Hi everyone, Its so great having this thread...I keep dipping in and it's so reassuring that everyone is feeling the same way. I think I have dropped of the list somehow, but my details are:
ClarissaG 35 DC1 15August

My scan is still a whole 8 days away and time is really dragging, I can't wait and am praying for good news. Lovely to hear everyones good news and I hope for everyone is all good news from here on in, really heartbreaking when not.

Its such a relief the sickness is subsiding and I think I am less tired, but at the same time it's a worry. I never thought I would be so emotionally invested at this this stage.

I've been reading a The Best Friends Guide to pregnancy, a bit american but I really like it and quite funny - would recommend.

Good luck for any scans this week x

Thanks bunny, I can't add or edit on my phone, so thanks for adding me. X x

travispickles · 26/01/2014 18:30

Hey hungry and others with scan tomorrow, how are you all feeling? I am feeling a bit sick with headache which I think is nerves. Quite stressed now! X

travispickles · 26/01/2014 18:30

Sorry- auto x at end. Please ignore!!

HungryHorace · 26/01/2014 18:36

Ha ha, Travis. 10 for you, yes?

Nervous actually. And underlying excitement that we can finally go public if it's all OK. :-)

It's Countdown in the afternoon, I think.

CountdownBegins · 26/01/2014 19:05

Hi ladies, just catching up on the thread after a weekend off- my sickness seems to have eased massively- this is the most 'normal' I've felt in weeks! Still feel neasuas but haven't been sick all weekend woo!

How are you feeling now Lucy? Also Owly glad to hear you got to see your little one and everything looks good.

Travis and hungry- I am tomorrow indeed- I have the same stress headache Travis and go from feeling very excited to very very nervous... Any ideas of what I can do to distract myself until the afternoon? I'll be at home going crazy I think! Can't wait to hear your scan news- less than 24 hours to go for us!

Finnable · 26/01/2014 19:25

Just checking in to say hello! Hope everyone's feeling positive and not as nauseous as me. I've been living off mashed potatoes, it's the only thing that doesn't turn my stomach! Poor baby...

Just found out I'm going to be representing my uni on University Challenge in the Spring - wonder if they've ever had a pregnant contestant before? If Paxman is mean, I'll definitely burst into tears if I'm feeling like I am lately! Grin

Jenbee1 · 26/01/2014 19:29

Congratulations findable that's huge

Jenbee1 · 26/01/2014 19:30

Argh autocorrect should be finnable

BunnyBaby · 26/01/2014 19:35

Travis Countdown - how exciting!! Will be looking forwards to your updates tomorrow.

I also cannot wait for the nausea to cease, though for me, the tiredness never seems to go away when pregnant.

Very excited however about getting washable nappies out again, and despite not finding out the colour with DS1 & 2, I am so tempted with this one as I'm sure it's pink. (though will be happy with another blue).

Such exciting times.

Loved meeting my first nephew this weekend. What a lovely year 2014 is turning out to be so far!

Hello ladies anyone else got the Sunday night blues?! I've been shopping for maternity leggings today and they are possibly the most comfy thing I've ever owned! I'm 14 weeks on Tuesday so should I be worried it's so soon I'm starting to get a little bump? Not sure if it's a bump or just generally too many jam sandwiches!

2beornot · 26/01/2014 19:39

Evening ladies! Loved being able to tell everyone this weekend. Makes it all seem so much more real! And DH and I have started conversations around finding out sex and names! Can't wait til we're all in the boat!

Congrats finnable - we'll keep and eye out for you!

mszeen · 26/01/2014 19:51

omg I want to cry! I foolishly thought that the nausea had passed 4 days of only dry heaving once or twice per day and no nausea between heaves - but no! Today the nausea is back with avengance feel I'm at that point just before an upchuck constantly and to accompany this fabulous feeling is the skurp (sicky burp) and watery eyes from sheer nausea... can you san spoke to soon?! yes I can.. [green sicky face]

The BBQ was lovely yesterday but I didn't count more than three fatty comments secretly so bingo card not quite full but think I will treat myself anyway Wink - bunny snap on the families although we wouldnt change them for the world Smile xx

mszeen · 26/01/2014 19:54

sorry realised I was very self centered last post..

good luck to all the scans tomorrow and congrats to the ones that have just taken place... had to lol at owl's doc breaking in to epu I too was picture balaclavas and crow bars Grin cheered me up - glad you are ok now xx

mszeen · 26/01/2014 20:03

ha have to change my word to sikurp (sicky burp) apparently to skurp is to cup someone's genitals Grin need to be more careful with the words I throw around..Hmm

mssleepyhead · 26/01/2014 20:14

Ah, mszeen, I had a horrible sikurp experience today whilst on the phone to my sister. Luckily she's pregnant too so understood! But she's feelin bad for telling me things start to feel better at 10 weeks. 10 weeks today and it's been my sickest day! Boo. So, right there in that boat with you... Hope you feel better tomorrow.

And good luck to all having scans tomorrow! Excited for everyone x

Finnable · 26/01/2014 20:14

Lol MsZeen!

Thanks guys... I'll only tell you who I am after if we get some questions right!

Tc80 · 26/01/2014 20:27

Puked in sainsburys again today, that place is my kryptonite. 12 weeks tomorrow and thought I was heading out of the sickness zone. Obviously not! Good luck all those with scans tomorrow :) x

Owlysims · 26/01/2014 20:28

Mszeen Grin and thanks for thoughts :)

Good luck for all the scans tomorrow Thanks

travispickles · 26/01/2014 20:39

Me too. 12 weeks tomorrow and feel worse than I have in ages. My dd's third birthday tomorrow as well which is adding to my stress... Just want a week off to sleep! Hope all scans tomorrow go well (mine included)

Ruggle · 26/01/2014 20:44

I get siccups rather than sikurps. I get quite violent hiccups after eating but sometimes the line between hic and sick gets a bit blurred!
Spent all weekend in my pjs...feeling sorry for myself. Not looking forward to work tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone with scans!

flymo79 · 26/01/2014 20:50

Hello all, sorry for those with Sunday blues and those feeling ick. I need a bit of hand holding, had a terrible 24 hrs following a lovely burns night supper with my bro and his wife. I rolled over in the night and my head was suddenly swimming, the room felt like it was tilting. Spent the rest of the night up chucking and heaving. I've kept food down today but have the most terrible motion sickness and dizziness, seems to have come from nowhere. Lying down is as bad as standing up, feel quite distressed. Worried as I don't think I'm safe to drive and have a long commute to work and three very busy days. Boo

flymo79 · 26/01/2014 20:51

Sorry for long and self involved post!

HungryHorace · 26/01/2014 21:11

Can you call 111, Flymo? Could be inner ear related, so you'd need to get it looked at.
