All of us May mummies are BACK like the Terminator only less deadly (unless preggo rage strikes and we're within waddling distance of sharp things)

Alyss, really how you're well enough to be with Gabriel today.

Bush i was the same with his picture, DP and I gazed at him for a good while, a perfect 26 week old baby. I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow and it's almost too much to think. I've had one already too, never gets any less crazy and amazing obviously.

Hope everyone else is ok. I have crazy SPD, feel like been kicked in the fanjo by a donkey and like pelvis is slowly crumbling and no longer has the strength to lift my great weight!

MoominIsGoingToBeAMumWaitWHAT · 09/02/2014 19:07

Does sickness return in 3rd trimester? I've not been feeling great all afternoon, feels like the start of morning sickness did way back when.

Everything's on a go-slow today. Going to chase up neurology referral tomorrow, the doctors wanted me to be seen as soon as possible. It's starting to get worse; these visual disturbances are starting to freak me out and when my head isn't hurting it's constantly fuzzy. Struggling with my uni work tonight, my mind just won't stay with it.

At times it matches the symptoms of migraines, at other times it doesn't at all. The whole reason I've been referred is because I don't meet the criteria for migraine Hmm

Xavielli · 09/02/2014 19:19

Fingers crossed you're well enough to travel tonight Alyss. Gabriel is very much in my thoughts xx

Sickness can come back later on moomin, it's more likely connected to the headaches.

It depends which Muslins you buy (checks spelling) the ones from high street stores are pretty thin and useless but if you get proper 100% cotton Muslins they're bloody marvellous. We use them as newborn nappies too :)

I've managed to get through 2 whole days without being asked to go to the maternity unit, this is progress!

MasterFlea · 09/02/2014 19:27

Wishing you a speedy recovery Alyss. You sound so strong.

That was lovely that you got to spend some time with Jeffrey. I hope you'll be reunited with Gabriel soon. Such good news that he is doing well.

My PGP has eased off again today. It is weird how it comes and goes for me. But nice to have relief every few days. "Kicked by a Donkey" is quite apt.

We tried out fitting three carseats in the back of our car and after much shuffing around, we found they will fit now! Yipee, don't have to trade in for a 7 seater.

PotatoPolly · 09/02/2014 19:51

alyss you sound like a pillar of strenth, i hope you don't have to wait too long to be reunited with Gabriel. I'm glad you were able to spend some time with Jeffrey. I have been thinking of you all day.

Finally got myself onto the facebook group, loving all the bump pictures!

I have bought a few muzzies (no heart stopping moment when i realise ive mistyped if i call them muzzies!) but just going to go with the flow!

Flea i know what you mean about coming and going, some days I'm fine, others my hips are on fire!

Bornin1984 · 09/02/2014 20:17

I know this has been discussed before but, sex life is non existent! Has been since new year! Feel like
I'm letting dh down Hmm

bushprincess · 09/02/2014 20:26

nanny luckily i won't make you jealous with our weather, it's still the rainy season and our storms have been crazy...massive electric storms that make me jump out of my skin!!

Night all, i hope everyone is feeling rested after the weekend, clearly are you come from the Babymoon?

Thoughts and prayers to Gabriel, alyss

mummytobe88 · 09/02/2014 20:49

Me again (previously lmac88)

Would anyone be able to help me join the FB page please Smile?

bornin I too seem to have completely lost my sex drive and feel bad for oh! Think he's just being polite when he says he doesn't mind...

Bornin1984 · 09/02/2014 20:55

My dh says he is willin to wait as
Long as it takes but I don't just have that urge :-/

mummytobe88 · 09/02/2014 21:04

The last time we did (a few weeks ago now) I bled the day after and as I'm rh negative had to take a morning off work to get an anti D injection. Think this may be another reason why I'm put off.

Our poor oh's!!

Bornin1984 · 09/02/2014 21:08

New Year's Eve for us!!! I'm not sure I'm spooked by the fact there's a human in my
Belly

NannyPlumForPM · 09/02/2014 22:35

What is this 'sex' you speak of?

Xavielli · 09/02/2014 23:10

Poor DPs life is made a misery if he doesn't oblige my sexual whims once a week!

