Glad to see I'm not alone in missing a relaxing glass of wine.

MrsCK I second the tiredness. I find that I'm much more tired at the weekend. I've had two naps today for example. Obviously that isn't an option during the week. I do find myself getting into bed with Ipad almost as soon as I'm home from the office though! Actually ordered some new bedding today from John Lewis Online (left over wedding vouchers) because I figured I'll be spending lots of time in bed. :)

jdr1234 · 31/05/2014 23:15

Evening all- so the sore boobs just kicked in...wow! Not like sore boobs before a period...it's ten times worse!!

DoYouWannaBuildaSnowman · 01/06/2014 08:43

Glad its not just me who's exhausted all the time - first pregnancy so NO idea what's normal....! Yesterday was a 2 nap day for me too. I've been waking up earlier than usual feeling a bit queasy and with pmt-type cramps, from 2 days after I first tested. Not feeling properly sick or anything tho, has morning sickness kicked in for anyone else yet?

persepolis123 · 01/06/2014 09:42

I've had nausea on and off. It will hit me all of a sudden then disappear again. I had morning sickness with DS until 20 weeks so not looking forward to that side of it.

That and the tiredness were the hardest to deal with and now I have a toddler to run around after. DP works completely different hours to me so most of the time I'm here on my own.

Luckily my parents help out a lot - they have DS three days a week when I'm at work and will happily take him whenever I need them to but I don't like to take advantage.

Last time we didn't tell anyone until 12 weeks but think we will tell our parents in a few weeks if all is well. What about everyone else?

mrshjb · 01/06/2014 09:42

Yeah I've been having little naps as well, might as well make the most of it being a weekend!

Yeah my boobs are sore too, mainly the sides which is strange and nipples too but I'm a bit more used to that!

I've not actually been sick but I've felt sick quite a few times. I've read if you get to the end of week 6 without being sick then you should be ok. So just a week to go for me!!

I tried Schloer celebration last night, it's supposed to be like sparkling rose wine, it comes in a pop top bottle and everything. Unfortunately it tastes nothing like wine....!! DH got me some none alcoholic koppaburgs to try and they pretty much taste like the real thing so they should be good for summer :)

MrsCK · 01/06/2014 10:15

Morning all. yup the Morning sickness has set in here. Not being sick, just the nausea which is rubbish. last day of half term today though so I'm going to try and enjoy it!!!

sophspot · 01/06/2014 12:13

Hello, I've come to join you all. Got my bfp yesterday which I'm thrilled about after early mc in January. Due date is 1st feb. I feel so nervous and sacred but need to be positive and enjoy this pregnancy :)

MrsCK · 01/06/2014 12:41

Hi sophspot I think this is the place to be if you're a bit of a worrier...I certainly am. sorry to hear about your mc...keeping everything crossed we all have sticky beans!

I posted way too early about morning sickness. I now have the nausea and the vomit together.....urgh. threw up just after taking my vits...do you think they'll have any effect now?!

Memphisbelly · 01/06/2014 15:14

Hi sophspot, love to see the group growing!

Jdr123 I know right? Boob ache is so different to period boob pain! All positive signs though.

We did a carboot sale today and made £100 dh said to put it away and spend on myself, wish I was further along so i could buy baby stuff!

I went on ebay in the night when I couldn't sleep. Found a maternity top/bundle of 5 (one top I saw on ASOS for £25) and as it finished at a silly time of night I won it for £5! 2 tops are vile but I can put them back on ebay again...or wear them when I am too fat to care what I look like.
I am so tired, I genuinly cannot remember ever feeling this shattered

araminem · 01/06/2014 15:47

Just found out I am pregnant...27 and 1st baby. My husband is a bit shocked...I got the IUD out less than 3 weeks ago and he was convinced it would take ages. He's getting happier by the minute though! I was convinced I was no pregnant as so far no pregnancy symptoms except some period like cramping.

I'm due 5th February :).

Lydiejo · 01/06/2014 17:46

Hi there. Think I'm ready to say it... I'm pregnant! Found out 2 days ago, due February 8th. Will be my second, I have a nearly 19 month old daughter. I am really excited to be pregnant again. I loved it the first time around. Surprised though too because it was our first month trying! I really really want a February baby, seems like a better month for some reason then jan. First one came 2 weeks early though.

carmen87 · 01/06/2014 19:25

Hey everyone! Found out yesterday I'm pregnant! Really excited! I'm due about 6th of feb!! Really over the moon as I had a m/c in November! But that makes me really scared right about now! Got extremely sore boobs!! No sickness yet but few pains in stomach n back! Guna get into the doctors tomorrow! Count down begins lol! X

MrsCK · 01/06/2014 21:31

Yay! love that the seats on here are filling up thick and fast. Please help yourself to a ginger biscuit :)

Has anyone got any mw appointments booked yet? my first is Friday. I'll be 6+2 :)

CursiveLetters · 01/06/2014 21:39

Hi everyone! Got my BFP on Wednesday after trying for one year, I'm due on Jan 31. I definitely have sore boobs and was pretty exhausted today. My husband is actually the worst secret keeper in the world and let it slip when he was out with his mum today when we agreed that I was going to tell her next week! I don't mind though.

