I've got my scan tomorrow lunch time. Trying to decide whether to eat lunch in the car on the way (dh can drive) or whether to picnic in the waiting room that's prob not fair on other hungry pg ladies tho!

So I think my pregnancy sweet tooth has kicked in already. I ordinarily don't have a sweet tooth at all, but when I was expecting DD I developed an incredibly sweet tooth! And in the last 24 hours I have made 3 cakes Mississippi Mud Pie is currently cooling....

Good luck name to be, I vote eat In the car! Don't wait until after as you may have to wait around if they're running behind. And don't picnic in the waiting room...waiting for a scan is bad enough without someone chomping on their tuna sandwich next to you

Owly, I don't like repeated bad news, it stresses me out.

I didn't join the June antenatal group until later last time in an attempt to avoid it.

I'm feeling better now after today. I'm sure the stress will be back soon though!!

Apparently the gossip has flown round work about my pregnancy. Funny. :-)

I'm voting for eating in the car too, Name. They may not want you to eat in the waiting room anyway.

I have found the bad news very difficult, so sad for those involved and makes me wonder why I'll be any luckier, silly I know!

I wasn't part of any forums with dd, think I did worry less! But I enjoy talking and hearing from everyone!!

So do I. The support is great, but I just scare easily!

Great news on all the scans, and I saw one mentioned for tomorrow too!

Don't stress too much about NCT expensive groups. My health visitors in Middlesex and in South Bucks both ran post-natal groups, which I think is a common thing, and I have some amazing friends from both DS1 and DS2, so they do exist. They will also provide you with lists of breastfeeding / baby groups and all sorts of things. Don't waste too much time googling :-)

PS Health Visitor post natal groups were free!

Can anyone else feel baby? Mine's a dynamo. Or an elephant wearing clogs! I've got the old internal washing machine going on from baby whizzing round and round.

I did at the scan when she pushed down hard I felt a little push back! Mind you, she was running the scan probe above my belly button which seemed very high. Perhaps because my bladder was sooo full! Did you get nuchal measurement hungry?

Hungry you can feel it already?? That must be brilliant! I think I'm still at the stage where I'm wondering if I imagined it all. The scan I had at 7 weeks feels like a long time ago now and I'm worried about what could have happened since then. Still, got my booking in appointment this morning and glad to have made it this far. Also glad to be missing a couple of lessons at work! There has to be some upsides, hey??

So pleased for you countdown! Great to hear your news. Am still feeling rough, dizzy and sick especially in the mornings. Slept too long in the day yesterday ( that's what they mean by rest, right?) that I then had a difficult night. Hopefully it will go in a few days or I'll go mad....!!
Ruggle I think starting your own group is a great idea!

Starting to get bleeding gums now :( ive been pretty quiet on here because dp has 2 weeks off so will be busy with him :) might tell my mum this week or next :) feel abit excited actually!
Had to tell my friends sat night as I didnt go out with them and so they decided to post on fb asking where iam and if im pregnant! I had to tell them to delete the posts before mine and dp family sees and that Iam! But all were very pleased!

I'm currently lying in bed trying to pass the time. Scan is at 11.10 and I am bricking it!!! So worried!! I need a slap!!!

No Travis, no nuchal measurement.

The midwife asked me afterwards if we didn't get it because we wouldn't act one it. I said that we wouldn't even have an invasive test, so she agreed that refusing the test was the best idea in that case.

I know how you feel MissV. I was exactly the same yesterday.

And I felt DD before the first scan too. Both internal dynamos! She went on to demolish my abs. :-/

Feeling sorry for myself today. Me and ds both have sick bugs today and my youngest dd is also off school feeling sick...what a healthy house we are. We are meant to be having an architect round this morning andan electrician and gas man this afternoon. I really don't want to cancel but finding it hard to find the energy to sort things out ready for them!

Won't be long miss v and you'll be there :) I've got to wait until 2.30 on my scan day in a few weeks, I'll be doolally by then!! But I'm sure for both of us it'll be worth the wait
