Lesbian mums

Hi, my wife and I are 32 weeks pregnant. We have recently started nct classes and were not hugely surprised to find out we were the only gay couple in the class. We live in east London, and are wondering if there are any groups similar to nct but for lesbian mums. We would just like to speak to others that have gone through the same experiences as us. Anyone know of any in London...

Try the LGBT parents board or Gingerbeer's Rainbow Families board. There are meet ups etc which might be useful to you as well as lots of online advice. Gingerbeer has more traffic than the LGBT parents board on here.

Partner & I are in West London and only 6 weeks pg so not much use to you - but good luck with your search.

The St Albans (& surrounding area) gay parents' group is open to lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender parents/ aspiring parents from all walks of life, no matter what their parenting route. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Alban Way Children's Centre @ Marshalswick (on Sherwood Avenue, AL4) 3-6pm. The sessions are drop-in and a 50p donation is requested for refreshments. Hey Karleigh - it's not NCT, but my partner and I recently went to the North London meetup of the London Gay Parents Group in Crouch End and a more lovely bunch of people you couldn't want to meet:
