Donteven your spring is im sept Shock
I know it's pretty similar for Australia as well isnt it? Used to seem weird when db would say its freezing in Australia when it was our summer!

Haf periody pains and the odd contraction last night so sat in a hot bath, paracetamol and hot water managed to keep the pain bearable

lol ilove we've been out here over 2 1/2 years and I still haven't got my head around it! I have to keep asking friends when the seasons are Grin I think Australia is the same us, weirdest thing is the summer, which starts beg Dec, everyone goes on about how Christmassy it is when it gets hot and all the berries come in season, whereas to us Christmas in the sun just feels wrong - it feels like it should be Christmas now, especially as I'm sat in front of the fire at the mo! One time I really miss the UK, but we spend Christmas on the beach instead as we live right next to it, then literally everyone disappears on holiday...

Glad to hear the pains have settled down a bit now for you.

missbrightside make sure you do keep posting, always keen to see how everyone is Smile

xxmissbrightsidexx · 18/07/2014 17:47

I've been for about 50 wees today, cos baby's playing footy with my bladder lol x gonna sound random but does anyone's bump feel numb? Mine does I can't explain it lol xx

whiteblossom · 18/07/2014 18:57

Hey everyone,
Im not feeling at all well. Nausea and tiredness- my dh got up at some ungodly hour this morning so Im down 2 hours sleep and the heat is starting to get to me now. (its 28 d in one of the bedrooms!)

Ive got a antenatal class tomorrow which is 4 hours long and I just know there wont be air con. It goes on over lunch but ive no idea if Im to take any food, Ive no details and when I booked it the lady on the phone had no idea as she didn't run the class- helpful! After that I have a three hour drive to a family party.

Im going to the antenatal class on my own, do you think Ill be the only one and it will be full of couples? Im really not bothered about dh coming with me and Iknow its not his thing and he did great first time around...

Ella, I have too, I have to keep my hands spread out over bump with firm pressure to try and calm him down at times, baby arches his back out which is very uncomfy and I have to push him back in! Elbows scraping across urgh. baby is right under my ribs this afternoon and its not pleasant.

wow what a moan that was!

Acorncat · 18/07/2014 20:10

Glad I'm not the only one who's getting a little uncomfy with the "movement". I swear mine is trying to come out my belly button bum first Hmm

After reading about everyone getting their bags packed I'm almost tempted to start mine, 33w shortly. Though I actually need to buy stuff to put it in. And buy the bag of course. Maybe next weekend or the one after.

I only have 4 weeks of work left, that alone is a terrifying thought! Every time I refresh the page I'm waiting for Ilove to have given birth, glad little one is hanging on in the inside for now.

cookielove · 18/07/2014 20:21

Hello all, I am too tired!

The babies movements although still are great to feel, does feel like he is trying to break me sometimes Shock

Topsyloulou · 18/07/2014 21:02

Snap Acorn, this little man is always sticking his bum out. He also likes trying to kick his way out of my belly button.

Read on one of my apps today that I'll start to feel less movement now he's bigger but if anything I'm feeling more!

Does anyone else get the baby trying to kick things off if you rest something on the bump? Was trying to read a book last night & he was constantly kicking it off.

KitKat1985 · 18/07/2014 21:03

I'm so tired too. I swear I need to pee about ten times a night now so I don't feel like I've slept properly in days. Sad

AlwaysandForever09 · 18/07/2014 21:23

Hey everyone,
Glad you got some answers ilove how many weeks are you now?
I've been getting quite strong braxton hicks quite a lot this past week, don't remember them like this with my DS! I've made a start on packing my bag today, it's quite hard to know what to put in for the baby, will it be warm still say mid sept? And also depends how big he is as bump is very big now! How's everyone coping in this heat?
topsy I had that last night had the iPad resting on bump and he was kicking it off lol, so funny to watch isn't it. Here's my bump last week, I'm 32+1 now though.