The pregnancy is starting to feel real, but not yet the fact that I'm going to have a baby! (This will be my first.) Nice to chat with everyone here!

Memphisbelly · 01/06/2014 22:00

I went out last night and did pretend drinking thinking I had fooled everyone snd got a message today from one of the lads saying 'so when are you due?' He said he could tell as I just seemed different. Had a wobble as I don't want people knowing yet. Calling doc tomorrow as I need to make it more 'real'

CharlieWoo · 01/06/2014 22:40

Can I join please? I'm another due Jan 28th!!
So far not many symptoms. Just really sore boobs and very light headed.
This is our third baby. Have DD 4 and DS 2.
I want to shout it from the rooftops but we are keeping it quiet until 12 week scan.
Congratulations everyone.

JacktheLab · 02/06/2014 06:41

Morning all,

Memphis my mother in law has done the same thing, she sent me a text message just saying "are you pregnant?", DH and I are a bit annoyed about it, she's never been so blunt before! Safe to say I'm not replying to it and she isn't getting to know anything until 12 weeks! Grrrr

Welcome to everyone who is new, if no-one else gets to it I'll update the stats this evening if I get a chance.

Very few symptoms here, but it's really a bit of a waiting game until August I think when I should get my first scan.

carmen87 · 02/06/2014 07:57

Morning people! Hopefully get in the doctors today! But at work till half 2!! Didn't sleep at all last night too hot! And when I didn't I had the strangest dream and shot up n screamed scared the life out of my partner lol! Boobs are really sore but I'm happy with that coz it re-assures me!

Getting dressed for work and my trouser and shirt are tight round the belly area! They have been for a couple of weeks in just thought I was putting weight on lol! It's amazing how bloated I am at just 4 weeks n 3 days xx

Memphisbelly · 02/06/2014 08:17

Carmen I am also so bloated (and windy) yesterday I put on maternity linen trousers just to relieve the tightness from jeans.

Jack I tried to ignore it and change the subject and he insisted I was aaying he has a sicth sense and when I denied again he suggested I take a test as he was sure I was! Shock

Im sure my mil knows too as she is being very nice to me and when talking to dh she keeps asking how I am and am I drinking enough!

mrshjb · 02/06/2014 08:21

Morning everyone and welcome and congratulations to the newbies :)

It's so hard trying to keep it a secret from the rest of the world isn't it. I don't know why people are so blunt. I'd never dream of outwardly asking someone if they were pregnant. You work on the basis if they want to tell you they will don't you!

I've been bloated since about 8/9dpo to be honest and it's not got any better. Boobs are really sore as well and having to loosen the back and lengthen the straps!

I'm hoping to be able to book my first midwife appointment today. I was given the wrong number by my doctors surgery so that lead to about a week of messing about trying to get hold of the wrong people! But they did say they'd send me out an info back and advised me to book my first appointment when I'm around 7 week ish, so that should be any time from next Wednesday onwards. I'll see what they say when I ring today though.

Burmama · 02/06/2014 08:37

Hi all, 5 weeks exactly today, woo hoo! No major nausea yet but I don't want to jinx myself, I know it's prob coming any day now. mrshjb where did you read that about getting to 6th week without vom? That is potentially great news but I don't want to get my hopes up. I read somewhere else that it depends on one's own mum - I asked mine and she said she had no morning sickness in two pregnancies. But again trying not to get my hopes up. I live in Rangoon and the street smells here make me want to vom at the best of times!

Apart from that, only very minor symptoms, tiredness and more trouble than usual sleeping because I get so hot! carmen87 I know exactly how you feel. Last night, had to sleep directly under fully-blasting aircon which only kind of did the trick. Also anyone else gone off sugar?? Very strange for me not to want my daily choc.

Memphisbelly · 02/06/2014 11:14

I had no sickness last time, everything stinks though, I was convinced I had BO yesterday and to prove I didn't he sniffed up in my pits that is love Grin
Just been docs and I am booked in for next Thursday with mw and he said due to my medical conditions he wants an early scan the week after! Annoyingly my sister and her daughter in law walked in as I was booking appointment so my sis now knows. Literally walked to reception as she said 'so how many weeks are you?'

jdr1234 · 02/06/2014 11:24

Morning- I feel like I am the only one with literally no symptoms- my boobs are sore but that is it! no symtoms makes it harder to believe I am actually pregnant although I am sure I shouldn't complain! I am 6 weeks on Wednesday and then having a 7 week scan next Thursday as not seeing midwife till 9weeks!

Memphisbelly · 02/06/2014 11:29

Jdr I have just been messaging a friend who is 14 weeks, she didn't know until 10 weeks as she had no symptoms at all and still doesn't now, she went for scan on Friday expecting them to need to do an internal as she was so early but turns out she is nearly 4 months!

jdr1234 · 02/06/2014 11:56

Memphis- wow! how lucky is she that she firstly has no symptoms and is already so far along! The days seem to be going so slowly so 6 weeks feels like forever away!
