A few babies have already arrived, with more due to make their entrance soon, and it's not even September yet!

Sorry laura I missed your post in the madness this morning, congratulations.

Congratulations to you too dinah, our girls are birthday buddies. Evelyn is beautiful and what a lovely name x

lilone1234 · 30/08/2014 17:18

Massive congratulations to theonly and dinah on the dramatic entrances of Elizabeth and Evelyn - both beautiful little girls and such beautiful names too!

theonly I told my DP that your baby arrived 8 minutes after you arrived at the hospital. He said "You can't leave it that late." I did say that I don't think that was the intention! Wink

Congratulations Dinah, Laura & the only. These babies are certainly arriving thick & fast. I want a quick labour but that's scarily quick!

LH1981 · 30/08/2014 17:31

Still no progress here - I am very grumpy! Contractions stopped now so just waiting to see if anything happens tonight. Grrrr!

Good luck to all the c-secs coming up - although cs terrifies me, it must be nice knowing your exact date! I think I'd handle this much better if someone could tell me that baby was coming on weds or whatever x

Congratulations on all the new babies!

xxmissbrightsidexx · 30/08/2014 18:20

Congratulations Laura, Seven & Dinah.
Can't believe how many babies have arrived, also can't believe its bloody September tomorrow, due date month arrrrgh lol xx

Acorncat · 30/08/2014 18:35

Gosh, more babies! Congratulations! Some of these birth stories are a little scary! It's a good illustration of the different ways it happens. The antenatal classes makes it sound so textbook when it clearly rarely is.

IAteSomeofthePies · 30/08/2014 18:36

Wow, congrats Laura theonly and Dinah!! These babies are coming thick and fast now.

I'm trying to enjoy my last weekend of pregnancy. Nothing too exciting - lots of lounging around!

IAteSomeofthePies · 30/08/2014 18:38

It's not September til Monday, MissB! Lol. I'm counting down...

xxmissbrightsidexx · 30/08/2014 19:11

Oh I feel daft now IAte lmao. I'm so messed up with my days lately haha x

slithytove · 30/08/2014 19:26

I'm taking epo, one orally and one as a pessary
Doubt it will do much :)

slithytove · 30/08/2014 19:27

I'm quite excited about it being September, I'll be able to think "I'm having a baby this month"!

cbmb12 · 30/08/2014 19:36

Thank you everyone! It all went VERY fast - first contractions at 6:30am, and he was born at 12:20pm, and although I planned to have an epidural, I ended up having him in the birthing pool with no pain relief! Which was great in some ways, but goddamn its painful!
PLacenta wouldnt detach though, so although I avoided pain relief for the birth, I had to have a double spinal and a 'manual removal' afterwards in theatre. Luckily all obstretrics team were amazing and we are all back home after 24 hours.

IAteSomeofthePies · 30/08/2014 19:49

Don't feel daft, MissB! My induction is 1st Sept if these cramps don't mean something so I've got that date in the diary!

RedToothBrush · 30/08/2014 19:53

Ooooo congrats cbmb12.

CumbrianExile · 30/08/2014 20:12

slithytove · 30/08/2014 20:25

Congrats!

ilovemonstersinc · 30/08/2014 20:31

Congratulations to all that have delivered today! The babiea are adorable!

Can't remember who was scared of pooing and being untidy down there the mws dont really seem to care. My sis shit herself in labour. Her hubby told everyone and tbe mw just changed the plastic sheets and didnt say a word.
Tmi but I wasn't too tidy down there. Dh said why didnt you let me sort that out after I delivered, I didnt care and the mw didn't say anything. She gave me a big hug and kiss after I delivered so she wasnt phased at all.

Baby monster has had it a lil rough due to jaundice weigjt loss and poor weight gain. Hes getting weighed on tues again and more bloods (prolonged jaundice test) anyone with any experience?

good luck red

TheOnlySeven · 30/08/2014 20:39

Sorry to hear about the jaundice ilove, the blood tests really are awful aren't they? No experience of jaundice but my three preemies had plenty of blood tests to check their blood sugar levels.

Congrats cbmb sounds like yours was on the fast side too. It really hurts without pain relief doesn't it? I just had G&A with both DDs but not even time for that this time, only had two contractions in the delivery room!

We're home anyway and she's feeding quite well, first time I've ever been allowed home the same day and it's so good not being away from the other DCs, the older two are completely besotted with her already.

dontevenblink · 30/08/2014 20:46

Congratulations dinah and seven!! Thanks Glad they both arrived safely despite the rush!

I'm starting to get really nervous about wed now, think its finally starting to sink in that I'm going to have another baby and very soon...!

dontevenblink · 30/08/2014 20:47

Sorry, congratulations cbmb too! Thanks

lilone1234 · 30/08/2014 21:31