September 2014 reaching the final stretch!
ilovemonstersInc · 18/07/2014 21:38

Always im 34 weeks today.

acorn if im honest id rather have him out than worry the way I am about him. Once hes in front of me then I can help him even more.

Im with those who are uncomfortable!
He is rather head down atm too which makes me look even worse when walking.

Morning ladies! Lovely bump pics. Here is mine from last week, at nearly 34w. I'm 34+4 today.

First day of school hols and maternity leave today, yipppeeeee!! So happy I made it lol. Although officially my maternity leave starts on my due date on 26th August.

I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable walking now due to occasional sharp pains up my woo and needing a wee almost constantly haha. Going shopping today with my mum to get stuff for my hospital bag - hope to have it packed this weekend with a bit of luck.

Hope you're okay ilove!

Hopefully all this rain will mean it's a bit cooler today.... ! Might try and get some cheap massive maxi dresses too today as I have a feeling that this hot weather may continue Hmm

Have a good day everyone :)

CumbrianExile · 19/07/2014 09:46

Oh no Ilove. I seem to be addicted to McFlurrys! Do you think that counts as Mr Whippy Ice Cream???

Teabiscuits · 19/07/2014 10:12

cumbrian it's to do with the machines not being properly clean, and a big chain like McDonald's will have machines that get dismantled and sanitised every night so you should be fine.

33 weeks today, im with those of you saying it's uncomfortable sometimes, and I have a small baby in there! The stamping up and down on my cervix is about the worst of it, oh and sometimes when I walk I get a weird twinge in my groin which makes my right leg give out for a second Confused . I haven't fallen over yet though so all good. Hubby is working approximatey 200 hours in the next 5 days (ok that's exaggerating but that's how it feels!) so im on my own with the kids and all the end of term stuff, the endless assemblies and huge junk model creations being sent home. It's all very lovely, but it's all a pain in the arse when I have a mile to walk to school with a 1 yr old in the pushchair. I just hope it stays a bit cooler like today!

top well done on making it to the end - my last day was last Friday Smile . As for maxi dresses, primark had some for £10, and when I paid they were down to £8.90! Bargain!

CumbrianExile · 19/07/2014 10:15

Good point Tea. Its costing me a fortune though haha.

KitKat1985 · 19/07/2014 10:32

Ugh. I feel really rough today. Have developed a crap cold since yesterday evening which normally I would just get on with, but combined with tiredness from not being able to sleep, the heat, and being heavily pregnant I just feel really light-headed and spacey. More than once last night I got up to pee and nearly passed out (I have low BP anyway so always have a tendency to be a bit light-headed but this was silly). And I have to work this weekend because I am the only qualified nurse on duty so it'll be a nightmare for work if I phone in sick. Am hoping some paracetamol will help. Sorry for the rant.

xxmissbrightsidexx · 19/07/2014 10:58

Did any of you ladies brave the next sale when it opened lol x I managed to get some first size bits online for my princess so I'm happy enough lol xx

cookielove · 19/07/2014 15:18

I didn't even know next was doing a sale, but nothing is going to get me out of my chair, well aside from a trip to the kitchen for food and drink refills.

kitkat rant away, being this pregnant and sick as well is not fun!!

I avoided mcflurries for that reason in early pregnancy, but did have their choccy milk shakes so that was probably pointless. Had a mcflurry the other day I mean mint areo there was no way I couldn't have and it didn't make my sugars spike. So yay!

ilovemonstersInc · 19/07/2014 16:16

Im not too bad thanks top hope your enjoying some relaxation! !

Need to watch what im doing the slightest of things sets me off with tightenings! Like carrying washing up to dryer, washing up, ironing basically nearly all household chores that I do. Dh isnt domesticated enough to do it yet lol.

Tescos have baby pampers size 1 nappies in a box for £8 rather than 12. And the new johnsons baby wash range the pure sensitive I think it is is on offer