Squiffie · 10/02/2014 01:42

flea I read the bit about 3 carseats to DH as we're looking for a new car and been trialling 3 seats in a few different cars - anyway his response was "'ooh, ask what car they've got!'"
So, what car do you have please :-)

Bornin1984 · 10/02/2014 03:54

Can't Sleep

dobedobedo · 10/02/2014 07:00

Last night I dreamed that I was in labour without even knowing it and the baby was born at 28 weeks, breech! I was at home and dh didn't believe I was really having him. So I had to resuscitate him and then he started crawling about the room!

I know other people's dreams are boring, but it was so vivid!

Anyway. One more week at work and then I'm off for a week. Can hardly wait. I'm really struggling now with the 3rd trimester tiredness and pgp and sciatica. The last time I had any time off work was in August/September! Only 6 working weeks to go after the week off until mat leave!

MoominIsGoingToBeAMumWaitWHAT · 10/02/2014 08:35

Argh! Woke up to very unforecasted snow and icy pavements! Looks like I'm staying in all day... my balance is crap at the best of times let alone when I've got bump tipping the balance Grin

It does look pretty though.

Bornin1984 · 10/02/2014 09:07

I'm off to triage in a bit not felt baby move since Saturday

MoominIsGoingToBeAMumWaitWHAT · 10/02/2014 09:16

Good luck Bornin fingers crossed everything's ok x

MasterFlea · 10/02/2014 10:33

Squiffie I have a Mitsubishi Outlander. I think it is a 2005 model.

Bornin I hope everything is okay for you and baby.

PGP has meant that sex is rare now. We are both fine with it. If DH felt like he'd been kicked in the balls everyday, I know he wouldn't be in the mood.

Actually, it is him that feels guilty. He is quite apologetic for not being able to share the pain and aches of pregnancy with me. He knows he has the easier life at the moment.

ClearlyMoo · 10/02/2014 10:49

Eek at your dream Dobe! BornIn let us know how it goes... Hopefully just lying awkwardly.

Bush, yes back at work today. Had crazy 7 hr turn round at home last night arriving home from babymoon and colleagues wedding evening do after midnight and leaving at 7.15am!! Eurgh! Had preggo rage arriving at work as BOTH the loos closest to my desk are out if order, so it's either trek across building cross legged or climb stairs!!!

Babymoon was LOVELY! Posh hotels with lovely food, proper showers (ours at home us just a dribble) comfy big beds and lots of time with DH, both day & night. We don't normally get much time to cuddle cos he gets up before me and goes to sleep after me!

I'm going to pay for lack of sleep last night later! Also not felt little one kick for a while so just ate some chocolate to get it going!

wm3010 · 10/02/2014 11:13

Hi all, have been away and I see a lot has happened!

Alyss congratulations, I hope you and your little one are doing well. You must have a lot of conflicting emotions.

All well here, was with my inlaws for a week which was fine until my FIL decided to fall out with us over a really petty thing and wouldn't speak to us for the rest of the week, not even to say bye even though he knows he won't see us again until after the baby arrives! It was very stressful, ended up having palpitations and difficulty breathing which was obviously horrible. I hate the fact that he can't have an adult discussion and just avoids the issue instead, find it impossible to deal with. The last time this happened he froze us out for 6 months. No doubt he will expect that when the baby comes he can just turn up at our house as if nothing has happened but I would find that really stressful as I am very angry about the situation and I think having a newborn is going to be hard enough without that to deal with as well. Families eh?!

dobedobedo · 10/02/2014 11:27

Masterflea My physio said being on all fours helps with pgp so if you're thinking of having sex, that might work? Wink

randdom · 10/02/2014 12:28

GP agreed to sign me off nights for the rest of the pregnancy. Hopefully work will accept that :(

bushprincess · 10/02/2014 12:35

bornin hope everything was ok when you got checked

clearly so glad you had a fabulous time - sounds wonderful!!

random glad your GP was sympathetic, hope work is too....

wm Families!! that sounds super stressful... what a nightmare!

dobe I also had a crazy dream last night that bean was born - was tiny and all wrinkly and wouldn't feed properly so I had milk gushing out all over the place! But he was also somehow grown up and could speak... it was really weird! Think Gabriels early arrival must have affected our dreams...
