Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

aud I keep getting hot flushes and face going beetroot mainly after eating - bit embarrassing! And yes am starting to feel tired, just last couple days feel exhausted from doing very little! And have been sleeping like a baby. Better that than my normal insomnia though! Perhaps pregnancy will be good for my sleep haha!

Number3cometome · 14/11/2014 21:06

Hey Sherbet!!

Saw my GP, she was 35 mins late and I was nearly in tears!!
She swapped my beta blockers for a pregnancy safe type and prescribed me baby aspirin. I'm booked in with the midwife for 6 weeks who will then refer me for a scan at 8 weeks and consultant appointment. This will be my only midwife visit as I am full consultant care. Hoping to be transferred to Kings College hospital again but that will depend on what they think.
Feel sick this evening, dizzy and nauseous bad lots of stretching aching.
Must have peed and knicker checked a thousand times today! Love to you all x

Lucaslovesfelicity · 14/11/2014 21:07

Hi can I join too please. Got BFP on the 25th October and Midwife has given me an EDD of 2nd July xx

GingerbreadHead · 14/11/2014 21:25

Wow Lucas you've seen the midwife already?!
Am I the only one that is delaying contacting the midwife/gp? I was thinking I would just ring when I am about 6 weeks and she will book me in for soon after? Guess I ought to do it sooner then incase she's busy....
God number me too, I am obsessed with knicker checking. I was with the whole pregnancy with DD too. Have been getting bouts of nausea, feeling exhausted today, nearly fell asleep in my sandwich at lunch! Also been having a few dizzy spells.
I had a dream last night that we had a little boy and decided to call him Charlie Grin He came early though so DH missed the birth! and my in laws in my dream didn't look anything like my actual in-laws.......Hmm I love crazy pregnancy dreams!! Anyone else had any?
Oh and thank you for the list want! 63 of us, bloody hell, July is going to be a busy month!!

SophieBarringtonWard · 14/11/2014 21:31

GingerbreadHead I haven't booked in yet & I am nearly 8 weeks (because I am having a complicated time trying to book in with a case loading midwifery service instead of the community midwives). There is no harm booking in now, but equally I figure there is no harm in leaving it a while... I've always booked in around 6-7 weeks before and it's been fine.

TouchPauseEngage · 15/11/2014 07:27

Morning all and hello new joiners!

Nice to see lots of EDD's for my birthday (24th July)!

So yesterday was a 14.5hr working day. I got home at 11pm, exhausted and fell into bed, only to wake up at 12, 3 and finally 6am. I was so looking forward to a lie in Angry

How is everyone else feeling? Anyone else have the weird lumps on their nipples? That's something I wasn't expecting...

JoY007 · 15/11/2014 08:08

Hello everyone, exciting times!! The horrid mood swings, during the day I feel low and irritable, then I have a high in the evening when the nausea tends to disappear. Finding it hard to drink tap water bought evian instead and appletizer, at least that would help achieve the fluid intake.

Strange though I find my exercise spinning class makes my nausea in the morning disappear, only during the class :-) the tiredness is what is killing me right now, tempted to tell my boss, so I can work from home on some days. Anyone feeling same way?

WantToGoingTo · 15/11/2014 08:16

touch that is me due on your birthday! :)

JoY yes the mods swings are starting for me now... DH I coping surprisingly well! I have been a right bitch to him the last few days flirting from angry and upset to quiet and tired to excited! Gosh I am tired this morning, and I have slept 10hrs.

Officially af day today and absolutely no sign Grin so paranoid that af would turn up despite 4 a pregnancy test telling me otherwise!

Happy Saturday all!

TouchPauseEngage · 15/11/2014 08:30

wanto its a fantastic day to be born. Picnic birthday parties, no school on your birthday etc!

I must admit I had a minor wobble about having a summer baby as I did struggle when I was younger but as DH (a teacher) pointed out, I'm dyslexic and would be if I was born in September and I managed to get a degree. That shut me up! Plus, all being well EDD is the day DH breaks up for 2 months so we'll tackle the first sleep deprived months together!

I had my first major mood swing on Thursday- I was ranting at DH about how bored I was and that I felt crap all the time. DH was going to rugby training so bundled me in the car and took me to my mums for some tlc. Was v embarrassed when I calmed down!

