What to pack in my hospital bag!!!

Anyone got any advice on what to pack in my hospital bag cos i'm getting all stressed over it!!

cheers sweetie, am half asleep so am heading off to bed but will look tomorrow, infact thats the task i've set myself todo in the morning cos i know when i've done it i'll be able to relax a bit more, night xx

ok,
nightdresses to give birth in (bring a few)
front opening nightdresses to feed if BFing (bring a few)
(dont take PJs as you'll probably have catheter)
Spray water... id invest the £6 odd for the evian ioniser (??) water sprayer thing
BIG maternity pads
BIG dispoable knickers (get BIG, dont be ashamed!)
dressing gown
slippers
things to do (book, puzzle book etc)
Drinks/ snacks (i brought lucozade but puked it all up )
Music for labour if you want
Towels
Soaps, toiletries etc.
Wet wipes
Socks - feet can get cold in labour
going home clothes (loose fitting)
Feeding bras

For baby :
nappies
wipes/ cotton wool (some hospitals dont let you use wipes, or only let you use wipes. bring both i say)
LOADS of body suits and sleepsuits... I had to change DSs alot as he kept puking all over them
Hat(s)
scratch mittens
cardigan (DS was born cold and needed a cardigan on aswell)
Going home outfit
Bring baby toiletries and towels aswell
Check if you need baby blankets and bedding...

food for partner, you dont want them nipping out
change of clothes for partner
change for phone
CAMERA..

Batteries for camera, film or memory card
a small hand held fan
breast pads
lucozade energy sweets - I was told off last time for not having them!
several hair bands if you have long hair

oh yeah, hair band, clips... nothing wose than hair in your face. I took them lucozade tablets aswell ... soon came back up

oh thanks guys i do feel much better now, ok am off shopping to make sure i have everything i need n when this bag is packed by the end of the day i think i will be a bit calmer!! Thanks for taking the time to reply you have helped a lot n made me feel much better

i always wished i'd had a pair of cheapie flip-flops to wear in the shower. not that it was manky, but you would see people going in and out barfoot and the very thought of a verruca gives me the heebie-jeebies...
also i took a tiny radio with earphones, which i was very glad of as the woman in the bed next to me snored like a buzz saw.

your favourite magazines.
lots of drinks to sip on, some lovely lip balm.
snack for afterwards especially, my SiL brought me in a big pack of twix bars, how I loved her for that
Also lucozade tablets to keep your energy up again for after.
