YAY CUMBRIAN that's fab news and Im so glad you didn't have to wait & worry Smile

Im just watching OBEM and erm at least the first few women, well their bumps don't look huge, in fact Im not sure Im far off how they look and ive still got 9 weeks to go!

My mum says and not big and she is very straight talking...though I discovered this morning that my under bump jeans wont stay up and the crotch hangs around mid thigh, and my stretchy trousers with the fold over bit has to be all the way over the bump otherwise they roll down...

I really thought my jeans would see me to the end...might try and load a pic.

Nice to see some other forth timers on the thread. I'm due my 4th in September - my other DC will be 5, nearly 9 and 10 by then.

I'm looking forward to having just baby at home during the day this time, with the others being in full time school. We drive a Zafera (sp?) at the moment so will be OK 'cos it has 7 seats. But given that we mostly have extras with us - nieces, nephews, friends, grandparents etc) I am considering something massive like one of those VW Transporters that's rather like a mini bus. I quite fancy driving something massive!

Also, YY to the snoring mentioned earlier in the thread!

ilovemonstersInc · 03/07/2014 13:29

At this stage they like to treat a low iron count to stop it falling and its better for you after delivery too.

im 32 weeks tomorrow eeek. Have scan next week and will decide on a proper birth plan. Doesnt help hes transverse (laid across) personally I think hes stuck there as hes big anyway

On the rare occasions I actually get into a deep sleep, I snore so loudly I wake myself up. Usually to be faces with a pool of dribble too!

Just been to the dentist and had two fillings. I am usually very anxious and found it difficult to go but made it my mission to get over that so that my little boy doesn't suffer the same. Really pleased even if I did shske through the whole thing. Going back Wednesday for a clean and happily reading a "You and Your Baby" leaflet. The dentist said "only 2 months to go". Wow =)

white I've been feeling amazing since taking iron tablets. My sis refused to take them when she was pregnant but I'm so glad I have. After a few days/a week I felt full of energy.

How is everyone this eve? I'm still waiting for gtt results and keeping fingers crossed. Ella I'm with you and will freak when the first baby is born on here. We should place our bets now lol!

cookielove · 03/07/2014 21:12

Hello all, I am so glad its not just me that is anoring, I used a snore app and its horrific Blush

Ok, so apparently I have Gestational diabetes but I really don't think I do, I have been monitoring my sugars since Monday, I realise that isn't long. But i have had no spikes, not really even close to the evil 7.8! And I was naughty and had sweets and chocolate. I think my results were all squiffy cause I stupidly had the test done 2 days after I flew back from California!

Any who of course I am going to keep testing, but fx my sugars stay low!

I too find it odd that some of you lot are so near babes in arms and I still have forever to go, I feel I have been 28 weeks forever!

The only meal I have to do it before is breakfast so I only have 4 results a day:

So before breakfast: 5.3, 6.0, 5.5 and 5.9
After breakfast: 6.1, 6.9, 5.1, and 4.9
After lunch: 5.9, 6.2, 6.2, and 5.6
After dinner: 6.3, 6.9, 5.7 and I haven't done tonights as I only finished dinner 15 mins ago, got in late dropping dh off.

The 5.7 yesterday I had a maccy d's and a full fat sprite as I had already had my max of caffeine and no other drink is sugar free.

And the 5.6 today I had a kit kat.

God I sound fussy!

cookielove · 03/07/2014 21:45

Oh yes I completely agree with that ella I only really recently started eating breakfast and two days of porridge with sweetener in row almost killed me, I tried dry all bran today

For the gtt I think they want less than 5. Mine was 4.7 (2nd result) and before meal between 5-7 diabetic nurse told us that's normal range.

I know the normal range because of my dad being diabetic and under care of diabetic services and im the one who goes with him to appointments. Did you know a ginger nut biscuit is better than a rich tea iirc.

Thought I was being helpful lol.
Your levels look good. When dm had gd hers were through the roof!

Oh no just got my first spike, 8.1!! My only excuse is I didn't actually have a real dinner aa got in so late so basically had a load of crisps, some toast and sweets. Not at all healthy! Wish i had bothered to cook now.

Has anyone been hitting the sales? Ive finally sorted the damaged fabric and so Ive now got to get on and make the curtain for the babys room but I need to find the energy first, its also our wedding anniversary this weekend (though dh will have forgotten) Im not sure if I should book a table for dinner as I get very tired in the evenings...but it could our last chance for some time.....