Bustherb · 15/11/2014 09:02

Yes gingerbread I'm having some very random dreams. Before getting pregnant I did dream a few times in the night anyway but not as vivid as the dreams I'm having! Dreamt last night my dad told me I had 10 step bro and sisters and I ended up spending the evening eating cream cakes .... Random! I have also had the very vivid baby dreams too! One about my baby talking as I gave birth! Anyone else not expect how much your boobs are hurting?? Mine are so painful!! Confused Xx

TouchPauseEngage · 15/11/2014 09:09

bustherb mine are like painful boulders! They feel huge though compared to most people they are still beestings. They are worst first thing in the morning whe it feels like my nipples are being tugged on!

Zampa · 15/11/2014 09:12

Bustherb My boobs are achey\heavy when I'm not wearing a bra. I've already gone up a cup size and I'm sleeping in a non-wired bra, which helps. Otherwise it's painful every time I roll over!

WantToGoingTo · 15/11/2014 09:15

Yes oh the boob pain! I have never had painful boobs in my life not even before af. They are all a laches and my nipples are permanently like bullets :S hope this doesn't stick around for all 8 months as I can't let DH near them!

247babyonthebrain · 15/11/2014 09:35

I am still waiting for the boob pain (not that i want it to come!). First challenge of the day is going to pub later to watch the rugby with friends and not drinking!

Touch my DH is a teacher too so timing wise hopefully he will have just finished school for 6 weeks!

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday x

TouchPauseEngage · 15/11/2014 09:42

247 I think we're very lucky - though DH is a bit peed off he won't get two weeks paternity!

VirtualPointyHat · 15/11/2014 10:59

New symptom - my nails are destroyed. Breaking at the tiniest thing

SophieBarringtonWard · 15/11/2014 11:08

Touch look into it but I think you can take paternity at a delayed point so possible he could book his paternity for the first two weeks of term? Might feel a bit cheeky though! I had a friend who had a baby at Easter but her husband only took his paternity during half term.

My boobs have lost all sensitivity over their 5 years of breastfeeding! They didn't even get engorged when my milk came in with DC2. So while they are fuller and looking good it's nothing like the painful tenderness I had with DC1.

Bustherb · 15/11/2014 11:33

I'm glad it's not just me, I remember when I was symptom watching before I got pregnant thinking 'my boobs hurt a lot today' not as much as they actually do hurt!!! Shock Wasn't expecting just quite how much! I'm off to get fitted again today see if I can get some comfy bras xxx

Number3cometome · 15/11/2014 13:15

Hey 247 and Lucas!

Feeling symptomless this morning but very energetic? Stocked up on decaf tea and weighed myself not in that order I've lost 2lb!
Not really been too hungry to be fair and an empty coleslaw shudders pot made me feel like I was going to puke earlier.
Still achey / stretchy feeling ongoing.
Keep reminding myself this is number 3, I should know what's happening!
still done another test this morning to make sure I'm pregnant
Anyone else going through mental torment?

TouchPauseEngage · 15/11/2014 13:15

Sophie to be honest as he gets 9 weeks off in the summer I think after spending every day with each other we'll both be ready to kill each other for some time apart by September.

Number3cometome · 15/11/2014 13:17

Ps this is probably tmi, but does anyone else have implants? I had an uplift and implants 4 years ago and not quite sure how this will affect erm things?
I didn't have them when I had DS and DD (breast feeding made the decision for me)

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 15/11/2014 13:21

It's good to know that is normal Sophie, my boobs are nothing like as painful as last time, bigger and a bit tender but totally manageable. I've been worrying about it but I bfed DS for 22 months and only stopped about 6 months ago so maybe that's why. I also have a lovely combination of nausea, dizziness and bloating to reassure me today Hmm
For those who had to be referred through the GP, how long did it take for the midwives to contact you? I handed in my form a week and a half ago and have heard nothing, with my last pregnancy they lost the form so I'm worried it's happened again!

WantToGoingTo · 15/11/2014 13:52

mister I called GP on Monday and midwife phoned me on wednesday

Sarice · 15/11/2014 15:10

waves. Hello everyone can I join you? I'm 5+3 with my 2nd so think I'm due 15th July.

Sherbet38 · 15/11/2014 15:44

Mister the midwife called me the day after I handed the form in. I'd chase them at 2 weeks I think.
