long enough to dream. Just been sat stroking the tv remote instead of the cat!

Glad your home ness & on the mend but boo to the cannula for no reason.

Pisghetti · 27/11/2014 08:50

Morning viroids. Had a few shuffles from mini Pis last night so didn't bother calling the MW and quite justly ended up bawling down the phone at them this morning because I'd felt nothing since bedtime. They were lovely and gave me a check over and mini Pis's heart is beating merrily away but it looks like she's turned a bit hence why I can't feel her much at the moment. I've now pulled myself together enough to go to work. Bit out of sorts as I don't really do crying as a rule so I'm not used to it.

Glad all is ok Ness

Good luck with the party Boo

Nessalina · 27/11/2014 08:55

Good grief! J slept 12:30-7:30! Shock Am obviously now worrying that there's something horribly wrong with him... Grin

Pisghetti · 27/11/2014 08:56

DS was a great sleeper. Enjoy it!

Nessalina · 27/11/2014 08:56

Ooh XP!
Glad all is ok Pis! Good work going to get checked out, definitely better to be safe than sorry. And totally reasonable to be emotional in that situation! Xxx

laurenamium · 27/11/2014 08:59

Ah excellent news on the sleeping ness Grin did you wake up anyway or do you now feel like a new human? I found with DD that even if she slept I still woke up Hmm

Hope you're okay pis! I get what you mean about the crying. I balled my eyes out last night because I was sick of coughing and I must be annoying the baby because it can hear Grin and felt awful afterwards!

Thinking of minion and family too if she's reading!

Nessalina · 27/11/2014 10:33

I was sort of dozing, thinking 'I must wake up and feed him, but I'm so comfy!' Then I heard DH get up, and I was like 'huh? Wha? Whatimeizzit??' Grin
He's just eaten for an hour, pooed, eaten, pooed, snoozed, and pooed again. Making up for lost time!!
