SKYTVADICT · 08/09/2006 09:39

Morning Meggalache - join us on the due in May thread.

I mc in April too and have loads of worries. Some days are fine - others !!!

geordiemacminx · 08/09/2006 09:45

We all worry about the same things... especially since we got a few weeks until the "12 week wonder" mark. There are quite a few people (me inc) that have had m/c's.. mine was in June. We were just saying yesterday everytwinge makes you worry like mad. I worry about them, I worry about sickness, worry about not having sickness, world peace, etc etc etc. You could always contact your local hospital and see if they can book you in for an early scan.. I have mine next thursday. I tohught you had to be refered by the doctor but at my local hospital this isnt the case, especially if you have been before. I cant wait for mine, just hoping and praying that they'll be able to see the heart. Hoping that it will make me worry a bit less but in reality I know it wont!!! We are all in the same boat here, whenever you feel like a rant or whatever then remember we are here!!!

Hi all, lovely bright morning again. done my housework, Megglevache, where in kent are you? i maidstone, we doing a kent meet at bluewater 22nd sept if you up for it, john lewis cafe, kids included.Bout ten i think. Anyone tried sea bands for the naseau(sp?) i did with 2nd son and found they helped a bit, just enough to carry on with day without making everyone else around me feel depressed aswell!! Pregnancy is fab isn't it?

geordiemacminx · 08/09/2006 10:41

I bought my bands yesterday and havent dared take them off.... have lovely little indentations in my wrists now!!! I dont think they have completely cured me, but as you said, they have helped enough to enable me to get out of bed without wanting to heave!!!! Have ordered som preggy pops... they havent arrived yet.. will let you know how I get on.

Anyone in here live in scotland/north east england btw?

mummymelling · 08/09/2006 10:48

try to be pos about the nausea... its a healthy sign that there are lots of hormones maintaining the baby...xx

geordiemacminx · 08/09/2006 10:53

I know. Before I had m/c I never had any sickness so I keep praying that this means that everything is going ok. I so desparatly want to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy, i'm just finding it a little difficult with constant sickness!!

mummymelling · 08/09/2006 11:27

GEORDIE....trust me the sickness is good, try herbal teas with ginger in them and ginger biscuits made with stem ginger[homemade style]not ginger nuts lol.eat small but frequent meals, try to avoid anything greasy or overly spicy.

geordiemacminx · 08/09/2006 11:30

Got ginger biscuits, sea bands and preggy pops on the way.. not managing to eat much... but strangley enough trousers are getting very tight... dp thinks I am having a litter!!!
To be honest if it meant that in 7 1/2 months I would have a helathy baby then I would quite happily feel like this every day!
